Coordinates changed from:S 36 7.856 E 149 8.638Coordinates changed to:S 36 7.861 E 149 8.650Distance from original: 63.1 feet or 19.2 meters.I have updated the co-ords of this geocache. I hope this helps everyone.

I have updated the co-ords and added a note saying "YOU DO NOT NEED TO CROSS THE FENCE'.This is a simple stop and grab geocache. The grass can get long if there has been rain, but it is not a complicated find SmileThanks everyone.

21-Oct-24
Coordinates need correction, before someone tries going through all that barbwire at the fence, as the coordinates are 15-20 metres the other side of the fence.

20-Oct-24
Grass is very thick. The coordinates are out 15 to 20 metres. People have been mentioning this and they need correction. NO need to cross the fence, as the cache is this side. My GPS had S 36 07.861 E 149 08.650. Cache was good. TFTC bianca_pietrasswong.

Found on a brief afternoon drive out to Cooma. With assistance from the logs, I found this cache almost immediately. Coordinates are several metres out, but the cache is in fine condition. Iconic air field, with its signage a major feature on any trip to and from Cooma. TNLNSL. TFTC!

20-Jul-24
I initially only read that it was not across the fence. If it's that much off it could be anywhere. Then I read it's at the sign and I could see it from across the ditch. TFTC

The team headed south by car for a few target caches as the weather was too lousy for a long hike and/or mountain cycle. We ended up on the other side of the fence as our GZ was out by a whopping 15m. NO NEED TO CROSS THE FENCE - GO IN FRONT OF THE SIGN & STOP AT THE FENCE and the cache should be in the long grass on road side of the fence although the sign itself is on the other side of the fence - TOO EASY for some - just not for me today. That barbed wire hurts. LOL. It sure woke me up from a loonnng drive. TFTC bianca_pietrasswong.

A fun day caching with the dream team. This cache took us a bit longer than we expected to locate, about 13-15m from GZ. Thanks, bianca_pietrasswong.

05-May-24
I'm glad I read the logs as it is out by 15m to 18m. There is no need to cross the fence. TFTC

While I was travelling through the Monaro for some bushwalking at Carlaminda, I took the opportunity to search for this geocache. My gps was struggling and would not settle so I turned it off and followed the clear track through the long grass and soon had the geocache in hand. Thank you CO for installing and maintaining this cache.

A cache trip to the mountains for a big hike around blue lake triggered by some events in Jindi. A number of caches planned for the drive down and some more for the way back (if I have the stemina for those).

This cache: A quick find along the way. Assuming it was this side of the fence it was found quickly once I went in.

Thank you bianca_pietrasswong for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

28,617. Found with albida33 during a nice easy day run down doing the Air Disaster Tour series plus any bonus caches along the way.

I had read up on this series and looked at the photos and was quite looking forward to visiting the area. With albida33 back in town we made a plan to do a nice easy day run through the area today. The roads out this way are in very good condition despite the amount of rain we’ve had. Next one of the day, and even though it was Sunday we saw next to nobody else around. A quick find was made once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, the continued on to the next one.

Thanks bianca_pietrasswong !!

Today I finally completed the A-Z Namadgi Tours multi in the south of the ACT. A pleasant 40k ride (for the second half). I then returned home via Cooma to pick up a few caches on the way. Cache easily found. TFTC.

21-Feb-22
After a fun morning of diving out at Montague island and then a lunch with a diving friend who I have not caught up with in too long, it was time to head home. I took the southern route as there is plenty of caching that way at the moment, but I was struggling with a deteriorating back and only did a few of the available caches in each area.

I found a very odd container with a log at GZ, but based on other logs, I looked further afield and found a much better cache 30m south of GZ.

Thanks for the cache bianca_pietrasswong
