Got back to search for this one today after completing the Lab earlier. As usual picked the wrong side of the tram tracks initially but found a place to cross over!Today we decided to head to the Albert Park Lake area as our diversion on the way home. A lovely area, but at time interesting to navigate you way round. We also stopped for a number of other caches on the way. This is one of the caches we found today.Family matters have brought us to Melbourne for a period of time yet to be determined. As we spend time here however it gives us the opportunity for some caching in areas we would not usually get to.We chased a wide variety of caches and Labs with some great puzzles and Labs in some beautiful spring weather.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache gmj3191.**SKI Pair****
Im visiting from Brisbane while hubby is rowing in the Head of the Yarra. I found a few caches and Adventure Labs in the St Kilda area and the city on this very hot day walking almost 12km. After completing the AL, I found a shady spot and calculated gz. I wasnt sure how to get there by public transport so decided to walk. I was glad to see that it was fairly shady a lot of the way. The cache was soon found in this quiet location, logbook signed and replaced as found. I left a frog tb that I picked up in Dunedin, NZ, during the Mega. Tftc
Once again, in the city today, while I am doing support and photography duties for the Melbourne Marathon. However, I still had time to grab a couple of geocaches while walking between the MCG and St Kilda beach and then back again. This was one of the geocaches found. It was the last Melbourne Marathon when 999HK and I finished this Adventure Lab, but we didn't have time to look for this final. 999HK is not with me this time, and I probably needed her eyes. Took me too long to find, and I was just giving up when I spotted it.Thanks for the cache, GMJ 3191.Hunter
Spending the weekend in the Big City and stayed in St Kilda overnight. Applied some brain power and help from Google after completing the AdLab associated with this bonus cache. A short drive and wander beside the train line soon had us at GZ. The Planets aligned and we got to see TWO trains passing by! SL at 10.30am Left: eagle pathtag -eagles get to fly high above the Earth at least! #11,179 TFTBONUS gmj3191
The number of times I've ridden along here and not known of this fabulous walking track! Classic hide.
Found 11 Aug 2024 at 12:46:02PMIn town early this morning to volunteer for the St Kilda Rogaine and after my jobs had finished, I wandered back to the car via a few caches. Many thanks to gmj3191 for placing The Inner Planets Bonus Cache for us all to find. First to sign a fresh logbook is a first for me. 17500 steps and counting for me today. Been quite an adventure. TFTC
Nice work on the labs...Stopped by today for the bonus.Alas the cache inner is very wet, so is the log.Needs TLCCheers
Did the Ad Lab the other day and came back today to grab this one. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. TFTC.
I did the Labcache a long time ago and loved it! Now I finally went to grab the Bonus Cache! Had to double-check the coordinates as I looked around at GZ quite a bit without finding anything. When I was just about to leave, I finally spotted something and there it was, yeyy! Logbook pretty wet. TFTC!
Picked up with chook of chooknchunk after a nice walk in St Kilda. The placement worked out very well for us on our way back into Southern Cross Station. We jumped of the tram located and signed the log and got back to the stop just as the next tram was coming along. Thanks for the awesome lab and bonus.
Chook and wozzle68 travelled down by train from Western Victoria today for a St Kilda walk. Chook had done the Inner Planets Adventure Lab with another group of cachers nearly a month ago now, but didn't collect the bonus then because our walk had taken us on a different route. Today she returned with wozzle68, happy to re-visit the inner planets, but this time made sure our trip went via the bonus as well. TFTC and adventure labs gmj3191.
**The Inner Planets bonus cache , 8th Feb 2024**Despite finishing the Ad Lab a looong time ago, I never found myself in the vicinity and with enough time to search for the cache. The planets aligned today (*wink*) so I parked the geo-vehicle and made my way into the inner circle hidey-sanctum. After a brief search, the familiar type of container was spied, my moniker marked and I even grabbed the TB hiding here. Thanks gmj3191 for the informative A/L, and this corresponding bonus cache for our enjoyment.Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 7/74, Sunday, it was all about geocaching and relaxing. I had so much fun. The best part of the day was a really interesting and long discussion in a tram with an American guy that was spending a working holiday year in Australia. But the geocaches were good too. I visited the lab caches earlier and then I hopped off from a tram to walk to this bonus before I continued my journey with another tram. A quick find and how lovely it is to find a proper-sized container. Unfortunately, the logbook is wet and moldy. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! I completed the AL a couple of weeks ago with chooknchunk and sunset52 but we were walking in a different direction so didn't attempt this back then. Today after a nearby event, a small band of cachers headed off to grab a few caches around the Albert Park Lake precinct, this was but one of the many we found. Thanks gmj3191 for placing this Mystery Cache to enhance the game board and add to our enjoyment.
Completed the AL on a previous visit to St Kilda last year and today after the event over near the lake, a few us that hadn't found this bonus took a walk to have a go. Didn't take long and the good size container was spotted and the log signed. We then headed back for more in the sporty loop series, with Connie continuing to ask herself how she missed it on her previous visits. Thanks for the bonus gmj3191...
