Today we headed out for a day of quality over quantity caching. I did however have quite a big list which as usual we didnt complete. Never enough time in the day!! We did some nice walks and found some lovely caches. Our thanks as usual to all the hiders for this wonderful work, there were some really creative caches today. This one couldnt have been 3m up, we replaced higher. TFTC

These green boxes have been spoiling the yellow around them for too long now, so we brought the pole down with us today to try fix that. I have never been here before, so thanks for highlighting the area. There were plenty of butterflies about, but not much else that we could see. All four caches were easy to retrieve and return, although we did find one on the ground, we put it back where we thought it might go, but it could get blown off again as its very light. Thanks for the cache whitewebbs!

Wonderful camo! This was certainly something a bit different. What a "Cray"zy hobby we have really when you think about it! I would never be able to explain to our muggle friends what we did today, especially with caches like this. They'd all think we're absolutely "Cray"zy! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan

Are we cray-z for doing these? Took a bit of a hunt for for this one, even though it's so obvious.

This is an amazing series of caches!

Third one of four for the day. It was just as exciting as the first
Pretty quick find and perfectly placed. We enjoyed the surroundings just as much as the cache.
Thank you whitewebbs

Hi whitewebbs,NatalieC1234's family and Mr & Mrs PC had a lovely lunch at the Foreshore to celebrate my birthday. One of my presents was a TOTT which we hoped would be able to retrieve your four caches. Having been with 63Roos and ALL7 collecting the SSF Series I thought it might pull up a tad short as the 7m in the description was spot on. This was NatalieC1234's first go at this fairly new type of hide and once they too realised we were a tad short we set about calling in the engineer Mr NatalieC1234 to gerry-rig my new TOTT with a fairly long stick and tied the two together with what was found in the backpack. Success was achieved by me to retrieve but that was me for the day lol, strength in my arms was a problem today. Signed the log and replaced Cray'zy in his spot. A lovely walking track running parallel along the road and then down and around the lake. Thanks for all your caches. FP here for the series. An afternoon of thinking outside the square, learnt a lot.

Thanks whitewebbs for the cache and the adventure.
Found with AlbyDangles.

Sometimes when our monthly 'boys night out' for dinner dwindles down to just the two of us, AlbyDangles and I turn it into a geocaching evening, and so it transpired today. We did try a somewhat veiled attempt to scam dinner with some locals, but they claimed to be out .
Am enjoying the "themed" hides, thanks.

Cheers, EPs

Wow - this was a great cache

Walked to this cache and my phone keep saying I was 18 metres away. Seemed I circled the cache before coming to the right spot

Extended the pole for the first time and quickly recovered a great themed cache container. VERY good

Favourite point given

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A strange night out to a degree and quite a bit of time to spare lead me to find a number of caches in the south arm area. My son needed to get to a mates place by 6.30 and be picked up by 9.30. Ok. 3 hours to spare…… hmmmm. Caching time. So jumped in the car and headed towards the Calvert lagoon series of caches by Whitewebs. These cache were all great and I will be handing out a lot of favourite points. Then on to a few around south arm and again the three that I went to and found were all top caches. More favourite points.

Lastly I stopped by a cricket ground I have played at numerous times to find the last of 8 for the night. The first four were found in good light. Number 5 in fading light and the last 3 by torch light.

I huge thank you to the cache owners for some great caches and filling the night in for me. Apparently I will be out this way again in a months time, so maybe I can clean up a few more around south arm

Thanks for this little series of caches whitewebbs.
After getting up early to watch one of my sons compete in an eSports cycling race, RLD4963 and I headed out for a couple of hours to look for some caches that required a TOTT.
This was our second stop - this time it was me that spotted it. An excellent container - a favourite from me.
No trouble retrieving and returning.

Today we decided to tackle this series of pole caches whilst staying the area.

An excellent series that we enjoyed finding. The themed cache hides kept us guessing what we might find and we were not disappointed. A nice area to wander around and adding to our favourites.

All caches were in excellent and appreciate the time and effort gone into creating and hiding these caches.

