It was one of those stupidly hot summer days today but I had some time available and I was keen to go find some caches. I also still had my bike in the car from yesterday so I decided to come and ride this little section of bikeway. It didn't take long before I was drenched in sweat but somehow it seems much cooler when you are zooming along on a bike than when you are walking in the heat.I did the 3 caches in reverse order so this was my third find. It was very quiet at this section of the bikeway with the heat keeping everyone away. I was sweating a lot by the time I got to the top of the hill so it was nice to have a rest on the seat in the shade. As I sat there I looked around and soon spotted the cute little cache. Thanks for another clever hide Alisnan and for the lovely little series. I have enjoyed my nice short ride along the bikeway today.

11-Sep-23
When I first arrived at this one there was a loved up older couple on the seat a few meters away from GZ. I decided not he best time to look for this one.
I headed off and completed the other two in the series then returned a while later for another go.
When I arrived back the coast was clear so I could set about the task at hand.
After a quick search I soon spied the little bugger and added my name to the log.

It was suggested that we get the bikes out Saturday morning and head off on the Ithaca Creek bikeway, joining up with the Kelvin Grove section. A soccer ball was back packed for some use along the way.
Quite a few people out this morning and of course I had spied a couple of caches to try to find on the return trip. This was the first that we tried today. I had the youngest helping me with the search and quite quickly we spied the container. Easy to miss. We took the log sheet over to the nearby table and signed in space number 24. Cache was replaced, and we confirm all is good here with this cache. Thanks very much for the hide Alisnan. Cheers

18-Nov-22
I was in the area chasing Bluey and then I still had time to do some more caches and headed to this little series.

I parked close to this one and strolled over to check it out. A bit of scratching around and then I spotted the sneaky blighter.

Now off to find the other 2.

Muggle65 and l came out for another lunch break cache. We drove to where we parked last time only to discover that there was not a space to be had. We hoped we would not be long so parked in front of the gate. Thankfully we found a lovely dry cache quite quickly and got away without a ticket. Thank you for the fun

Wondered about the barbed wire in the slope.

On uber-duty (again) tonight - so with a couple hours to kill in the area figured time to knock off a few more of these newer caches in this area. GPSr was spot on, and the hide 'obvious' which made this nice and simple in the dark.

Thanks alisnan for entertaining me at this location.
Cool *{Overall find #10642}* Cool

This new series of caches are the target for me today…

Having met the lovely CO at a recent Hatzofff event, and learnt that extra “n” was there for a reason, I knew these caches just had to be found… if for no other reason than to say thanks for putting more caches onto the playing board for us to find…

Thanks to spot on coordinates it was a quick find… I did enjoy reading about the local history…

Thanks alisNan for bringing me here today…

Out for a short solo run this afternoon. I parked at the end of Bishop Rd, then walked along the bikeway to these 3 new caches.

There was grown-up and a little one in the park, but I explained why I wasn't being weird Wink and was pleased to make a quick find. TFTC, alisnan.

I dont know how i missed these three caches when they were published and only 1.6km from my work. I did spot them today and thought it would be nice to ride there after work. So i left STARS and rode along Herston rd to picot street and there were a couple of big hills that i zoomed down and then struggled up. Once at GZ i got a nice surprise. what a lovely little park this is and it was not long until i spotted the cache. How nice for the people to live near here to have this little private park. THanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Out for a short loop over to Enoggera Creek and then home via the Northern Cycleway (just a 25 km round trip). First call was coffee and cakes at that very great Italian Bakery Gerbino's a tad upstream from here and then exploring the new cache offering along the bikeway..

Now if this one gets flooded heaven help the rest of us.

Onwards and upwards. Friends of mine bought a place near Enoggera Ck last year and sure enough, lost one of their fences in the recent floods. Walking though here, it is all too easy to imagine this place becoming a flash flood zone.
I wonder if the high set houses dodged the worst of it?
The tiny cache was easily spotted and all is good inside. TFTC and intro to this very attractive area (in dry times).

*FTF* First to Find at 06:28 hr.

I didn’t know about this suburban park and playground, and it looks to be a nice spot to return with the rest of the family.
Not too tricky in the end.
Full log to follow.

Saw these new caches come out last night and thought I know the area it may be ok to go now but then thought I am too tired, lol. I had to drop the wife off at work so it was going to be a late start at grabbing these new caches. It was a nice morning so I took Maddie with me and we took the scooters for a little ride around. We came to this one and while Maddie went off to play on the swings, I looked around for the cache. A quick easy find here. We signed the log and then replaced the cache as found then jumped back on the scooters to ride back to the car. Thanks for placing these along here, it was a good morning for us.

I had to be stealthy here as there was an elderly couple and their grandkids at the playground but I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
