Dnf. Visited on remenwrence day ( called Veterans Day where i live in USA ) Felt around the trees but only sap on my hands. Im unable to climb if they is/was required
Sorry we didn't have a pen on us, photoproof attachedThank you found it with podargustg
A new favourite. Hint is accurate and was a simple climb with the gate nearby. TFTC.
Over in Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers foundLog signed tm/ww NZThanks for the placement and the effort put into maintaining these hides for us to find.
*In the area with woolwood9.* We soon managed to get the container found here! SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the reason to stop and I appreciate the effort in setting up these caches!*Last day in Australia for us - for now.
Found with Portstevo on our Easter weekend BM adventure, quick stop here for some vanilla slice from the nearby bakery, then off to the lookout, tftc
Tftc. Took a moment before I went oh there it is. Quickly grabbed, signed and returned with red_ear_slider
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook
Sitting here in the park enjoying my lunch afterwards I walked down to GZ in hun fort this cache,I looked in the obvious hole without luck before i noticed it dangling, a quick step up and soon had the signing duties completed Thanks for the cache
Came back for another day of Faulconbridge finds before it gets too wet. Easy climb to make my 18th find today, TFTC
I went up the tree for this one after spotting it from the ground. OCW irondale. Lots of fun and sticky hands to show for it!TFTC
I must be getting too old for these climbs, I wouldn't call that an easy climb, medium maybe. Thanks
I stopped here this morning on the way to an event.
I had done some research on the hide and looked at the cache page gallery photos.
Unfortunately there was nothing at GZ.
I think the problem may be the previous finder, a very new cacher has misunderstood the rules of the game. The log says " ...... and salvaged it." It seems they have taken the container to move to a new location instead of replacing it as found.
Needs a CO check.

Didn’t have my sidekick with me today which made it abit harder.

There are plenty of caches to be found in the mountains but we just selected a few to find with goingplaces2. Found it without much bother and replaced all as found before leaving. TFTC.
While enjoying a Blue Mountains drive and some great scenery with ilook4geo we visited this cache. Both names were stamped on the log after a short ascent using the equipment provided. Thanks go to TeamTrashy for this cache placement.
Pleased to score this bonus after a day walk along the Sassafras Gully Loop! TFTC
Found with my daughters, eemiaj while caching around the Katoomba area, visiting from the Hunter Valley area, the 4th and final day of our visit.
Quick and easy find for a tree climb, TFTC

That was a stretch. Fortunately had a tall teen with me who was happy to climb up. Tftc
We checked today and indeed the cache is missing. Have disabled until I find an appropriate cache to replace with. Hopefully within the week!
I just can't see it. No quick and easy find for me. I climbed. I looked. I tried different angles. Alas, no cache. I hate DNFs - they make me sadder than is reasonable for a reasonable adult
TFTC I'm about 5'3 and was able to just reach it. Good hiding spot a pretty hard climb for me
I was around doing Flagstack and a small amount of capping mythological creatures and I remembered there was a cache in Memorial Park. I started at the growers market and when I realised I needed a pen I had to go back. Then I went back and the wife was waiting for me in the car I asked if she wanted to come in case I fell off but she wasn't interested. Then for the acrobatics and I had it all signed. This is two caches in two weekends. What is wrong with me. Maybe I like the food at the market for breakfast and nothing else. TFTC.
Easy little park and grab with only a minimal climb. The cache is in good condition, signed and replaced. Thanks Team Trashy for placing the cache.

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently only a month and a bit behind. But that's still over 100 caches!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Back to Springwood and environs, where I managed to expunge a previous DNF (no idea how I missed it before - well I do as I still missed it the first two times I checked the right spot) and made five other finds besides.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Not exactly where I was expecting to find it. Got there, a little stretch and had it.
Signed, replaced and away.

