I found it after a while but I'm new and also then dropped it and found it again in the grass after a long time and put it back in original spot
Saturday noon, just walking around Artarmon and decided to do a geocacheCouldnt unscrew it though
finding the cache from the hiding spot was fairly easy. finding it from where i dropped it in the grass was significantly harder, especially as it was actually pearl hour when i was out and a setting sun was no help at all
found and returned safely, Tftc!!

Headed to the north shore today for parkrun at Willoughby, stopped on my way from the train station at this one, bloody nanos. TFTC
A straightforward find here today. All good with cache and log. Signed as MB to save space. Thanks!
I took a trip up to Artarmon today to find some of the caches there. This was the first of them; a straightforward find. I think I smudged the log tape as the pen I used leaked a bit. Sorry!

Found with shaneo58, doing some around the Artarmon Area, We came down in the train from Newcastle, had a half hour delay at Hornsby, and finished up in this nice neighborhood. It took a while for the GPS to settle down, then a quick find.
Signed log and Cache replaced as found.
**Thanks For The Cache** AussiePam.
This makes the 1st cache of 10 for today making a grand total of 4042 at 11:04AM on this Thursday the 30th of March in the Year 2023

Today my target cache was the Lane Cove virtual. After finding it and a few others, plus coffee with my cousin, I still had time to spare for more caching so headed to Artarmon as there were a number in a small area. Almost missed this one as it’s so tiny and in the dirt. Now I know how to pronounce this street name . Tftc
Was just on a run and my hands are too sweaty to open this! Tried for about 10 minutes but could not log it now. Took a picture with my trusty orange pen to prove I found it if needed, please let me know! Marking it as found for now. Love the street name and info, pearls are so pretty
TFTC,
Out caching with Liz and Bruce to help them out with Sydney LGA's.
A quick find.

I walked from Artarmon Railway Station to find this cache and claim a find in another council area; Willoughby Council. I found caches in three council areas today. This is good for some challenge caches. It was a quick find, and the cache and log were good. Then back to the station and onto Central Station. TFTC AussiePam.
Needed to boost our finds on this date, so after lunch nearby, we went for this one.
It was soon found, and we noticed we were TTS (Third To Sign) in the new log.

Came up from Canberra to meet a friend I haven't seen in 30 years .....aaand of course had to get a couple of caches.
Love the Jakaranda trees. We don't get them in Canberra.

The weather forecast was for rain, but fortunately it remained dry for my Saterday afternoon walk.

Left the house before 6am this morning to drop the geodog off for a dental procedure at the vet in North Willoughby.
This means I have the whole day to pass, geocaching, until I can collect her. I hit the pavements.
Interesting spelling of the street name, took a moment to find this black pearl.

Out with MummyPenny on our way to lunch and we stopped here. Saw nothing but felt something. Thanks AussiePam.
Found with the help of the hint and previous logs. Thanks for the colour-coordinated and clever hide. Coords are good here
Who doesn't love pearls. Friends must know I like as they seem to give me some too, admittedly most fake rather than real but it is the thought that counts.
I found where i thought it would be from first guess, but it took me a few looks around the object to actually spot that sneaky cache there. Lucky no one around today.

Out for an early morning cycle up to Chatswood and return picking up a few unfound cache. Only 5c this morning brrr . At this one I found myself looking at another object however soon realised my error and made the find. Tight tight TOTT required here. What a lovely area, and peaceful early in the morning. Thanks for bringing me here AussiePam and placing this cache. A few hills but an enjoyable cycle #1468

Very wet today so glad this was a quick find and that I could park right next to GZ. TFTC. Nano in good shape.
Was on my way to Chatswood on Maisie, my little red scooter, and the ‘colour’ caches were not far off my route coming and going. Both on appropriately named streets! Made my way to GZ and spotted the likely location. It’s well hidden and tricky to spot but hands helped here. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

Streak Day #3261 - Out thi way with Dave8153 for a quick find to keep streaks alive. TFTC
Found this one today and it was a cold cold windy day. Thankful for the hint as it really helped once my GPS put me in the right spot. I think the satellites were a bit slow today as I was making the find. Unrolled the roll and rerolled the roll and both were difficult due to having cold hands. Thanks for the pearler, AussiePam
Today frazeydaze and I decided to catch up with the CO's colour caches. After a dnf at the first cache things went smoothly for the next five caches and then the day ended as we were unable to find suitable parking at the next four caches. Teach us to venture out on a sunny Sunday after a period of rain.
We quickly got our hands on the caches that we found. Thanks for placing this cache AussiePam.

