Long time no walk this path because of the road works down on champion Street. Nice to be back here. XDTFTC
A short little diversion from my previous find to my non-geocaching mission in Porirua this afternoon. Parked up and strolled down. The dog on the corner is a bit excitable. Reached GZ and poked around under a few trees before finally spotting what I was looking for.All good here, and thank you to CrystalFairy for the placement of your Traditional Cache.Find: #6965
Tftc GPS had us slightly off, but thanks for the clue in main description we found it.
This was a quick find while in the area this afternoon. All is well with the cache, thanks very much.
**19,859**Having been read the warning on this cache about only attempting after dry weather or in sturdy shoes, Mr Geckoh promptly leaped from the van into the drizzle in jandals! He says is was an easy find and he managed just fine in his wet jandals. Had been expecting something a little more terrain challenging but was pleased it wasnt in the long run. TFTC
My last day in Wellington with geocaching granddaughter. This time her Mum/my daughter was dragged along as driver so we could find some more. TFTC.
Nice afternoon out and about with tmann421 filling in time before tonight's event.Enjoyed the short walk and container soon found. Thanks CrystalFairy for the cache
A few caches before the Wednesday Event.Out with woolwood9, a slower pace today but still able to get to the cache! *Soon found, nice short walk.* SL *Thanks for the reason to visit this area.*
Found on a clear sunny afternoon, having found GC1WT7X Alice in Wonderland nearby earlier. All good in the container. Tftc!
This was perfect for my monthly September Spelling Challenge. The hint made for a easy find. A local doggo was not too keen having people walking past its property suddenly made its presence known, lol. Cache nice and dry, and all tucked away again as found. TFTC
I chose a different entrance to get to GZ as I wanted to do less driving and more walking! There was a lot of work going on with large trees being felled so there was a really nice piney smell in the air. I was a little worried that the path I'd chosen would be blocked off but no problem at all. A nice quick find at GZ. TFTC
Getting some extra steps in climbing Everest after CO’s multi. Found cache after short elimination search. Of course the rain arrived once I was here — the furthest point from the car. Cheers CrystalFairy!
Made a detour to get this one while working on some nearby multis. Turned out to be my only find of the day. I probably chose the wrong approach but got there without too much trouble. TFTC
Took our dog down for her usual walk and noticed this was recently published. A nice easy find. Found with Bianca.Ewart. Signed log and re-his. Billie says wood thanks Everest
As the weather was playing nice and giving us some great Easter weekend sunshine, I was out and about today and as I was over this way I came past here to collect this recently published cache. I parked not far away at the top of the track and was all quiet as I wandered down so had no trouble with the short search required to find this cache tucked away exactly as described. Log was safe and dry. TFTC.
I'm technically working from home today but there's an internet outage at work and I can't actually do anything. So, off to find one of the new caches that have appeared around Porirua that I deliberately avoided rushing out to find for just such occasions. I didn't have much interest in driving through the sterile streets of Aotea to the nearest park entrance to this cache so I parked over at the Champion Street entrance to have some lunch and walked the few hundred metres to here. Although I'd been on the lower part of that track/road I hadn't climbed all the way here which was a reasonably nice bit of track I hadn't ventured onto before. I completely overshot GZ and ended up by the houses thinking "surely after all that walking in a nice park the cache is not in view of the houses". And it wasn't. I went back down a bit (where the GPS told me go in fact!) and soon discovered the cache. Thanks for bringing me a new corner of this reserve.
I hadn't seen a new CrystalFairy cache for quite some time and when I had a look, the last physical cache was placed in 2013! Couldn't hold out another year for big 10?

As I drove to the cache site, I thought about the cache name and assumed a climb of some sort lay in store. When I parked my car, it was clear this was not going to be the case and a quick check of the description revealed all. A nice short walk soon got me to ground zero. It wasn't an instant find but I got there quickly enough.
Out and about this morning with Mrs agcnz. The cache wasn't in the first few places we looked but it didn't take long to locate it. Signed log, TFTC!
Happy Days FTF at 11:10. A nice quick find thanks to the hint and spot on coordinates. I haven’t been out this way for a while. The weather is certainly much better out here this morning compared to town. Cheers and TFTC
30 March 2022 13:11. Welllll... Had planned to go out caching this evening, but the lure of a potential FDF proved too much for GSEL to resist, so a lunchtime dash it was! Knew the FTF had long gone, but it was good to head over here for an easy find, an almost pristine logbook, and some weeds for GSEL's guinea pigs to munch on nearby. TFTC.
Noted the new puzzle, but that will need to wait for available brainpower....

#10,920. FDF. I was working from home today and had needed to do a few trips in the car to drop off family members at various places. The weather in Wellington was horrible with dense fog and drizzle. It looked to improve a little at lunchtime so I messaged infoferret to see if she wanted to pick up a couple of new caches up at Porirua. She had a meeting to attend at 2pm so we had to nip out here smartly. The weather was much nicer out this way. After getting instructions from IF we headed down the path and soon I spied a likely spot and there was the cache. Not a first to find but still good to find a cache with a fresh logsheet. Signed this and replaced where found. Bonus was getting some puha and dandelions for my daughters pet guinea-pigs. Thanks CrystalFairy for hiding it here.
