What a quaint church, good spot for a cache as it was interesting to look around and read the history behind it, nice easy find for Mr. W.TFTC TNLN

On another road trip with our caching partners in crime to check out the area, Molesworth, Cathkin, Yarck and Gobur and pick up some caches along the way. This was our first cache we found today and what a quaint little church it was. Wetjala made the relatively quick easy find. We checked out the Church and the grounds and continued on our journey. TFTC and showing us more of this area.

We headed here via the Molesworth- Dropmore Rd. skipping a couple of cache locations along the way (parking was not the best) to seek out this cache. The cache was easily located so after a 'sticky beak' at the old church and grotto we headed off to the next cache.TFTC

What a strange little church and grotto! Cache was found quickly and in good order! Were visiting from South Gippsland, staying in Woodfield and caching around the area for a few blissful days (without the geokids ). Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC

Thanks for the cache BernieH,Taking a look up these parts this weekend. I always seem to be looking up these hills on my way to Seymour or Mansfield. We headed up from Molesworth along a beaut windey road, then my Motorhome became hopelessly bogged and I spent an hour trying to get out before telling the Misses that we would be camping right there. Some friendly farmers happened by and made short work of snatch strapping us out. I continued on and found some bitumen and parked in a clearing on a saddle This morning I hopped on the bike and went to Church, oh and picked up a cache too. Both experiences equally rewarding.Regards from Victourer

Caveat - funny name for a location, but we are in Australia! Delightful church and grotto in a peaceful place. We were entranced by the site. Perfect day. Cache found with the help of iPad camera. Unfortunately one pane in a window was missing, so The_Evil_Muggle made a temporary fix. Thanks for enticing us to stop and look.

A nice diversion on our way home today from a weekend of dirtbike riding at Starglen Lodge, we managed to have some time left in the day to stop and do the few caches we had left along the highway , and ended up sidetracked doing a big loop.
Interesting place. Tftc

Hmmm, Wangaratta or Caveat[?]Wink[?]RazzSurprisedBig Grin
On a lovely evening[:X]CoolSmile, a drive to somewhere new sounded like a great plan![^]Smile[^]Smile
Especially as yesterday I had found out that Rex definitely did have a tumour in his mouthTwistedTwistedSadTwistedSadTwistedTwisted and so on Thursday he will be having surgery to remove it![^]
A nice night drive sounded like just the thing for us both to unwind[^]CoolSmile[^]Cool

What a drive!Surprised[^]CoolSmileBig GrinWink We saw a deer firstSurprised, then a wombat, then a possum, then another wombat, then an echidna, a koala, an owl, a white Boxer dog, a tan and brown terrier dog, a cat, another wombat and the usual suspects, kanagroos, plus one lonely rabbitSurprisedCool[^]SmileBig GrinCool[^][:X]

All up, we found 3 Smile geocaches and I chose to leave 1 cache[?]SurprisedRed FaceRazz as it was 3km up a dirt track, on a hill and I was already tired[|)][|)] and wanted to get home alive[^][^] and not dead![xx(][xx(]

The next morning I had an osteopath appointment[:X][^][:X]Big Grin[^][:X] and drove there and then straight to the servo! My tank holds 40litres but when I filled up, it took 44.29litresSurprised[?]SurprisedRazz So pleased I didn't go and get that last lonely cache[^]CoolWink[^] No, I was not deliberately taking a risk: my fuel gauge stopped working a while agoSadTwistedSadTwisted[xx(]Sad

This is a cool spot for a churchCool While I resisted lighting my own fire in the firepitWink someone had held a good party hereSurprisedRazz The grotto is cool, tooCool Very similar to many fishponds that used to be seenRazzWink[^] We wandered and I looked at the muralCool[^]Smile and I wished I could see inside the churchSad

I found the cache in the first place that I looked for it, thanks to good coordsCool[^]SmileSmileCool[^]

Woohoo! Cool *FTF* Smile 19:43