At last! Third time looking, both previous times with one other cacher, but no joy. This time we were a big bunch after a nearby event and Muzza alerted me to being right by it. Can't work put how I've made this so difficult before.
An RDO saw us here in the big smoke enjoying a fun if not sometimes frustrating (due to parking) day caching, seeking out multis and labcaches. One minute the sun was shining, the next we would get a shower but that didnt deter us exploring Melbourne via caching. We followed the bay around to St Kilda chasing the planets with both labcaches and gaining the finals for this bonus. At GZ we needed to be stealthy as a homeless person has taken up residence nearby. Cache found and signed before we headed off to the next labcache. Thanks gmj3191 for the Bonus placement.
A find after many months passed since completing the lab - gz was playing up a bit at gz but I eventually got there. Next stop a cafe. tftc
We were quite surprised how far away this was after completing the AdLabs but as it was on our route we decided to give it a go. Quick easy find at GZ of a bonus for a good easily completed AdLab. Our last one on our stay in Melbourne. TFTC
Hides like thiswould never be contemplated in Vancouver where I live because of its proximity to tracks. I decided to make this a destination today, after doing the adventure lab two days ago, with my sister and nephew. This is on the way to my cousins place - all the people I need to visit my last few days in Melbourne. Great to get this one. Quick find. Took trackable.Thank you gmj3191 for the cache.
After a little research, which the instructions suggested would likely be required, I had some numbers to input for a final location. Certainly handy having smart phones and mobile internet to play this game. A short drive away I parked very close to the ground zero I had worked out. I noticed some geo trails and I noticed a lot of spider webs too, which I was keen to avoid those. Some ducking and weaving and eventually I found myself at a tree with the cache right in front of me. A muggle ran past, to which I try to be conscious of being inconspicuous. Then a train passed. I signed the log and was pleased to have done another Ad Lab and bonus. Thanks to the cache owner for placing.
I found this cache today on my 27,500 step Elsternwick to Albert Park Wander. A quick stop across the tramline on my walk through Albert Park. I had completed the AdLab quite a while ago and came past today to pick up the prize. Thanks from D B-A
Found on a trip to Melbourne with pineapplegoldy! Some of the logs will be signed as "Jimmy".TFTC
Found all the inner planets and then made my way to this bonus cache. Not sure why all the complaints about the distance, there are other ways to get here. Found the cache after a short search but there was no log. Just as I was reaching into my bag for a spare, I noticed the log book on the ground. Dropped off a TB with a space theme which I felt was appropriate. FP.
Jimmy and Goldy are spending the weekend in Melbourne to see the Melbourne vs Carlton AFL Semi Final game.We managed to purchase two tickets to the sold out game via Ticketek Marketplace. We got very lucky, being online at the exact moment they were up for grabs.Obviously, we'll also be geocaching while we are here. I'm aiming to grab a few challenge caches and solved mysteries during our time here as well. The AFL game didn't disappoint and we got lots of caching in as well. It was good to meet people at our event in St Kilda as well.I didn't realise there was a bonus cache to this adventure lab until I was searching the map, trying to solve mystery caches in preparation for the trip. That's probably the longest I've gone between completing the adventure and finding the bonus.I like that this bonus cache isn't the traditional solve (A = 1, B = 2, etc.). Instead, using a puzzle which is directly related to the adventure lab.Once I had what I needed, I did the sums and the checker agreed. After travelling back from our event in St Kilda, we stopped by to grab this cache as I really like to get bonus caches. After seeming to walk into every spider web on the way in, the cache was quickly located.I love these containers and use them quite frequently myself.Thankfully, the walk out was more pleasant, as I'd cleared out all the webs on the way in. That's geocaching for you, though.Cache and contents in good order. I'm all out of favourites since I came across lots of good caches while visiting, I'll get around to allocating them as I earn them, at which time I'll edit this paragraph. Thanks gmj3191 for this adventure lab and bonus cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3583 on the 17th of September 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**
Very happy I didn’t do this in one day. That walk would have taken too long!
Did the adlab sometime last year I think…anyway. Easy solve and find. TFTC. SL at 12:20pm.

