Logs
Hi TJAY & RAPTORThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no cache maintenance logged. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
Thought we might have found it, but despite lots of looking, didn't find anything
Couldn't find a tube hanging on any branches. Hopefully have better luck another day
A good search but no luck today. Searched all the trees but didn't find it. Maybe will come back later.
#11,484. I am on a northern road trip to finish off the latest geotour, pick up solved puzzle finals, virtuals, challenges and a sprinkling of other cache types that are close by. After spending the night in Whangarei I have quite a few things planned today before I stop the night in Kaitaia. This was the first cache of the day. Parked around the corner and headed back to GZ. I misinterpreted the hint at first but looking around I spied it a bit further away. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks TJAY & RAPTOR for hiding it here.
Found by two of the junior travelbugs while out with the Guides. Sorry for the late logging, I've just got a list of what they all found. TFTC and trail.
Found the corner. Found the rock. Didn't find any cache. May have been muggled again.
Cache has been replaced and moved to the tree closest to the corner rock. Do not remove top of container will update hint once home
Another one after work to keep my streak going. A full two weeks today. 36 more to go and I've got another ten to fourteen or so easy ones yet to find in Whangarei. Might have to do some trips away in the weekends to lessen the numbers.
I parked in Matipo Place and walked over. Found the rock easily but no cache. Muggled again? Surely this is gz I thought. After walking back and forth a few times I then spotted a long, thin, rolled up, piece of paper on the ground. Turns out it was the log with a clear geocaching symbol on it and names of the previous finders. Such a pity that this cache has been muggled again.
Unfortunately I didn't have a container or even a plastic bag with me so I just placed the paper log under the rock again. It won't last long if it rains.
Thanks for the hide

Headed out this way with the kids to grab a few on the new walkway. Got to GZ and made a quick find. Signed and replaced. pity the original was muggled. TFTC
Replaced the cache that had 3 trackables in it with a bison. Very sad trackables didn't get a chance to fly
One of the great benefits with working from home these days is the ability to be a bit flexible with the times worked. So when there were 4 new caches published this morning, I knuckled down and got all the urgent stuff done and was then able to leave home 50 minutes after receiving the notifications, hoping that I might still have a chance for an FTF.
I had parked up near this one to start the trail, but a quick look seemed to indicate it may be missing. After 3 successful FTFs further along, I checked again here on the way back to the cache mobile and it definitely appeared to be gone, so I messaged the CO. He was very good and was able to replace it within the hour.
After doing a bit more exercise along this nice pathway before heading back home to work, and then very fortuitously finding two more new caches, I made my way back to the cache mobile and was able to make one more FTF on the newly replaced cache, exactly where I thought it should have been. Pity the other one with trackables in it got muggled...
Thx for placing this new cache trail.
