Thanks for your amazing cache Geckoh . I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.Found with Fisha1288 Cheers, Cympull.
After a tricky find at the previous cache this was a nice quick one although we did have to wait for a few passing cyclists so we started chatting about apples and water for a bit. Mrs Coblet had an impressive fall a couple of days ago and her grazed and bruised knee had put our walk in jeopardy. Because of the flat surface it was holding up pretty well but had just started to ache so we knew we should stop soon and turn around. But couldnt resist just a few more. TFTC
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit & doing the things that we want to do we are currently parked up at the Welcome Bay (Tauranga) NZMCA Campsite we decided that we would take our bikes out to the Kaituna Wetland & park up there ride from there to Papamoa & back, have some lunch then walk the Kaituna Wetland Track the cache was easily found, log book completed & replaced had to be a bit careful with lots of muggle cyclists zipping past on a regular basis pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #4,734 for us!
Heading north with tmann421 for a few days. This was day three with plenty of miles for us to cover.Enjoyed the hide hereGreat trail along hereSigned log tm/ww NZTFTC
Good find with woolwood9 on a few days away.*This was the main area for us today - we got a shock with the signs at start (or finish) by P2P 25 where there were barriers and signs saying cycleway CLOSED. However detour took us to access near P2P 11 so we started there. Track is blocked off heading towards the higher number caches on the trail as well.*We enjoyed the trail and good caches for us to visit!SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for the cache. Easy find.
Have been meaning to tackle these two series for ages, and was hoping to knock them off before the end of 2023 to hit our 500, but just didn't quite get there. So, did the next best thing and hit them up on the first day of 2024 instead!12th find for the day today. Excellent coordinates and a good hint meant another quick find here. Thanks for the placement. Really glad to be adding all these smileys!
Out and about with the shoes family. Found by Mr. shoebs. Took longer to bend down, then to open it.A nice quick, easy, find, grab, sign, and flee.TFTC
Enjoying the fine weather and the steady collection of varied caches placed by Geckoh along the cycle way. TFTC
Out on the cycle trail picking up some caches that I require for a personal challenge.
Looks like some kids signed the log.
Cheers for the cache, Geckoh.

13 from 13 and that is us for today, we will save the other caches for another day. Thalami’s for all of the time and effort put into these caches
After the heavy rain thats been in the area there was evidence this had been under water.
In the area today with junior cacher and Mrs stik-a-crane for some RNR, and luckily the weather decided to play ball for the time we were visiting.
Spotted this trail and managed to lock in accommodation reasonably close by, but still decided to drive closer to the trail start......was going to park at the boat ramp, but due to recent heavy rain, that option had been flooded, and no longer an option, so went a little further down the road, set up the bikes, and set off along the trail.....
The cache was all good.

There was a bit of a distraction nearby but trusting the coordinates got a to the right location. TFTC!
I needed a decent bike ride today and I could not ignore this trail any longer.

With the Geotour coming to and end soon Yvettetb and I decided to go on a road trip to collect Tahi and Rua. Of course I had some puzzles at various places to collect and a few special types were added to the list too.
Today's plan was to get a few caches around Rotorua with high favourite points. We then wanted to head up to Tauranga via a few PWGT caches. As it turned out we only got one cache in Rotorua this morning as it was drizzling so we headed north to avoid the rain.
It had turned into a nice day so we decided to walk along here and grab this series. Another quick find at gz which was good. Thanks for the caches along here

While spending my summer holidays in the Bay of Plenty to the east of Opotiki, an unexpected (in a good way) text message from a mate resulted in an impromptu visit to Papamoa. With both of us being unfamiliar with the area and wanting something to do, I suggested we go geocaching. He agreed and I began the online search for local caches. This cycleway trail popped up and we decided to take a walk, attempting to find a few of the caches hidden along it. We parked at the end of Bell Road and began the short walk to the trail.
We had been walking on the trail for what felt like hours. It was a hot afternoon and the sun was high. We had been successful in finding every cache along the cycleway so far, and were determined to keep going. There seemingly weren't too many muggles out and about on this cycleway today. They're probably more sensible than us and decided to stay in the shade.
We soon arrived at GZ after the brief walk from P2P 4. My mate, who is relatively inexperienced when it comes to geocaching, managed a suprisignly quick find on this cache. I'd told him the hint a few moments earlier as we approach GZ, and when we arrived, he quickly noticed something slightly out of the ordinary. We soon had the logsheet in hand.
Replaced as found after signing.

