Unfortunately after the trees were trimmed the now exposed toy microwave became well known to local kids. Some vandal had removed the Official Geocache labelled door, so I've removed everything. Such a shame and thanks for visiting and the FPs
Found the micro(wave) but couldn't the micro cache. Girls were disappointed. We had a lovely stay in the park anyway
This area has been completely cleaned up. Replaced the log today, but the cache is a bit exposed now, so don't know how long it'll remain there as it's quite compromised now.
Watched two muggle girls go out of their way to visit the cache.
They took nothing as I hadn't replaced the log at that time.

A cool idea for a hide. We searched everywhere for the log before Isis58 messaged the CO who gave us permission to log. Thanks for the hide Phronimos

No trouble spotting this micro in the tree but then we couldn't find the log. Twiddled everything possible but nothing revealed itself. Checked above and below in case this was a decoy but again couldn't find anything. In the end we sent the CO a message asking if it was hidden else where or if he would like the log replaced. Thanks for the super quick reply. Turns out it was missing and we were given generous permission to log a find. TFTC # 20,314
While out for a walk with Polar Girl and the dogs we did some geocaching. Quick easy find. TFTC!
First find of the day. Took a little bit to spot as I was in the wrong place, but got there in the end. A good hide. Found with Allepousse and the geo-dogs. Tftc
A nice quick find. I had a giggle here so here is a Fav Point! Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I were in Auckland for a few days visiting family, and now we are on the trek home. We left Ohakune @ about 0900 and got into the Wellington camping ground just after 1730. We had at different times during the day, wind and rain but mostly overcast skies. A great day for a cruise.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

ANZAC day, 16:40 a 2 car expedition to the Manawatu with Crystal Fairy, GSEL Barefootguru and Denomynator. most logs signed as broken biscuits or ICY to save space and time. By this point the others had departed, so CF and I continued caching while the light held.
TFTC Phronimos for placing this cache, number 12600 for me. Needed 49 to make sure I qualify for this month's hard level challenge. Will I make it? Stay tuned to find out...

Needed about 60 caches today to make the 100 for April, so went out for a day with BFG, Denomynator, bruzie, GSEL and Infoferret. Managed about 30 only odd today with a few DNF's. Swapped cars at the end to make a few more and got back around 9:15pm after the last handful in the dark. Signed as "ICY".
Not what I was expecting when I spotted this one. Gets a FP for the uniqueness of the other container. Thanks for the cache.

In the Manawatu area for a spot of caching and shopping. We have to fit in as many as we can today as rain is forecasted tomorrow dang it. Good to come along a good quality hide here which made me smile. Nice idea and TFTC.
amazed as to the number of campers parked in here.we soon retrieved cache container.TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… We’re on a big Easter weekend excursion visiting Vikings and anything else in between.
Easter Sunday: There was no mistaking the novelty of this cache. We just wished we could have squeezed around to take a look at the full effect. Took the traveller to move along… Thanks Phronimos. TFTC.

Out in about in Feilding today with xsaveya picking up a cache or two.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley

We were out and about picking up some of the many new caches that have popped up since we started our travels nearly a year ago.
The clue wasn't obvious until I was right at gz, which was perfect for evading those muggles.
Thanks for putting this unusual container here

Initially I was thinking of pohutakawa flowers as being the red amongst the green. However, I understood the hint as I searched. Such a great container and well hidden.
Out with Itchyfeet2020 finding 50 caches today for the DGSc challenge in the West Coast. Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Phronimos.

NZ_B and I are spending the day around the Fielding area with a goal to get over 50 caches in a day for a challenge. Our journey led us here. Great hide, luv the official container, very smart looking. Here's to the year of the hide series, thank you.
A nice quick find here. All quiet in the area.
Thanks for placing the cache Phronimos.

A day trip up to the Manawatu today to keep the numbers ticking over. I came to the park to do the Ad Lab. A nice quick find here. Made me smile as well.. TFTC
we set out at a respectful time in the morning and headed to Feilding to locate a few of the newer caches that have been published over here . After a disappointing start at Johnston park it was warming to locate these two newer caches in timona park as well as tour the park to complete the lab cache there. This nicely constructed and all the content are dry etc . i took nothing and left nothing . This is worth a fav point from me . thank you for this newer cache here in Feilding .
Had the day off work so headed out for some caches. Always enjoy visiting this park particularly when there are some new caches to be found. Loved the effort gone into this micro. Happy to add to the favourites. Bonus was finding a trackable. Thanks Phronimos.
Last cache today on our mission to clear out Feildings caches. The container is very bright and found fast!
I wrote in the log and concealed it carefully back as found,
TFTCSL Thanks Phronimos for this Traditional cache!

In the area for a newly published cache and walk in the sun

As is the way with geocaching, my plans for today did not go as expected. My original plan was, if my afternoon freed up as it did, was to head to Fielding for the afternoon and I had a bunch of caches that I had listed and researched ready for finding (including this one). However, I was drawn over to Palmerston North chasing a newly published cache that I initially could not find and then later did.
However, once I had done all I needed to do over there, I still made my way here as I really needed to find this specific cache, the first in what has become an amazing and fun series throughout the year (and the only one in my YOTH list that was unfound).
Cache was located, safe and dry, as expected. Thanks to the CO for placing and maintaining this cache.

We picked up the kids from school and set out for an evening of adventure.
The kids set off from the car park with the hint as there only clue.
After a few false starts Miss 7 soon spotted the cache. Not exactly what we were expecting. But the cache was soon signed and put back to keep turning on its plate.