It was a pleasant sort of afternoon for this time of year so I set off for my daily exercise... and a couple of cache finds. I'm not a great fan of Adventure Labs because they are usually so easy to complete... although I do tolerate them when there is a *bonus cache*... and so it was that after completing a nearby Multi in the botanic gardens, I was on the foreshore completing the *Inner Planets*.
With all the information collected, I soon had GZ worked out... yep, that's a big walk from here... but I was out for some exercise... and exercise is what I got! About 10km all up door to door... with 2 caches thrown in.
Thanks **gmj3191** for this bonus cache.

The lab cache was fun to do and I enjoyed the longish walk to the final. To infinity and beyond! TFTC.
Did all the walking a while ago and had the chance to complete it on my last visit.
Spotted it and signed in.
Really enjoyed the walk and gathering the info. Thanks for a great LAB cache.

Thanks to gmj3191 for this bonus cache, we had fun a few weeks back completing the Ad Lab.
Learned a few things which was great.

I enjoyed the Adventure Lab and after completing it I made my way back to the car to nut out the bonus. I then worked out what was needed and soon had a tick from the checker. After being in a very busy location for the AL it was nice to find a secluded spot with ample street parking nearby. It wasn’t too long before I spotted the cache. Thank you gmj3191 for placing and maintaining The Inner Planets Bonus Cache for us to find today.

Out with Rebel Acts, possibly caching for the last time this year.
So happy that the weather is cooler today after the last few hot days this week.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. We did the lab some time ago but the Bonus did not come out till some time after, it was good to turn this one into a smile.

I had completed this AdLab ages ago, but never got around to GZ to pick up the bonus.
Today riding around the area we made a detour to look for this cache.
A nice bush ride along side of the park.
Enjoyed both Planets AdLabs.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20614. Riding around on this side of the bay and I was fortunate enough to be with Robmc who had already done the AdLab - I will be back another day to complete both of the Planets AdLabs by bike - the best way to go. Found myself with the container staring at me after I had bent to check something else. Names added and we continued on.
Thanks gmj3191

We had completed the Ad Lab recently and today with our grandchild we looked for the bonus. We were able to park nearby and it was all quiet near GZ. The cache was found after a short search. Thanks to gmj3191 for the cache.
I completed the adventure lab last weekend, but did not realise that there was a bonus cache attached. I sorted out the coordinates and made a return trip today to find this excellent bonus.
Having completed the two planet labs (the outer one in a rather piece-meal manner), it was time to grab this bonus. A great morning walk and a quick and easy find. All good here! TFTC from Tennessee, USA
After nibbling away at a couple of Outer Planet AL locations I decided to take a decent walk whilst completing the Inner Planets AL as well as the last two Outer Planets AL locations.
I couldn't have planned the walk more efficiently if I had tried. Not just that but the windy, vaguely wild weather kept the muggles to a minimum along various stretches of beachfront.
I always enjoy visiting South and Port Melbourne. Something about the variety of housing types, greenery and neatness really appeals.
As expected the CO has picked a particularly good spot as GZ for this bonus cache.
I'm looking forward to hunting down the Outer Planets bonus cache when the CO has a chance to establish it.
I'm awarding a FP for the concept and location of this cache. Well played.

