Logs
I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi FullofunThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Sadly no view today & a DNF; shame about paru peeps & the rubbish about. Thanks anyway
Had a decent look around for this but came up empty. Lots of places it could be, but we couldn't find it.
We drove on our way to hike. Looked around a bit but no luck finding the cache. Some trash lying around but nothing else.
Couldnt lay my hands on this today, but still had a good time. I see I am third to not find it. Maybe fallen off?Cheers!
This one has me stumped.Kept come back to one tree which was spot on but despite searching it and others up and down no cache was to be found. Lovely view of the forest though
Took us a while but we kicked ourselves when we did find it as it shouldn't have taken us so long. Nice and easy
Where to start looking, there's plenty of options... Ohhh, no need! Here it is right here!
That was a good start. Cache was empty, no log in or around. Replaced with waterproof paper, so good to go again. TFTC

I find spotting these little bisons a real problem, and this one was no different. It took me a long time.
Soooo many hint tree's in the area.
And then when I finally spotted it, I wondered how I could have missed it for so long
The log is wet, but I managed to etch a readable name on it.
Thanks for setting this up

Thanks Fullofun we already had a list of places we wished to visit or re-visit during our week up North and the caches just added a good fun bonus to our holiday. This location also added a great lunch spot with a grand view and briefly without rain! Surprisingly for a Bison the log was slightly wet.
Lovely view from here across misty tree clad hills. Easy enough to find despite there being lots of the tree mentioned in the hint. TFTC
This took me longer to find than it should have. Lots of the clue tree confused me. Great view from here. TFTC
Holidaying in the Far North. Escaping the sun and heat by going for a walk in Puketi Forest. Quick stop (well it seems like it should have been) along the way to the trailhead. Took us longer than expected to spot the cache. We always find these types of hides trickier than they should be. Good view out over the valley if you are tall enough. TFTC
After a successful FTF mission on the new NOBO trail, just had to make sure to do these other caches around the DOC campground. Picked this up on the drive out and quite surprised to be 2TF as I hadn't realised that it had only been published yesterday. TFTC
