I visited this Virtual cache as I made my way home from a 4-day caching jaunt around the Yorke Peninsula, Barossa, Adelaide Hills and nearby areas. With no fixed itinerary, I just followed the GPS from one cache of interest to the next, only targeting non-Traditional cache types. The weather has been just perfect for caching and camping and most of the caches were found without difficulty and in good order. Thanks CelicaRose for the cache. And a favourite point from me for a simple Virtual cache with straightforward logging requirements.
Did the Trail Running SA Mt Misery run this morning 15km with 900m elevation, so when I got to the sculpture I was knackered.Had a bike key ring with me.CelicaRose, I found FOX CREEK bike park today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Managed to borrow a bike for 60 seconds for the photo on a perfect autumn afternoon. Wish I was whizzing down these tracks on the bike tonight!
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. ???????????? (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. ??????[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. ???????? Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - ?? Celica Rose ?? [^]??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
400th!!!! Finally reached this milestone - its taken quite a while with a few failed 400 attempts An excellent place for a virtual and an excellent afternoon of mountain biking FollowedTftc (a fave point form me)
Thanks for being virtual, and today is not allowed to be close to the sculpture due to shooting.. see pics FP from me
Was in the general area picking up a few other caches do popped up here for this virtual and a couple of trads.Heres a pic of my road bike, at the top of Mt Lofty from one of my rides..I really need to start getting out on it a bit more TFTC
Visited with Gizmos Gang !! We were going to walk to some of the trads in the park but, being school holidays the area was to busy!! Great views ... thanks for setting up this virtual!!
Completed with CPwanderer who had come prepared with a "bike".A lot of activity here this morning. Great views!TFT virtual CelicaRose
Here we are, on a high hilltop watching the young ones attempt to break some bones nearby! And checking out some new bikes! (Would have loved doing this a few years back )Much thanks for the cache location and views CelicaRose . ---------------- ----------------------Country, Caches and cool company! On the hills roads again, with Jack hiding behind, and Purrfect Di biking and caching along the way wherever we go. (Di rides her bike all over the Barossa!) [^] [^]In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!)) Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! [:o)] C'est fini... For now... ... until next time! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward! 29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be fun funky finding
Today was all about the bike. Headed out early to beat the heat - certainly not the traffic or muggles. I think I had the whole place to myself. Not another car in the car park. So I tried to be arsty with my photo. Remy - my mountain bike - is in the photo if you look hard enough. I did have a bit of paper with my team name on it but even I can't make that out and I know where in the phot it is. [B)]Right, enough of this caching rubbish there are trails to ride. (thanks for the cache)
We had such a good day at fox creek! We took electric bikes so we could ride as many trails as possible and were able to complete all the blues and two of the blacks. Allans orange whip was definitely the favourite trail! Found together with SeeneBMX, thanks for the find
So we rented out e-bikes and had a really good expiernce exploring trails around fox creek, 4h of biking in total, so cool to have a chance to ride here! Greetings from Latvia!Together with MCemzzThanks!
Having some fun with Csaba! and SupaTurtle on the bike trails. Caching along the way. Tra La Laaa
Locus Cache and the Rat ventured up here.Locus Cache asked a couple lads if could borrow their bike for a photo. One of the lads agreed. We took our photos and thank the lad. Tftv
Found this virtual cache when travelling around the Adelaide Hills with The X-Trailers. The Bike track is fab and the views were spectacular. A fav point from me TFTC
This afternoon we visited the Fox CreeknBike Park. This is certainly a very popular area for males - didn't see one female riding a bike. We brought a bike that would fit in our car along with all the other things we are carrying while visiting from Tassie. The attached photo shows Mr y'stassie holding a miniature "snazzy" yellow bike. Thanks CelicaRose for this virtual cache.
Found while out riding on a cool day in Fox Creek. A great bike park with an enjoyable skills park and trails. Snapped a photo in between rain showers. Cheers.
Find #5534 on 5 Mar 2023.