Out with CamCat1 relaxing before the hectic day, quick find along the walk way. Cheers
A nice quick find. I found most of the caches on the trail, but not all. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Today we cruised from Whakatane to Cambridge.. The weather was fine and warm, and the Christmas traffic is stating to build!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Awesome hide. So clever. Found it today but will write in the cache when next out this way. Probably over the weekend. TFTC.
This one took us a while to find but found all good not a soul passed while looking tftc
Got off work at lunchtime and headed out to enjoy the sunny winters day. Cold but not a cloud in the sky. Returned to complete this P2P series. Have driven past so many times and imagined I would return here with a bike but instead had to walk it. Still enjoyable with all the varied hides to break up the walk. Wasn’t looking forward to the flax hides however with the clear hints they were no problem. Took 2 hours to collect the remaining 18 caches. Cache and log all fine here. Thanks Geckoh for all your effort in setting up the series.
Khonig and I have been talking about doing the Papamoa to Paengaroa trail series for a while now... and with the added bonus of completing some puzzle caches along the trail we decided that today was the day. Weather was brilliant... no rain and just enough cloud to keep us from over heating. Between us we had two cars so decided to be strategic about placement of the cars so we only had to do the trail once... thank goodness because we had tired feet by the time we were finished. Thanks so much for all the caches along the trail... a very well maintained and enjoyable experience.

Another nice easy find as we near the end of our walk. Thanks.

This was our second visit to this cache due to the previous DNF. As the cache had been replaced went back for another attempt. This time is was a quick find. TFTC.
Trying not too hang around here too long as had been getting a few suspicious looks from passers-by, don't they know there is a pathway here for caches to be hidden .
Thanks for the placement and the smiley

These cyclists are getting in the way of serious geocaching, but they don't understand. We aren't just hanging around. Thanks for bringing us here geckoh

Needing some fresh air and exercise after a few days if inclement weather and a break from the computer (trying to solve a geckho puzzle), teamed up with Dee+ME. Armed with our bikes and fingers crossed it won’t rain off we went.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Logged with permission. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

Much easier to find when it's actually there. Need a good walk so time to polish off the last of the trail. TFTC.
A couple of cyclists came by while we were retrieving this one and they didn't even stop to wonder why we were off our bikes. We obviously look like we know what we are doing! Cache is all good. TFTC
Ooooh how exciting, a new trail of caches on a cycle path, and in the direction we're going!
Having joined up with mr rattll again, we left Kawerau and headed here. Mrs rattll headed off on the bike and this time it was mr rattlls time to do the dog sitting.
No problems making the find here
Thanks for putting all these caches on this cycleway

Time to get the bikes out and tackle this trail. The first challenge was to navigate our way through all the new housing down Papamoa. We parked down the end of Te Okuroa Drive and hopped on.
Nice easy start out around the pond and on to the trail We have been waiting a long time for someone to set up a trail along here and really looking forward to it
Started looking for this one and and was thinking really, surely not - turned around and had the aha moment TFTC

The iPhone gps began to vibrate as we closed in. A quick find, spotted on approach. Thanks Geckoh and TFTC.

Really glad its on this side of the path...the other is not our favourite plants for caches to be hidden in . Co ords pretty spot on
As much as it might look like Im the 1st to find it is not true. Someone has gotten here first.
Went out during our lunch break (with kimbathelion) in the hope to be FTF unfortunately 2 others beat us to it. A quick find. TFTC
Excellent to see a power trail taking shape along this walkway - it's something we'd long talked about but lacked motivation. I made my way over to gz 3 hours after publication unsure if the [FTF]s were still there - but happy to find that they were. It was pretty close though considering I met Grifter13, kimbathelion and buzzybb on my wander... This was the first fifteen publications of the series and all the hides were all straight forward with good hints, accurate coords and reliable containers. We expect nothing less from the 14 year geocaching veterans - Team Geckoh. TFTC This one I was the most concerned with... muggle visibility is high on this container but for me it's onto the next one.**Early 2015 a group of Tauranga based cachers started a [BOP Geocaching Facebook Page](https://www.facebook.com/groups/GeocachingBOP/).240 cachers currently make up this [Closed](https://www.facebook.com/help/220336891328465#What-are-the-privacy-options-for-groups) group where we organise various geocaching events and excursions as well as share information and friendly banter.
