TFTC JENPETEH, The H,s , South Africans living in Australia GeoCaching our way around the globe and loving it
Thanks for the challenge, found it on a beautiful afternoon (eventually)... Beginners ah!
Spent a lovely afternoon here with overseas visitors, & managed to pop up & quickly grab this cache, on our way along the beach. Thanx ftc
Havnt been down this road for years, was wondering if I would get a park at the bottom , yup , I can squeeze in there . No one about really , all out in there boats .Nice find in a pleasant location, thank you TNLNSL
For the first time in a long time, we were able to join in on a Team SEAC adventure. This one was to help one of the members finish off their D/T grid and also for other members to reach a great milestone. This also helped our LiveKiwi knock off some of the cells in their D/T grid, which they probably wouldn't have done in such a hurry by themselves. So, we headed to the North Shore for our first caching foray for the year. While Mr. Kiwi was off conquering the tor, Mrs. Liver Bird, who is not up for such activities, stayed behind on the beach. While there, she saw that this cache was only a stone's throw away from her, so she and Mrs. NZT went off to retrieve it. A quick easy find and the log was signed without any muggles catching on to what was happening.TFTC
This was a team SEAC outing that was a while coming, with various life events happening all around we finally managed to land on a day to complete Keylevs DT grid and as luck would have it we were also due to hit our 8000th cache find today as well! We brought the geodog along who enjoyed running with the kids and exploring the tracks and slips and finding a dead fish to roll in(smelly dog!!!) While Max and I waited for MrNZT to complete Torubble, I had a look for this cache, only to find efficient team SEAC members had already signed this one in. TFTC!
Out with some of my buddies from Team SEAC to assist Keylevs complete her D/T rating grid! A great day out exploring the area and getting more smiles on my map....and of course come good laughs with friends.
Today was the day to finally close my D/T gaps. We had planned this day a number of times but for various reasons we had to cancel it but finally this time all the stars aligned for the group. Additionally NZT were super close to a big round number and HeMaLuDy were not quite as close but a do-able in a day big round number too so who knew what the day would bring! Guaranteed as always with a Team SEAC (South East Auckland Crew) day out there would be laughs, tears (usually from the laughing but not always), likely ice cream along the way etc etc.The cache close to this one was another 'target' cache today but first we had to find parking. Three of the cars managed to park right here so whilst the last one went a little further afield (after dropping passengers off) the group wandered over here to fill the time. Nice quick find and all ok here. Thanks for the cache.
Today was a day when a few members of Team SEAC managed to align their calendars and get to achieve a few milestones. A fantastic day of fun, laughter, adventures and friendship.A nice quick find here before heading off to the nearby Tor for another adventure.
Found with FriwiNZ yesterday but forgot to log. FriwiNZ found this one because while I was searching a decently large spider jumped on my hand. There were lots of people swimming here on a warm summers evening. TFTC
This was another beautiful evening at the beach after work. I hope the weather stays like this it makes for perfect evenings. Not too many people on this secluded part of the beach in particular at high tide. TFTC
Gorgeous spot for a summers day. Much quieter than bearby beaches. Nice easy find from description, thanks.
Was down at torbay today looking for a location to hide another cache, I plan on making a pretty devious one. Saw a few dnfs nearby so might as well gone to have a look. This one is still there, and everything is well and fine.
Didn’t bring pen so I took a picture if that’s fine. Nice and easy spot to come down to on low tide. Great spot, thanks G2
I have been living here for 5 weeks and only just taken the time to search for this ( 60 mere meters away) but that’s stress for you hopefully I will do better over the next 5 weeks…. Tftc
This was our last cache of the day before heading home. The tide was out and we were able to make our way along the foreshore to gz. A large crowd was playing the Kubb stick game near gz but they were engrossed in the game, and took no notice of us as we climbed the stairs and made a quick find here. Thanks for the smilie
M24: lucky me, not a muggle in sight.
Looking at description, I was confident that it was there, just reach and bingo! Nice and easy, log is signed, all is good. TFTC.