A lovely and peaceful spot up here today and you could see for miles, a nice location for this virtual
Today Courtneyrose_ and I headed to Murray bridge for the afternoon to complete a few walking caches and a few unfound around Murray bridge before diverting through the hills to find a few new caches on the way home, total of 49 for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Out with gridge98 today around Murray Bridge. Took a detour home and did this virtual. What a view! Such a lovely area.
Today was a rather splendid day. Headed out with JJ52 and Allister w for a day of caching.
We headed to Gawler first for a couple of finds and for Allisterw to find Dustin’s cache and then on to the Barossa.
Here we caught up with sir-spectre, mogni, CP Wanderer and gizmos gang to tackle the huge new grape puzzle series and anything in between. Challenge accepted. Allister was up and down ladders, up and down trees and had his pole out on a few occasions too. We had a fun trip around the grapes with all caches found. Yahoo!!
After that we pottered into Lyndoch for a handful of caches and then to fox Creek for fun on our bike.
It was a glorious day with lots of chuckles blue skies and caches found.
How wonderful.
With many thanks to all that placed caches to be found. It was a super day indeed.
TFTC fun find
This was the highlight of my day we have been looking for a small bike to do this cache for a while. Both times I saw one dumped I was in my MX5 so no room so was thrilled when Allisterw said he had found this one. I think I thought I had won the Tour de France

Today I was with allister w and Michells&hound heading to the Barossa to find all of the new grape series. We managed to find a few caches on our way before meeting up with mogni, sir_spectre, CPwanderer and Gizmo's Gang. We also managed to find a few strays in and around the grapes then when we left the others we made our way home via Lyndoch, Williamstown and the Fox Creek bike park. [^]
A fun day was had with lots of different hides, lots of ladder climbing and pole extending. We were lucky with the weather, a perfect day for caching with all the roads dry and all the caches found.
This was one that Michells&hound had targeted for today especially after allister w had found a bike that was easily transported here. I had never been here and would love to see some riders tackle what we thought was a pretty scary course.
Thanks for the cache CelicaRose a favourite.

Rode my bike here from home. Up Stone Hut road. I now officially hate Stone Hut road!
I had plans to ride the Mawson trail all the way to Tanunda but got Mr FF to pick me up and drop me further north because the hill wrecked me. Now safely in Tanunda with a stout in hand.

Found with JJ52 and Michells&hound on a day finding the grapes series and a few others. Great Park but not sure if I would ride many of the trails. Favourite from me. TFTC
Called past with BantamCT for the photo opportunity during a circuit around the Hills. Now off for a walk on the bike tracks before the temperature heats up too much. Thanks for the Virtual cache CelicaRose!
What a fabulous location for the adventurous biker. The trails can be heard calling out to grab a bike and pedal hard. A great virtual cache. TFTC
Whilst friends were here riding I went for a nice walk and done some caching along the way.
I didn’t have a bike with me so I had to be creative
Hopefully my photo is sufficient to log this virtual cache - let me know if it isn’t and I will delete it.

Well it was a lil dark and wet when I visited GZ.... and I hadn't read the cache page to be aware of the extra logging requirement needed in the photo.... so I had to improvise...
Alas the pics aren't that great, but you get the idea...

Freddo came prepared with a two wheeled device. Two wheels equals bicycle. Not so busy on this stormy afternoon.

Mr Tardis was out for a motorbike ride through the hills. I regularly head past this road, so I stopped here today I find this new virtual.
Although my bike had a motor in it, and isn't allowed at GZ, I did manage to bring another bike along with me.
A great location for a virtual.
Thanks for the cache CelicaRose.

Despite being way too old for mountain biking, I love this spot and have been several times since all the post-fire upgrades. It almost has that ski resort feel to it. Great views in many directions. I hope they open a cafe here.
The top station is maybe a 15 km drive from where I live, so as soon as I saw this Virtual published, it was straight to the closet to dust off some Lycra, find a helmet, and rush to the summit. I have several bikes at home but currently none of them are rideable, and also I didn’t have the right vehicle to drag them along with me today. So I grabbed a prop (photo 1), and hit the road.
At the summit, my luck was in, and a friendly young lad let me pose with his bike and took the photo for me. It was a stunning morning for it too; I’m surprised that it wasn’t busier up there.
This was a super start to the day; thanks so much CelicaRose.