Oldmorty spotted the cache which I’d overlooked.

Today we headed into the city on a 280 bus and T9 train to visit the Museum of Sydney for their “How to Move a Zoo” interactive exhibition (moving of the zoo from Moore Park to Mosman in 1916), then walked down to the Opera House for a Traditional cache at the Man O’War Steps. We then walked across the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a Letterbox cache at Milsons Point, then caught a T9 train to Artarmon for a Traditional cache, and then a T1 train to Chatswood and a 280 bus back to home. This was the 3rd of 3 finds for the day.
We were now on our way back home, but stopped off at Artarmon Railway Station for some pearly colourisation. Took the southern railway underpass which, appropriately for a pearl hunt, indicated it was the way to "water - journey to the sea". We knew we were in the right place as we turned the corner into the street, and soon arrived at GZ for a nice quick find. WOW, we found a rare black pearl ! Signed the log and then replaced as found. Looks like others have been here today ahead of us.
Thanks AussiePam for yet another colour (pearl) from your Colour Coordinated Cache Collection.

Another reason why I hate nanos! I can never get the log out easily or unwind and rewind them.
But I liked the puzzle and the find was easy enough. Got the Ellery Hanley (aka The Black Pearl). TFTC

I'm not a number chasing geocacher, but I do like the my numbers to align so I needed to find a cache today to sort that out.
With that in mind last night I decided to abandon my usual Wednesday morning tennis and do a walk instead grabbing some caches along the way. With everything planned I went to bed.
However the weather gods had other ideas and when I got up this morning it was already pouring.
I watched the radar and was the rain was clearing, so I waited and waited and ...... the radar was lying, it was getting heavier!
Now I had actually been to this cache before. When it was published I saw it and noticed it was within walking distance of my dogs groomer and thought good something to do while they are having their hair cut in a couple of weeks. However when it had not been found after a couple of hours I decided to come over and see if the FTF could be mine.
As I was parking my geomobile I saw Azzepious making the find. I did go over and check the spot (which helped in the torrential rain this morning).
So now to today.
With torrential rain not letting up I put on my walk on the beach clothes and came over. Not as easy as planned as the Pacific Highway was flooded and so was Burra Street, both between home and here. I parked beside GZ and grabbed the cache. OK so the last finder had put the lid back on so tightly that with it being wet I could not open it! Would I have to go home and get some tools??
Finally it began to budge and all of a sudden the log popped out and went ....... who knows, somewhere in my geomobile.
Much searching later, really it was worse than looking for a geocache, I found it!
Finally log signed and cache returned.

On my commute back from CBD I decided to alight the train at Artarmon for a stroll through this leafy suburb in search of the elusive pearl.
Once close, I first looked at the wrong object but after a quick glance on my phone screen I moved the required 12 meters to another object. I guess my confusion was caused by the dullness of being back in the office, or was it still the effects from the change in daylight saving and quick fading of daylight? Please give me daylight saving all year round!
The black pearl was finally spotted and after peeling out the sheet my initials were inked onto the roll of honor!

#8782 (1 of 5 today - including 2 Adventure Labs)
I am terribly behind in my logging. It's getting close to two months since I regularly reported on the caches I've found. YIKES!
In this time only the Adventure Labs found and my First2Finds have been written up - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
But I've been busy finally getting ready to move into our new house - now in and I'm still coming to terms with the extra room/rooms!
But I did still try to find time to cache on the days that my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day demanded I find something. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, but somehow I expect that will eventually prove too hard as I have to travel a good distance if I want more than a cache a day.
Anyway. thanks to all the CO's who are getting short shrift from my generic logs. I hope to eventually get back to them and flesh them out, but no promises.
I've found some fun Traditionals and solved some interesting, but not impossible puzzles. And Multis and other cache types have been grabbed where possible.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Anything interesting from my day will be added here - don't hold your breath.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Anything specific to this find will be added here - really, DO NOT hold your breath.

Had I checked earlier, I would have had the perfect opportunity to grab this one straight after it published.
Fortunately after I completed my first medical appointment today, I had just enough time to run over this way.
I could hardly believe that the cache remained unfound this long after publishing, but when I got the CIH and opened it, the log was unmarked!
Signed in the FTF spot, and moved on in elation to my next appointment.

It was the hour of Azzepious (Congrats!). I was 2TF a little too late, about one pearl off the pace I think. I was busy chasing down things brown and white, but Brown+White doesn't =Pearl. TFTC AussiePam