Explicit hint means you can’t go wrong. Slowly making our way up the coast finding the newish caches
Brief visit in Torbay on Sunday morning before attending the Event at G2 HQ. Straightforward with the hint. TFTC
Set out today to find some of the more recent caches on the shore as well as a couple of Lab's along the way. Caught the bus down to Deep Creek Rd, and headed along to this cache, nice easy find with very few muggles around, TFTC
Haven't found treasure forever. First one in a long time. My boys found it while I used the new little girls room. Thanks G-2. So glad it's one of yours.
Was with the Easter bunnies, who are now slowly making their way back to the event, via this newly published cache.
Fancy toilets, and fancy cache too
Have not really visited this beach before, but spent most of the day here. Some of the muggles were swimming! not warm enough for me, but if there was a hot tub, I would be forced to check it out
A fun find, and adventure today, thanks G-2 for the hide

Supernanny had a meet up event here in Torbay at 11am, but I thought I'd come an hour earlier for a chin wag with the C.O and supernanny. I had just done a mystery puzzle cache 2km away from the beach when new notifications popped out at Torbay! Whoo hoo!! So I rushed off to my van and drove to Torbay.
Just as I parked up the van, I spotted merlot, SethRaven and nette walking very fast towards me! I jumped out of the van, caught up with them at Helen's cache by the stream. Then another mad rush and made it here a good 20m behind nette and merlot who are very fast walkers. (I did have my jandals on, but I still wouldn't have kept up). But at least I got {FTF} here though, great timing today!
Thanks G for the new cache today and your company later on. Great fun at Helen's event, and many more people will log this one. Group {FTF} with SethRaven, merlot58 and nette1234. Now to head to the event.

After finding the first 2 as joint FTFs this morning . . . . . . Merlot58 & Nette1234. said "theres one more, lets go" and suddenly we are off . . . . . this time up the hill . . . . . turn right . . . . . . more up the hill . . . . . . into a walkway . . . . . . myself & Gorby bringing up the rear . . . . . . "not far now" says Merlot58 (she is so fit!!!) a slight MORE up and then down (which means up heading back) and we arrived just in time to see the reveal . . . . . . it has been such a long time since I got an FTF . . . . . . thankyou ladies and Gorby for encouraging me to keep going to get these this morning.
Now we are off to join others gathering for SuperNannys Easter event at the nearby park. TFTC

Wandered a long the waterfront to get to this one while others tackled the tor. Mr KC made the find here and another great spot to visit. Thanks
Hoping for a hat trick Gorby, SethRaven, Nette and myself headed up the hill and on to this one. A nice quick easy find was made and we were greeted with a blank log for our 3rd joint {FTF} of the morning. Now it's time to head to the event which was the reason we were here
I am taking the elder future finder out for a driving lesson today, which means he gets to drive me to the nearby geocaching event. We stopped to collect a couple of caches along the way. This was the last find before the event. We had to invent some parking here and I dashed to make a quick find lest we block someone in. Found in the second spot I checked. Cheers for the cache placement!
Found at the event while watching the intrepid Easter bunnies climbing up the tor. Tftc
Found this today while walking back from the Tor Event Expedition with the Energiser Easter Bunnies who had scaled the nearby heights .!
Thanks G-2 for your new caches today!
Added to the Event for sure.

We attended the Wonderful Waiake Beach Event today, and had noticed 4 new caches were published close by. Found this one in the company of Team Welsh. Walked around the beach to this one, which also gave us a good view of the folk climbing up the Tor. The cache was nicely tucked away, and we discovered it was also close to some convenient and modern toilets. Perfect! TFTC.
Found with the Easter Bunnies while attending supernannny's event at Waiake Beach. Just after the group attempt on Tor-ubble we headed over here for this cache and made a quick group find. Thank you G-2, and it was great to see you again today.
Filled with buzz and excitement after just finding the nearby "Torubble" cache, the large group of us wandered on over here in search of this newly published hide. Not sure why but I was in the front of the pack and was the first one to reach GZ, so it made sense for me to find the cache. Luckily it was a nice quick find and we signed yet another log as Team Easter Bunnies TFTC G-2!
8050 On the way back from Torubble we venture a little to grab this new cache. Signed with a group name to save space on log sheet. Thank you for the placement.
This one was found with the group Team Easter Bunnies on the way back from climbing the Tor. I was still buzzing from climbing the Tor and enjoying chatting away as we headed back to Suppernanny's event. A quick find by the front walker.
It was not a big numbers day like my last Auckland trip. Just a few special caches today as I was keen to get back and spend some time with the family later in the afternoon. 4 caches today - my 50th day streak achieved at a fun event, an ftf and the Tor D/T for my grid meant it was a great day. Thanks G-2 for placing these new caches to give us some more adventures for the day