Swooping up all the low-hanging fruit, so to speak, and back into Timona Park for a cache for the many-th time. A nice hide here though and 3 dog-walking ladies looked amused as I emerged here, and a gain a few more times chasing the Ad Lab stages. Cheers Phronimos.
After a trip up to Ohakune yesterday, and mapping out my latest Ad Lab I wasn't sure what todays weather delights would be. A promising forecast this morning was enough to encourage me out onto the trail (it doesn't take much!) and I was rolling into Feilding not much after 0900 to knock some of those caches off. Thanks to all COs for their listings.

#13,420. Park, walk and grab on Simon Street / Timona Park Road in Feilding. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find. Great hide. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.Favorite point added for the hide.Thanks for placement, and for bringing us to this site, and .T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e..M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.
Working our way towards Palmerston North Airport, killing time before our flight. Much easier find than expected here, and what a great cache container; tftc
Stopped for this cache whilst wandering around Timona Park doing the Ad Lab. Nice day for it! Found this one reasonably quickly. #5174. TFTC.
Found this cache and the adventure lab in Timona Park before going for lunch in Feilding with Mrs Popmac. Thanks Phronimos for the cache.
Was on the way to the adventure lab cache nearby so why not pick up a traditional as well. Normally tree hides and I do not get on but this one was clever and easy! Nice park. TFTC.
Thanks for your amazing cache Phronimos. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Found with Fisha1288
I'm back around Palmerston North for a few days so will check out a few more caches while I am here.
Cheers, Cympull.

A nice sized cache to finish off this stint of caching, as it was time to pick up Junior from her swim meet. Tftc.
A quick drive to Feilding and back to pick up a trailer gave us a bit of time to find a few caches. Nice easy find. SL TFTC. Loved it

Couldn't miss grabbing up this Year of the Hide cache whilst we were in the area. Fortunately it was a nice quick find and we were on our way again. TFTC

Caching on foot while GAR has the car in Foxton for dog trials and I found myself near this park so had to stop for this one. It was a quick find once I started looking near where my GPSr told me GZ should be. A bit of a different hide - thanks for placing Phronimos!
Super sharp co-ords had me on the spot wow!!! you can't miss that even ablind okd guy like ...cool enjoyable cache. Many thanks Phronimos
We have parked up for the night nearby. Spotted a "new" cache in the park. A late afternoon stroll here. Had to laugh at the container and size. Dinner cooked tonight? As we headed back we spotted the CO walking his dog and on a mission. Thanks for the placement Phronimos
Very creative! I took my said and she loved it thanks for the amazing person who hid it
had gone for a walk with dad and came past here in the dark so flicked on the light not expecting what I found and made the find with ease + fav point
A quick easy find of a fun cache which gets a favourite from us. We once found a "micro" cache in Australia which was a full size version. TFTC
Easter Monday, and that dreaded back to work tomorrow feeling starts to kick in. But luckily for me I have a fantastic cure for the return-to-work blues, geocaching
But where to go? Ahhh, how about having a crack at avenging a couple of previous DNF's?
And with that in mind, I set off this morning to head to Feilding. It was a beautiful day so the drive up was pleasant and before I knew it I had avenged both DNFs and was looking at what else I could find. This cache had been released since I was last up here, so it was worth a walk over to Timona Park to look for it.
And there it was, exactly as described. Had a chuckle as I signed the log and placed everything back as found (minus the TB which I kept) before snapping off a photo for myself (it would be too much of a spoiler to add it to my log). Then it was time to give it a very small wave and walk on back towards the car.
Thanks for setting up this cache. FP given for the fun element of this cache

One found to restore KingSportS faith in caching! Last few not found! No TB inside.
Nice quick find. Very quick park and grab. Very busy area so some stealth was needed. Dropped a trackable here also. Tftc
Dipping TB here to add miles and location as I've had "Cache Tramper" geocoin in my collection for five years, thinking it was a Pathtag.
We needed a bit of a break today and what better than a drive through scenic countryside on a beautiful autumn day with a bit of geocaching added in. We went to our favourite rural village of Kimbolton and on into the Oroua River Valley and then back home via Feilding.
We stopped for this cache on our way home. It was a straightforward find and a charming container which gets a fav. It did seem though that someone might possibly have tried to pull it off its anchor and there were a couple of names in the log that don't match any Found logs so possibly not geocachers - we hope it stays in place all right. We then enjoyed a drive on through this park before heading to Kitchener Park for a lovely walk. TFTC

Coordinates derived from two separate measurements of 100 samples using Garmin 600 GPS. Map is correct so I have no idea why finder’s coordinates are showing 228m out.
Just getting ready to head out the door for a ride around the block when I hear in the background there has been a new cache published, so a quick look on the map to see where it is hidden,I know the vicinity well , so I head in the general direction.
On arrival I check the phone for distance to from the cache ,it tells me I am 255 metre's from the cache so I walk up the street the number gets higher I walk down the street it gets higher , I look at the map and find I am a lot closer than what the distance is telling me.
I start the hunt and after about 10 minute's I finally locate the cache, the next thing I wonder is am I first to find ,so I negotiate my way into the container retrieve the log open it up and yes I am (FTF) at 7pm and my phone says I am 228 metre's away plus or minus 4 metre's. ( the placement on the map was what got me to the cache I think the full moon had something to do with the distance being miles out.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley.
Took nothing left nothing replaced as found.
