Out enjoying a walk around Balclutha this afternoon, no problems find the cache here, TFTC
Today I went for a wee bike ride around the oxbow in the river just to the east of the town.I initially started looking in the wrong corner but got there in the end.Cheers for the cache, Natalie247.
Google maps was quite useless at getting me to the right parking spot. I had to resort to manual navigation, and then walk the last 135m. TFTC.
After a fun weekend at the Dunedin Mega we're driving to Invercargill today for a few days geocaching down there. I need some Southland finds for a challenge and I'd solved a lot of puzzles down here that are long over due for collection. I'm also working towards a 200 and a 300 South Island minute challenge. We had a full days geocaching planned for the way down but yet again I found another bunch of easily solved puzzle caches. My buddy kindly adjusted our plans and we had a lovely scenic drive down the coastal route. I'd solved this puzzle in October 2022. Like Agazo says the road maps to get us to the nearest parking location were wrong. The hide wasn't quite where I'd have expected it either but it didn't take long to check out all possible gzs. Thanks for another puzzle
Puzzle solved at home ready for our trip south to Mega. Out with caching friends today. Hunchback made us smile. Thanks for this cache Natalie247.
Found after a short walk and there was a large school group walking past nearby
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we were staying in Balclutha we had looked at this one yesterday and worked it out yesterday evening I went for a walk first thing this morning & basically walked straight to it the character on top of the cache container is looking a bit worse for wear, so I replaced it as best I could, after I had signed the logbook cache replaced as found were pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,221 for us!
Nice wee puzzle thank you Natalie247. And an easy find today. But the glue on the lid of the outer container is starting to give way and it may well part from its tether shortly.
Beautiful day to be by the river. Came to Balclutha today specifically to do the riverside trail loop caches - my first time walking this trail, enjoyable walk, found lots of potential fishing spots for another day. Solved this one ages ago, good to cross it off the to-do list. Quick easy find - container embellishment was a surprise. Lovely view down the river. Tftc.
Day 4: The Road to Balclutha Todays agenda was to get down to Balclutha where we are staying on the way to the Catlins. The route on the beautiful day took us through the beautiful Central Otago and Teviot regions, where we took in the landscapes and found quite a few caches along the way. It was a long drive but we really enjoyed the little highlights along the way thanks to the ALs and caches placed by everyone. (End of the cut and paste bit)Heres the specific log for this cache: Final cache of the day, and this one was indeed a cute one. I do appreciate the thematic connections here and the final cache container. All good here, and thanks for a cool welcome to Balclutha! TFTC!
Nice quick solve and find - can't get better than that! Great use of these odd toys you have collected along the way. TFTC # 20,485
Solved this some time ago when it first came out and today when in the area it was a lovely walk around the river with AlpiSteve and

I did the other caches on the other side of the aerodrome and thought I could just keep going in my little rental car. My wife was getting very concerned and we had to turn around but I did have a good look just to make sure. So we had to drive the whole way back around... By which time I had to find this one.
Interested to see all the birds nesting on the sandbar in the middle of the river with the mighty Clutha rushing past on both sides.
I was saving this for a mystery dot day but needed a walk before lunch on my way home. Brrr cold. Easy find and just got back as the heavens opened. Time for lunch and Expresso's to warm me up.
Down for work so time to cache a bit. Did as many as time allowed.
Did the loop walk around the airfield collecting caches along the way. Thanks for the mix of puzzles and trads to keep things interesting.
Fascinates me how the river turns back on itself.

#22037. We had a number of puzzles to find in Balclutha on our way south. Quick find here. TFTC.
We were able to drive close to GZ (though it was a pretty bumpy road so took it slowly), and managed to make the find before a muggle, who we could see in the distance, got to GZ. Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC.
Solved a few at home to prepare for a loop walk. Beautiful morning down this way. Thanks.
Thanks Natalie247 for the puzzle cache , enjoying solving and finding today. Have been out to place several times for caches now but always enjoy a visit. Quick find once in the right spot.
This figure was known as E... the dipsy by one of our young relatives. Kia ora for the cache.
A nice quick find. LAst one in Balclutha today. Thanks for placing your cache.
Time for another road trip for Ms_KR and KR, so we headed south toward Otago. We cruised through from Lawrence to Lake Waihola today, With some biking and some walking too. A day of changeable weather, though not enough rain to slow us down!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

When it looked like we might see the sun after a week of rain, I suggested a trip to Balclutha to drop off a parcel (and do some caching of course). Will be back to walk the track when the wind is not as cold as today.
Tftc great puzzle…! Took us a few minutes and learning to work out coordinates. Learned something new tftc enjoying our walk
The first time I came across this type of puzzle I was unaware of the short cut way to solve it, resorting to pen and paper. That was followed by a bike ride to Allen's beach to find that the ocean hag gobbled it up. For this one it was a quick paperless solve and the find was in the second spot that I looked at.
The puzzle was straightforward and the wee fellow was a quick easy find. A favourite from us. TFTC
Re-logging for my purposes.
I took a much-needed caching trip down south with WilbyWarrior today to snag a bunch of caches in Balclutha, and a few elsewhere too. The pair of us continued around the river bank with the weather getting worse and worse... but that didn't stop us! Found this one pretty easily, a very Natalie hide. Cheers!

Nice easy puzzle to solve for this one. Grabbed it as we were passing. Found with CJ-Curry

When I did the Flock of Pigeons cache nearby a few weeks ago I commented that there wasn't a bird to be seen. Not so today. The gravel bank in the river was covered in seagulls. So was the Mt Cooee landfill on the other side of the river. TFTC.