Easy enough find and step up to retrieve this well placed cache. Could have made it even easier if we had brought our home-made TOTT. TFTC TeamTrashy
I’m sure we made it harder than it needed to be here, but we had fun all the same, and that’s what it’s all about. Log safely signed and returned to location. Tftc
Had lunch at Finns & then came hunting. Just visiting from NZ so good to get some caches. Couldn't see it initially but read a few logs & looked at a different level. Spotted it but wasn't sure how we were going to get it. Luckily my off sider grabbed a stick & managed to get it down. I saw be careful don't drop it in the water but guess what that happened. So trusty stick in hand it was retrieved & signed. Fav point for a fun adventure. TFTC
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Planning to collect some of the solved GFA puzzle caches around Luddenham and Wallacia, then visiting the Blue Mountains from Springwood to Wentworth Falls (over two days) for numerous Adventure Labs and other targeted caches.
Today (day 3) we completed two Adventure Labs that had their various stages scattered around Springwood and Winmalee, and also collected numerous caches of various types (Traditional, Multi, Mystery/Puzzle, and Virtual) that we passed along the way. Also visited an old "2 Dogs" Traditional cache from 2001 that we needed for an "old school" challenge cache. This was our 14th find of the day (day 3), and 60th find of the holiday.
After collecting an Adventure Lab stage this was the next cache we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. Did the monkey business and soon had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC TeamTrashy.

It was our last full day in the mountains for this years trip, so we decided to do some more caches around Springwood, the first area we cached in down here 6 years ago, always a nice spot. 21 finds with a handful of DNFs, we had a great day in beautiful weather....
A nice quick find to start the day, a little tree climb that Samuel enjoyed too. No probs with the cache.... TFTC!

Found today as the first find of the day, after arriving and looking around we couldn't find it until we looked up and quickly found the cache. I stood up on the fence post and grabbed it, but I couldn't put it back so Dad had to climb up and do it for me...

Visiting Springwood, the cache was initially not found. With four trees, what is considered the middle tree as mentioned in the hint?
The cache was spotted higher than expected, but luckily there was a climbing utility right next to the tree for an easy ascent to the cache.

Took quite a while to spot the sneaky little thing from the ground, but once I did, I wonder how people can actually climb this tree? I used the in-built man made TOTT that was already implanted in the ground to boost me up, grab the cache and sign the log.
Fantastic hide. TFTC

The cache was visible from the ground and luckily didn't require to much effort to reach.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Caching with oldmorty on our way up the mountains.
We'd were here at Christmas time, saw the cache but didn't feel confident to climb.
Returned with a suitable TOTT which made it very easy to retrieve and replace.

Grabbed this one with frazeydaze on our way to Blackheath. We sighted it at Christmas but didn't have the necessary TOTT to grab it. Thanks for hiding this cache TeamTrashy.
A quick excursion and a stop realised this was close so headed over. Plenty of looking up but nothing so started the climb only to look down and spotted it on the ground. We completed the signing duties and put it back in the tree to match the T rating. TFTC.
Walked up to Springwood for a coffee and found this on the way home. Had to be a little creative to retrieve this one as I was not quite tall enough. TFTC
Find number 5837
We searched everywhere and could not locate the cache when Mrs Booo who was just about to give up spotted the cache down in the drain. Mr Booo scrambled down and retrieved the cache and after signing the log placed it back where we though it should be.
Thanks TeamTrashy for placing this cache.

Tftc - did this cache after a coffee with storyteller a nice easy find only just reached it
Tftc - having a nice chai latte we decided to sit in the park and look for this cache. A little climbing required, thankfully geoson was in attendance also.
# 6107- Today I had more time available so I nicked up to have a better look for this one. It certainly wasn’t where I had expected to be, but much higher. I could only just reach it with help from the built in TOTT and a lot of stretching. Thanks.

I'd planned to look for this one on Friday, but decided to stay warm and dry inside. Today it was warm & sunny, a much better day to look for a cache.
It took me some time to spot this one. Actually, I didn't spot it by myself - a muggle friend, bikerbuddy, was the one who spotted it. Not being a cacher, he wasn't limited by an idea of where a T1.5 might be and just looked around and saw it in a spot I hadn't thought to look.
He also retrieved the container for me. I might have been able to reach on my own, but it looked a stretch for him, so maybe not.

One of those moments when you give up, but spot it just as your walk away. My daughter wanted to go up, but I told here I was coming back with something (a TOTT) to retrieve it...which I did. TFTC
Perhaps I am blind?A quick look before picking up takeway. Perhaps too quick a look

[FTF] quick zip into springwood for a new cache. Of course the pen I picked didn't like the glossy paper so may be just a smudge when the next person find it. TFTC.
