Started the day attending an event in Torquay with perfect weather to start the day. Drove along the Great Ocean Road stopping at Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne then onto Mount Disappointment which ended the day with torrential rain and hail storms.Cache:I guess this beach is a local favourite, nicely tucked away. A lot like the cache with its own staircase.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the traditional cache Gus & John #8,198
Caught a few waves here in my younger days.Been quite awhile since i have stood on the sand here.Today was the perfect day to find this cache.Plenty of sun, bring on summer!A nice little hike and the well hidden cache was soon found and logged.TFTC
First came and was thinking how the hell are we supposed to climb that? Then read the super cool riddle in the description and climbed to the cache. A quick and easy find and a super great hide. Love the riddles TFTC find 346 thanks Gus and John for this cache
Tiny bit tricky to find as took the other path which had 15 steps also. Soon found and great views. Kicked a stick getting cache, ouch to be wearing thongs!

Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A family weekend away in Anglesea. Down here to enjoy and cache the area.
Last time I was in Anglesea was Oct 2018 and I had left a few unfound. So back again to claim some more finds in the area and tackle the AdLabs
Wow what a great hidden vista. Well worth the huff n puff to get up here.

Find No. 4320. Found with FUF009 at 9.18am.
Another weekend in Anglesea caching the area and finding caches we didn't get last time we were here (at the end of May). Geodog Penny came with us again and this time FUF009 came along as well. FUF009 hasn't been down to this area caching since October 2018 so he had quite a few to find. Today we made our way to Lorne caching along the way as we went.
After FUF009 worked out and found the multi nearby, we then all headed off in the opposite direction to find this one. Another walk that Geodog Penny enjoyed, down the path and to the base of the hill. Even gave her a quick walk on the beach just a bit further on down the track.
It was Mr Tyred n Cranky and FUF009 who climbed the steep hill to the top the get the cache, while Mrs Tyred n Cranky stayed on the path with Geodog Penny as we thought it would be too steep for Penny to attempt.

It felt really special to find this cache while hiking from Anglesea! Thank you!
We visited Sunnymead Beach today, enjoyed the incoming tide, the beautiful sand and lots of pooches having a great time on this public holiday.
A great find in an unexpected location, even a seat was provided.

Wow what a cool little hidden path! Have been coming here for years and never knew it existed. I guess the owners of the house above like it that way.
Day trip with shashabear9 nearly over. This is to be our last cache for the day before we head home.
Misty rain was falling as we headed of in search of this one. Felt like we were lead up the garden path, quite literally.
The secret pathway took a bit of finding, but was definitely worth it the search when we did find it.
Note to self, well to shashabear9 really, don't sit on chairs when it's raining, you get a wet butt haha

This one is the last one with Eviloffspring. The stairs were definitely hidden away but when you find them and finally reach the top it’s worth it! Such a beautiful view! Note to self when Eviloffspring says to hover over a wet seat for a photo don’t sit on it and get a wet bum. TFTC!
The only cache that I did today, and save for the workers on the track I was all alone. Winter will do that.

On a very cold & windy day,
The poem showing us the way,
A hidden path - yes you say,
It lay in wait for us today,
Fifteen steps for us to count!
We found way more than that amount!
Thanks 0gus5 for placing caches in interesting locations.

So thought I'd get out of Melbourne over Easter and find a few caches, I'd just hit my 1000th cache so thought I can't stop there.
For this trip I visited Aireys Inlet and had a beautiful cottage for 5 days, took some long walks along the waters edge and even ventured into Lorne for an Adventure Cache.
The wife tagged long with me to this wonderful spot. Lots of caches nearby and a great adventure cache as well.
What a great spot to go find some caches.
Thanks for the cache and the hide

Found this cache we did,
Even though the stairs were well hid
The view we did admire
And to the walk we do aspire.

Had to send Miss FNP in for this one. A good hide. Never knew this secret stair was here! Great view. Handy chair nearby ️ TFTC.
While enjoying a trip on the Great Ocean Road today before the storms hit we made the walk to the cache in an area we had never explored before. The weather was warm and muggy so there were many people down on the beach enjoying the ocean but they were unaware of our business as we made our way up to the cache via the secret stairs. An easy find with great views.
Thanks Gus & John for the cache and congratulations on your first placement.

I was sitting in my shoebox of an office when I decided to check my emails as I've been having problems receiving notifications lately. Opened the inbox and I had a bunch of emails that I didn't know where there, this included a handful of new caches that were published today.
I had a quick look through the list to see if any of them were reasonably close to me and was happy to see there was one not that far up on the Great Ocean Road. I put on my shoes, grabbed my gear and off I went on a quick adventure. Ahhhh what a beautiful day to be out and about chasing that smiley!!
I parked at the suggested carpark and made my walk down, then up to GZ. I'm not going to lie, on arrival it felt like I may be walking around on private land, fingers crossed this isn't the case. I was happy to find the log and sign as the [FTF]. It's not a bad view from up here
Thanks for the cache