Love a bonus cache. GPS took a while to settle but very obvious, nice container when found. TFTC
Great to have this bonus cache done too - been excellent to do these. Thanks so much for this bonus cache gps pretty good easy find just keep your eyes peeled! Don't have to worry about muggles at least!
Always love a bonus cache after completing an Adventure Lab. Great spot for the cache too! Thanks for the Sunday morning fun
Found by Mary and David at at 14:45. Almost a year since we learnt so much doing the associated Ad Lab, and now we can add this Bonus. Haven't seen you both for ages. Don't know this area very well, Glad to find plenty of parking close by. Loved the scent of wattle everywhere, and give this one a FP. Our thanks to gmj3191.
I had a few trips between Elwood and Port Melbourne for my daughter's gymnastics today and on one of those I had time to stop and take a look for this one. I had done the adventure lab series some time so when I noticed the puzzle it was a quick solve with the information I already had. Longest step was finding a parking spot nearby along this busy road but after a quick u-turn I was able to stop not too far away. A short walk to GZ and I soon spotted a container familiar to others I have seen recently from this CO. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the adventure lab and this bonus cache gmj3191.
My third day in Melbourne; just a few hours free this afternoon to pick up a few caches in the Albert Park/St. Kilda area. The rain held off!
Last cache of the day. The outer planets will have to wait! I enjoyed the Adventure Lab, and a sense of accomplishment with making the find at my my calculated GZ afterwards.
I was hoping that this cache might count as being in Unincorporated Victoria, but I see now that it isn’t.
FP for Cache of the Day!
Thanks gmj3191.

I didn't have a notebook on me so it took me a little while to decipher the coords after completing the AL. Luckily the bonus was on my way home.

We were looking around the area here while waiting to catch the ferry to Tasmania. With a couple of hours spare before departure we did the Lab Cache accociated and then this bonus puzzle.
We enjoyed the series and the little puzzle required to decipher the final co-ords.
At GZ the co-ords were spot on for us, we found the cache and added our names to the log.

We had planned a late night caching trip that was expected to go into early morning with Donutholes, Dromaniax and AusFox; The plans were to start in the Williamstown area and grab the Lab caches that we were yet to find there. We then head around the bay for further Adventure Labs and other miscellaneous hides.
We managed to pickup the Wp's on our way around the bay on route to sinking the battleship. By the time we were on our way back home again at stupid o'clock in the morning we had them all complete and we had our final GZ for this bonus cache. At GZ I was casually checking my GPS and ended up accidentally find the cache.
Thank you gmj3191 for the Adventure Lab and the Bonus

Out late night caching with Donutholes, SimsFamily and Dromaniax to tick off a few AL and caches in between from Williamtown to Mordialloc.
I’d seen these art installations on TV and thought this would be a great AL series.
And great it was exploding the gray brain matter of size and distance put into a compressed series.
Log signed and replaced as found.

It was decided that AusFox, Sims_family and Dromaniax would do an all-nighter and smash out a bunch of Adlabs, trads and some solved mysteries.
After working out what was needed to get to GZ we made the short drive to start our hunt. This took is way longer than it should until Sims_family accidentally stumbled upon it. Thanks for the cache and the Adlab

The call went out who wanted to go caching tonight. Four of us answered the call. Sims_family was our chauffeur in the Ginga Ninja and Ausfox; and Donutholes completed the team.
The aim was to complete a few Adventure Labs and pick up any interesting or nearby caches in a trip that went from Williamstown to Mordialloc and back again.
We had completed the Adventure Lab earlier in the evening? Morning?
We were headed home and planned to pick this one up on the way. We all piled out of the Ginja Ninja and started looking. What looks odd about four blokes all heading off into the bushes together?
The cache was finally spotted illuminated by Sims_family torch while he stood 12 inches from it, checking the coordinates.
The cache is in excellent condition.
Thank you for an enjoyable Adventure Lab and the Bonus cache gmj3191.

A late night stroll around the planets.

