Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit & doing the things that we want to do we had been staying near Kerikeri, in Northland we decided to do a chunk of the KeriKeri ~River Walk, started at the Rainbow Falls and walked down towards to the Wharepuke Falls 7.5kms & 1hr 45mins there were only 3 caches on the track we were on & we got them all we love walking in to see waterfalls & theyre all the better if they have a cache nearby this cache ended up being an easy find, log signed & cache easily replaced pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #4,951 for us!
I had some time to pick this one up. The track was busy with people swimming in the river.
1st log of 2024! Logbook was soaked, but I managed to write my name on it.Cheers from belgium
Quick find while out walking with our athletic group on a Christmas run. Found by the muggles in the group, of course!
Find #640Found while walking Te Araroa - new Zealands long pathway from Cape Reinga to Bluff. Thank you to all the cache owners who place and maintain these caches, and thank you to all the people who help me and others on the wayYet another beautiful spot on a beautiful walk. Unfortunately log and inner container have seen better days. Photo attached as to wet to sign
What a gorgeous walk along the river. This is why we enjoy caching so much. Mrs B had this in hand quickly. TFTC
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with Fisha1288 ONLY 3 MONTHS TO CHRISTMAS DAY Cheers, Cympull.
Easily found, the coordinates and the hint/spiler are precise. The walk to Rainbow Falls was nice to do. The falls are beautiful.
Greetings from France and thanks for the cache.

A slightly rainy day meant we could attempt this section of the river walk. Very nice. Got these on the way back. All is well. Ngā mihi, TFTC
It's hard to believe it's June already! With the start of the new month another 'Wheel of Challenge' begins. With it being Kings Birthday, I was off work so it was a perfect day to go for a walk.
I've seen this cache trail many times but I'm always too busy. I also don't get over to Kerikeri very much anymore. Most of my kids are in Auckland now.
I've enjoyed this track many times over the years usually with caching. I just got this one today. I haven't got many local caches left and I might need the others later on. I parked at the bridge and walked in from there. Not a long walk, but a pretty one. There were quite a few people even on this section today.
A fairly quick find at gz. As others have said the logbook is damp and hard to write on. Thanks for this trail

It’s there! Trees seem to make the coordinates difficult though. Sometimes I was 4 metres away sometimes I was over 10 metres away - all when standing in the same place. So adding a spoiler photo.
Looked under many things, but so many choices for things to look under... I wasn't able to find the correct one...
Lovely day for walking along the river and plenty of people out enjoying it as well. Cache is all good. TFTC
Day 2 of the tiki tour with Mrs NZ Travellers and we headed up this way for a wander.
We were initially looking on the wrong side of the track first…read a previous log and soon spotted it from the angle I was standing at but Mrs NZT reached for it.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
This is a very popular walking track, so I had to be wary of muggles when I looked for the cache here. Fortunately it was a super quick find.
Thanks for putting this here

Looked under a few things until we looked under the obvious thing.
No fairies here today.

Thanks very much to FULLOFUN for her/his prompt maintenance on this cache and for permission to log it as found remotely as it was missing when we looked. For this and the Food series I give a
Thanks to FULLOFFUN for responding so quickly. Good to know cache is back safe and sound. With permission from CO logging this remotely.
Apart from the GPS jumping around giving us false locations we couldn't find this one today. Had walked down the track NZMCA camp Rainbow Falls, so a bit disappointing. I'm sure we disturbed every Huhu bug in every hollow log of which there several . No saying its not there, good luck to you.
This was as far as our unfit weary legs would take us today. Nice to revisit where I placed a cache , years ago. TFTC!
This one took a while to find as the GPS did not settle very well under the trees. A tranquil location that is very popular with walkers. TFTC
One of a few caches found today in and around Kerikeri. Enjoyed the river track walk. Took a moment or two to spot this one. #4636. TFTC.
Saw this trail of 5 new caches pop up yesterday avo, but with the grotty weather and other commitments, there was no chance of making a dash for them.
Today was a work day, but WFH does have some advantages, so once the urgent stuff was out of the way, I was able to hit the road just before 2 pm for the hour trip north to Waipapa. The rain was a little on and off still, but forecast to ease later in the afternoon, so I hoped that would happen sooner rather than later.
After catching up with butchie bum at the start of the trail for one joint FTF, I carried on along the trail solo to attempt the remaining four. The rain had stopped by now, so the conditions were quite nice, if very humid..
Once at GZ here it didn't take long to locate the cache and as expected by now, a blank logbook here too, so was happy to sign off for an FTF at 4:18.
Thx FoF for placing this new series of caches and once again bringing me somewhere I have never been before. It's certainly a nice track alongside a nice river that was unfortunately a bit muddy today from all the rain. Now to carry on to the Bypass one and hopefully avenge a dnf from a few years ago.