Thanks whitewebbs for this series.

Our targets for today were the four recently placed caches around Calverts Lagoon. We made an early start hoping to avoid the heat but in hindsight, the hottest part of the day was during our visit. We trod carefully in case there were active wriggle sticks where we wanted to go but all we found were two very large and active blue-tongue lizards. Despite the heat, there were good walking conditions.

It took a minute or so before we looked in the right area to locate this cache. Then it was a straightforward process to retrieve the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Replacing the cache occurred without a hitch. Thanks whitewebbs for placing this cache.

After this series came out in our local area, The Roadies and I came to investigate, even though we didn't have the necessary equipment. We claimed a First to See, but apparently that didn't count!! The Roadies got inspired to make an appropriate purchase and with some assistance in modification and appropriate use from the said cache owners, we came back to tackle the lofty heights today. We knew where we were going for this one and RoadieM was the first to use the new TOTT. She did a sterling job of her first lofty cache and we had the crazy critter in hand pretty quickly. What crazyness!! and what fun!. Thanks whitewebbs for all your assistance.

Whoohoo!!... after getting some very helpful advice from the COs, obtaining the required TOTT, amending the required TOTT and subsequently very generously given some essential hardware from another of Tassies' caching elder statesmen we were finally in a position to start tackling the unreachable caches.
This is our first lofty find and retrieval. I was allowed first go and after some wobbling and weaving had the crayzy cache in hand. Oh.. then you have to get it back...
Thanks so much for the assistance and the cache whitewebbs, gets a fav point in honour of the great cache and our first find of this kind

4 New "Pole Required" hides... Sweet! i thought to myself upon discovering these when looking on my map recently.

After grabbing 2 new hides at Halfmoon Bay, i decided to attempt these 4 on my way back with my crude excuse for a Pole ha ha. It is not all that long and needs to be 'joined together' in order to make it long but i thought to myself... "What the heck" i'll have a go at the lower D and T-Star hides first and if i can't reach them then i'll have to make a better and longer pole and be back Cool coz i always love a challenge.

This "Cray"zy hide was easily spotted, i was able to reach it and i had the cache down in a jiffy. Chuffed-as Big Grin with my success i was SL at 12:50 on Monday 10 January 2022 then re-elevating the booty back to it's exact lofty hiding spot with no troubles.

(I love going for these lofty hides ever since 8 December 2020 with a friendly Cacher back in my home city of Adelaide. We cleaned up so many that day [^] Cool)

{Once i was able to reach one i was "hooked" no pun intended Big Grin}

TFTC whitewebbs.
The log within is dry Cool

It was nice to come down South and find some nice pole caches today, we had the idea they would all be in the same area but while they needed a bit of walking it was well worth it they were all great hides that had been well made and I picked up an idea that i may have to steal.

A quick trip down to south arm with goose driving to find the spread of new caches that have come out not long ago, nice weather for it too.

Thanks for the cache.

It was a bit of a sloppy walk to here after all the rain. All the hoof prints had been filled with overnight rain. Ducking into the clearing the cache was spotted after a look around. I handed over my pole again and the cache was lowered down, signed and returned easily.
I enjoyed the whole series and luckily the rain held off.
Thanks whitewebbs for a "Cray"zy cache.

We had a mishap on Monday at one of the “pole” caches down past Gretna and thought we wouldn’t be able to do any more pole caches until we retrieved the missing part attached to the “trace” on the container. With our family beach day being postponed today and the rain dispersing we decided to see if we could find the missing part as the next finder told us where little part was placed!

Returning home, male membsec asked whether these 4 caches had been found and with 2 other caches published further on we thought we would have a look at these pole caches. They didn’t let us down. Mrs whitewebbs tooted us as she went by the parking spot and then rang us as we neared the first cache. A bit of talk about technique was really valuable and we had a great time practicing our technique. Lovely walk in this area and an appropriate container. So relieved to see a blank page so **FTF** @ 2:15. Another nicely themed container. Wish it was alive.

If we had favourite points to give we would. TFTC
