WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 57 - Swan Valley Perth Day 1. For my first day in the area, I selected a series of caches out along the Swan valley and got to see some nice vineyards and river views. I even stopped at another cholate venue. I did a few chores in the middle of the day and then went for a few more suburban caches to round out my caching for the day. It was a quiet night at home and it did not rain today.After having a look at the old chimneys and wondering if the venue is ever open to the public, I walked along to this area, as the gate was closed. Nice easy find on our way to the Canberra Mega.

Meandering our way to the airport before flying over the Canberra for a mega weekend of caching and made it a priority to stop here and rectify a previous DNF.Checked the wrong host initially but readjust and spotted the cache soon after heading to the right tree.Thanks neva2old for placing Blue Rock for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 21:23 on 26/3/2024.This is find number 8224 for me.

Teamed up with ullyssia today to look for caches in an area that we rarely get to. We had a great day with a variety of interesting hiding spots and containers. Managed to clear quite a few green dots but there are so many more around...Thank you for this cache neva2old, a quick find by ullyssia.

Was in the area today so took the opportunity to pick up a few caches on my travels. Not sure if this area is only open on race day but folk were parking up all around so I drove in as well and parked right next to GZ Often I get hit with a severe case of cache blindness on hides like this... but thankfully this host wasn't so dense and bushy and a quick find was made No problems here today - TFTC

Parked pretty close. Didnt take long and I had made the find. Headed out after work for a bit a caching. Great to get out and about on this pleasant afternoon/evening. Out and about caching toda. After arriving at GZ and searching, finally found the cache and signed the log. TFTC

Met up with iluvtrekking to grab a few caches in the city and nearby surrounds. After escaping the inner city caching, geo-hubby was relieved to cache in less busy locations. Took a lap to spot it. Thanks neva2old

We joined forces with Richlink today with a plan to clear out a few city caches.
We thought it would be quiet on a Sunday. WRONG! We didn't factor in the myriad of events going on today. Muggle city, very little parking, it was a bit of drop the boys off and drive around the block. At least it was a bit quieter here, Thanks neva2old.

Unfortunately despite our best efforts today we were unable to locate your your cache. We found a cable tie but no cache We will be back.

Unfortunately I was unable to locate this cache today. I will add it to my list and hopefully return soon to claim the prize.

After a nights stay nearby, and foreign territory for me, we made this our first and it was more difficult, technically, than it should have been! Found with no problem, but tricky to get out and trickier to get back in!! Finally job done. Thanks for the hide neva2old.

After a day at the races and staying nearby we decided to grab a few caches on this beautiful morning. This was our first stop for the day and made a nice easy find but more trouble than normal getting the log out but Leega eventually got it. Hard to find small

I had to deliver and collect some items from near the race course so the Better Half and I called in to find this cache between the heavy showers. Although it wasn't actually raining we both still got wet.

Cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.

Not an easy find. Nothing to do with the location. Phone based GPS was all over the place. Thanks for the challenge but I remain clueless about the reason for the blue rock.
