A nice quick and easy find.Definitely no one around at this hour on a Monday evening! Some more well earned caches after a good days walking on the GPTTFTC
Dropped a dozen students up for some abseiling and grabbed this one before shuttling the next group. Thanks for bringing me here.
Found it! This was a nice quick park and grab on our drive back to Halls Gap. The cache was exactly where the hunt said it was and with no traffic, the log was signed, cache replaced and we were on our way. The cache was in good condition. TFTC SL
We are heading from Portland to Halls Gap for the event there this afternoon and as the weather is rather inclement we are only stopping for caches that are very close to the car. This one fitted the bill nicely as we were able to park very near to gz. Happily using the hint it was a very quick find and Diane jumped back into the car to add our name to the log.We waited for the very heavy rain to pass before returning everything as it was. Many thanks The Morris for the cache, with the extremely low cloud and heavy rain the only thing that we could see was the sign for Mt. ABrupt.
After completing the Adventure Lab in Dunkeld this morning we headed off to start our travels in the Grampians. This was the first physical cache for the day and a quick find. Mr Beetle was very impressed with the unusual pen in the cache container! We have only just started our trip in the Grampians but we are already super impressed by the spectacular views. Thanks the Morris.
Found by The Empire + HEmbarking on the journey back to Melbourne from Halls Gap, we chose a scenic route that unfolded through quaint towns and rolling countryside. Dunkeld, our first stop, welcomed us with its charm and historical allure. Nestled at the southern end of the Grampians, Dunkeld is renowned for its picturesque setting, which includes the stunning Mount Sturgeon and Mount Abrupt.Dunkeld's main street, adorned with historic buildings and vibrant gardens, exuded a timeless elegance. The Royal Mail Hotel, a local landmark, showcased not only the town's history but also its culinary reputation, drawing visitors from near and far. A stroll through the Dunkeld Arboretum provided a peaceful interlude, allowing us to appreciate the diverse collection of native and exotic trees. Thanks for the cache The Morris.-M
Waking up to mist rolling in front of the impressive cliffs overlooking our accommodation we slowly packed up and headed back out to cache our way slowly home through the magnificent Grampians. With the rain getting heavier we were able to make a quick find in the logical loc. Thanks The Morris for the placement in such an awesome area.
Camped at freshwater camp over night and made the first for the morning as I head to halls gapThanks for the
Suscoe left home early this morning for a trip to the Western District.
It was a cool day with plenty of cloud and some drizzle at times.
We were amazed by the water sitting in paddocks and along the roadsides.
We enjoyed the countryside and the caching which changed as we headed west with plains, mountains, rivers and green fields.
Thanks to The Morris for this hide.
Some nice views through the trees., Time to head further along the roads

So after some shopping in Horsham, I was on the cache hunt.
Out to Apsley, Edenhope, Harrow and Dunkeld for ad labs. And to pick up the odd drive by cache along the way.
Also had a target cache at Dunkeld to hunt, to assist with some stat's.
Heading home the Hilly way toward Halls Gap.
A super quick park n grab with no one in the area.

Day 18 of our Australia Tour 2023, travelling from Warrnambool first to Port Fairy and on to the Grampians National Park.
Thanks!
Thanks!
After visiting Picaninny and Abrupt, I came down the track to Abrupt carpark, leaving a 5km road bash to get back to my car at Sturgeon walk car park. Not my favourite thing, but unavoidable, and the rest of the route counter-balanced this boring bit... This was a slight break on that road bash, quickly found the cache here.
Thanks for the cache. Hopefully this is the last cache I write 2022 in, though past experience suggests January and February found caches may get the 2022 written in accidentally until I fully realise it is 2023.

This weekend I was heading to the Little Dessert for a couple of celebrations events but on the way, I had a slight detour through a few LGA's that I was needing a few more finds for a certain Whittlesea challenge cache.
A quick stop here as I was driving passed and another in this LGA.
**Thanks to The Morris for placing this cache.**

A trip to The Grampians was the first activity on our son's agenda when he & his partner returned to Australia for a visit after 7 years in the UK.
Today was the day, together we made our way via a cache dotted route to Halls Gap, including a stop here, where we made a quick find and moved on.
Thanks to The Morris for placing caches with include the indigenous translation.

Found on way home from weekend in Budj Bin park and its volcanic sites, Mt Eccles campground was great with hot showers and flush toilets. TFTC
Interesting all the different translations.
I read last night that Gariwerd means 'nose' and 'shoulder', showing the nose tips and shouldered edges. Either way good to see the Traditional owners acknowledged.

How good is a 2nd *FTF* on a beautiful Autumn day. Snuck out on my own today as Mrs Geo has previous commitments. Spotted a couple of FTF caches yesterday and figured I would have crack if they were still available today. After breakfast with Mrs Geo, I made the drive North to capture this one. Always a joy to catch a FTF not to mention the joy of driving in the Southern part of the Grampians. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC The Morris
