Logs
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi kelly0
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

With the coordinates taking us to a tree, which from previous logs was clearly inaccurate, a myriad of possible places to look , and two preceding DNFs, we weren't too surprised we failed to find this cache.
searched and searched but could not find ,even had to proform some medical on a flipper (hand) ended up stabbing meself on a stick. o well off to the next geocache.
Took the opportunity to call in for a short break and look for this one. No muggles close by so found without difficulty. Thanks for the handy placement kelly0.
Found this cache on the way home from Whanganui. Have often passed by without stopping, this seemed a good time. TFTC
Heading home from weekend in Taranaki, mostly doing maintenance on my geocaches.
I found the coordinates out and like others, located the geocache by extending my search.
I'll take *Kevin the Koala* with me on my adventuring. TFTC

Planned on leaving Kevin in Auckland however we couldn't find a cache big enough. I knew he would fit in here nicely.
I had wondered how easy this was going to be to find given a number of previous finders dnfs, but I went straight to it without any issues.
Thanks for adding some more caches to the area.

Found without difficulty, a previous visitor's geotrail was helpful but the coordinates were OK and a good sized container. Thanks kelly0, looking forward to more of your placements when we return to South Taranaki. Highly recommend the drive out to Waiinu Beach, it is a sealed road.
It’s about time I collected this cache. Especially knowing the CO.
A bit wet today so I did get rather wet feet but hopefully I didn’t leave too much of a geo trail

Quick and easy find!
Nice little town, mural nearby is very appealing.
Thanks for the cache!

Passing through Waitotara and thought this was a must to locate . it seemed obvious where it would be but no it was not the obvious closest to G Z but a few steps further and then it was an easy find. all was nice and dry and in good condition here.
thank you for this cache and it is great to see a new cacher in the manwatu/whanganui region . .

Over the years, I have stopped at the Waitotara Hotel on a few occasions for a meal and a drink on a long trip and been perfectly happy with the offerings. The timing of this evening's visit meant there was no need to visit the hotel but it was good to be able to quickly find this cache.
Up in the area on my regular weekend trip to Wanganui (from Wellington), and with some time to spare today, it was time to get some caches.
Embarrassingly, this took much longer to find than it should have. On my first visit I hadn't read any of the past logs so followed the GPS only and (obviously) found nothing in or around the trees. Timing meant I had to leave but came back later in the day where I expanded my search area. I did actually look to where the cache ultimately was, but somehow I just didn't see it. So I searched 'round and 'round some more, and under and in and behind and eventually, more through luck than good caching, I found the cache exactly where it was.
All safe and dry here, TFTC.

Yeeyur came to hunt this one while we here with work fixing powerlines and poles after the massive cyclone.. in the wrong spot for a couple minutes but had the cache in hand straight afterwards..signed and put back where found it .. thanks for placing this cache . Can't wait to find the rest your decide to hide in sth Taranaki
Having taken my pic in Whanganui for the Monopoly cache I was keen to put pen on paper and called in for this one when 'passing'. After checking the trees too many times I widened my search and came up with the goods. T F T C kelly0.
Having moved down from Auckland at the start of the week, and settling into a new work routine and having a new team at work it's been quite a hectic week. So what better way to kick back and relax than embark on a 730km, 16 hour marathon Geocaching expedition to the Taranaki region. It was more about quality than quantity and I had a number of statty targets; a couple more TMGT tour caches, my final missing S39 degree minutes for the Challenge cache, a few Virtual caches, including the new fmz Monopoly one, couple of Earthcaches, and a couple more DT combos, and anything else that I passed, but without adding too much diversion onto my trip. 36 caches was the total and a pleasing selection of treats and more than doubled my current Taranaki finds total of 24 finds total. Thanks so much to all the COs for their caches, imagination and hard work and maintenance, much appreciated. When I eventually made it 'home' at 1045 PM I was ready for bed, and dashed my (foolish) plans of heading to Ohakune/National Park etc today, that will keep.

A late afternoon find here today after a fun day in Whanganui. A nice clean & bright container was waiting for us which we signed and replaced as quickly as we could. TFTC
Stopped in here on our way home from a action packed day in Whanganui with the family. From steam boats, tram rides, picnic at the famous park then some Go Kart action we were feeling pretty tired by the time we arrived here so it was good to stretch our legs a bit. A quick find once the nearby shop traffic had left. Thanks kelly0 and look forward to finding your series you have planned!
After spending some time down the road at Ashley Park feeding the animals, having morning tea and a swim I remembered that there was a new cache in Waitotara!
A quick journey down the road and we were at GZ. We were tired and hungry from swimming so an Andersons Pie was in order from the nearby shop. Once we had our bite to eat we located the cache nearly immediately - talk about over complicating it the first time around!
TFTC kelly0!

Out dong a test drive with this recently published geocache as the destination.
Stopped on the wrong side of the road and followed the phone compass which got me pretty close to GZ. Stood for a second or two and thought where would I put a cache here? Spied a likely spot and the cache was soon in hand - TNLNSL and left as found.
Thanks for the placement kelly0, and the {*FTF*}