It's not often that I stay out until after midnight during the week, but after the horrid first day of Winter, tonight was perfect. Brisk but clear. Too good an opportunity to pass up.
Memories of my younger days spent in and around St Kilda, Middle Park, Port Melbourne area.
Wandering the almost deserted streets. With a bonus smiley thrown in.
Thanks for the micro adventure gmj3191

A great afternoon walking from the sun to Pluto. The planets (except earth) are named after Greek and Roman gods, but god's of what was our question. We guessed a few, God of War (WTF, who made that up?) but we were mostly surprised that Pluto was not in fact the god of dogs! Great day to be out and about. At Pluto there were two electric scooters and I swear they were calling our names. We hopped on and scooted back to the sun. We drove to GZ even though its very walkable. A quick find and I'm glad to say we were on the right side of the fence. Thanks for a wonderful day gmj3191.
After a fun adventure by the bay visiting the planets, we ventured inland toward GZ. We were on the wrong side of the tracks at first, but corrected that. We then suffered a bit of cache blindness before realising it was right in front of us. The container is gorgeous. Thanks for both the adventure lab and the bonus cache. TNLN.
Last one of the day. Took a little solving but soon had this one in hand. TFTC
After working 5 days at the Australian Grand Prix it was time to go caching. TFTC

I had done (and enjoyed) the related Adlab a few weeks ago and today I had a gap in my non-trad calendar so I stopped by on my way home from a very rare day in the office. On my first attempt I found myself on the wrong side of the tram tracks but that was easily (and safely) corrected and then it was just a short search before I found the cache staring me in the face. TFTC!
With the LAB cache completed a little while ago, I was happy to return today and have a search for the container. The satellites were kind to me, and I was soon adding my name to the log. These are very suitable urban hides indeed.
Thanks to gmj3191 for placing this cache and for the enjoyable LAB cache too.

Out with 2 of my kids, Jetsons23, CeeJayDenno and Prezdough for sone caching adventures around St Kilda area. The weather was kind to us and it was much cooler today than the last few hot days.
CeeJayDenno and Prezdough had already completed the lab and bonus earlier this month so they bid us farewell and we headed out to find this one. We found a nice easy path in making an easy find. Then we noticed an easy path out different to the way we came in. Nice.
Great little Ad Lab too along the St Kilda foreshore.
Thank you for the bonus cache here gmj3191

Great adventure lab, was out with friends for the day caching. Nice day, overcast but nice temperature. Nice to get the bonus. Thanks for the cache.
Once I got the coordinates it was pretty easy. However, we went through the bushes not the path because we didn’t see the path.

Out and about with PrezDough and we did the AdLab of the planets.
Now having deduced the puzzle, we made our way to GZ and bashed our way to GZ and found the cache pretty quickly. However the nice wide path on our exit certainly was the preferred method to get to GZ.
Anyways, it was a fun adventure and this bonus cache is great.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

Having found the adventure labs some time ago, I quickly worked out the final co-ordinates for this bonus cache, then went out after dinner for a look. My 2 GPSs pointed me at a particular spot, so I searched there for a while before expanding my search, which was when the cache was found.
Thanks to GMJ3191 for the cache and for the adventure lab caches.

Found at 10:47 am.
With the weather forecast for quite a lot of rain today I wasn't expecting to head out at all. But it looked ok and so did the satellite map so out I went. Gee it's good caching during the week, usually I only have time on weekends when everywhere is so much busier but today it was great.
Saw this published yesterday and solved it there and then but had a dinner meeting so couldn't come over and look for it even though FTF was still up for grabs.
I did the adventure lab with Fleabag- a few weeks ago and just finished the outer planets one a week or so ago so it was nice to complete it with this cache and nice to be able to park right nearby.
Thanks gmj3191 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

19.20 (FTF) thanks gmj3191 for the anticipated Mystery to the Inner Planets Series.
Like a minority few this week I am working and received the notification there. Oh well still have work to do so put it aside .
When finished, I noticed this still had not been found at 18.45 - so stayed at work, discovered the necessary information , tied it into the Adventure Lab data and worked out some numbers - the checker agreed with my coordinates.
A ten minute drive got me to GZ , where ,after a fumble about the side of the fence I should be on , I reset to find a crisp, clean logbook - in a familiar type cache. The coordinates were spot on .
First FTF for some time - and a Mystery /Lab one at that . Nice way to start hopefully a Happier New Year . Have a favourite !
