Looks like this was swept away last time the stream rose significantly. Going to archive, and have a look at a different hide style on a few months time.
Had a search all around the area but couldn’t put my hand on it.

A short walk this afternoon for a quick find. I think this track is reasonably new, it's rather pleasant and I don't recall it being here when I was last here and hunting caches along the stream. Signed log, TFTC

Lovely little spot admired the river and enjoyed the peace, then could not help myself but have a go on the bridge

Nice find while in the area with woolwood9 today.
We soon had the container spotted, although it was above head height!? We returned it to hint location.

I have visited Marton previously but didn't know about this wee gem of a walk. Thanks so much for this cache.
Lovely little place to visit! Had to try out the bridge! Cache in good condition. Signed the log book
A quick caching trip to Marton with the kids. This was our favourite of the day, a wee hidden gem that the kids really enjoyed. The cache was well hidden although I disposed of the vape someone had hidden in it. An FP from us, TFTC
I'm parked tonight at the NZMCA park and headed out for a wander to do the local ad lab, along with a couple of trads. This was a fun place to visit, took me a minute or so to work out the best approach from the main road, before finding this great place literally in the middle of no where. Such a nice quiet spot, thanks for bringing me here TFTC
Attended Rattll’s Xmas lunchtime barbecue near Whanganui and now heading back to Palmy. Plenty of time to detour to Marton as capperz’s relocated here means there are some new caches since our last visit. Nice to stretch the legs and add a smiley. Thanks capperz.
(# 7429) On a trip to Whanganui for the famous Rattl Christmas gig. Found the spot very quickly but couldn't locate the container. A quick look around and saw the cammo lying close by. So this one was muggled. Another quick search towards the stream yielded firstly the lid then the main container and surprisingly still had the log inside. Duly signed the log and put everything back together like new and put into the hiding place with leaf litter coverage. Hopefully this will remain in place. Thanks for bringing me here.
OH MY!
Took us 3 tries to find this cache. Deviously well hidden. Had to check the bridge all 3 times lol tftc

4.30pm. Arrived from way up north to where we are staying for a couple of nights. This was a 30 minute walk away so the exercise was good after the day in the car. Was the bridge built to be placed across the stream? A quick find and now the walk back. A favourite point for this hide.
Thank you David.
Thank you David.
Short wander down the nice path, quick find, then we all just had to trip-trap back across the bridge Cheers capperz, signed
Full day of caching with with Infoferret and BFG. Signed all logs today as BIC. Quick easy find. Surprised it's still there with the school nearby. After finding the cache had to try out the bridge to nowhere. Thanks for letting me feel like a kid again. T4TC
24 October 2022 14:33 TFTC (Not) Simon and Garfunkel for placing this cache, number 11802 for me. After signing the log, my inner 10 year old had great fun running over this on the way back to the car!
I enjoyed a few hours in the Rangitikei area today finding a few caches. Yeah all sort of weird. Cache was an easy find. TFTC
What a delightful walkway and equally delightful bridge that appears to be constructed for no reason whatever. We had to at least walk over it! Stop that swinging HS! Thanks for bringing us here.
What a lovely little bridge and an easily found cache. A bridge that really does go Nowhere except up across and then down ! I particularly like the daffodills that have been planted along the walk way and as they multiply each year they will be very attractive as there is so many types and colours. which i took some photos of and i will post later when i find them !
we went to Marton to locate a few cache in the area and we had 100 % finds today even if we had rain and got quite wet. I took nothing and left nothing. all was well with the cache .

Spring is only a few weeks away and we are at the start of yet another new month (seriously, how fast is this year zipping by???). I normally like to try and get a good caching outing in early in any month to take the pressure off my own desire to find 50 caches each month, so jumped at the chance to create our own pod with Haydn.seek and deltatea. We managed to cover a lot of ground and end up with no DNFs which is always a bonus. My personal haul was 35 for the day.
The weather looked like it would threaten us with rain all day long, but we were very lucky for most of the day with only a few passing light showers - until we got to the Tutaenui Reservoir where we managed to get seriously wet. But that was towards the end of our day so didn't spoil our caching at all.
Believe it or not, I've never actually been to Marton before in all my years (over 30) of visiting and living in NZ. I was glad to be able to put that right today.
A very quirky addition to the local architecture. I really wonder why this was created, but just as happy that it was. We had the place to ourselves to search in peace and the cache was a quick find. So once the logging had been taken care of, of course we just had to cross the bridge itself because... well just because!
Thanks for setting up the this cache.

#13,422. An interesting spot in Marton. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache was in good condition. Although it was damp inside, the waterproof paper was doing its job well. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Found it!
Out on a cache trip to Marton to grab a few I’ve had my sly eye on for a while. Cache was well hidden but log was a bit soggy
What a weird bridge, cool location!!
Thanks for the cache

Once again I find myself traveling from Wanganui back home to Wellington, and with all day to do it I had plenty of time to take the long route and to collect a few caches along the way. This was one of them.
This (relatively) recently published cache was on the list as it was my only unfound cache it Marton, and that would not do. Easy parking and a nice quiet walk down the path to the bridge. Not what I was expecting, but it fit the description. Cache was found as described, a little damp but no problem signing and returning as found. Thanks to the CO for bringing me here.

With (Mr) Davidson Clan and Gap (of Fap and Gap)… On a boy’s weekend roadtrip south. All good things must come to an end. So begins the very long trek home…
There was a little bit of muggle action down here this afternoon. We really wanted to get in and out before ground zone became too busy. The cache was quickly found. We just had enough time to sign in before a dog walker appeared… Thanks (Not) Simon and Garfunkel and TFTC.

FapnGap and Squirel Nutcase and I have come away for the long weekend caching. Nice quick find here today cache is in good condition. Thanks for hiding the cache.
Paul and Art won't with me today so it was hunt for myself and thankfully it was a quick find with no one away. Nice walk to GZ

This took a little longer than it should have as there was a muggle nearby digging up a bucket of dirt. The cache was outside of its covering but all was reunited again. TFTC

Morning caching out back of Hunterville then on to Marton area for some new caches. Thanks capperz for the cache.
I'm from Taranaki where we have the more famous Bridge to Nowhere.
We also have a Bridge to Elsewhere at Whangamomona, and I own a geocache at the Bridge to Somewhere at Aotuhia, south of Whangamomona.
So it was only right I should collect this one today on the way home from visiting the CO's newest caches at Tutaenui Reservoir. (Missed the FTF fight here on the day as I was out of town on holiday.)

A quick easy find with markhnz after a pleasant short walk. The bridge does now go somewhere - to a cache. We admired the bottle people in the school as we passed. TFTC
#10,957. 3TF. I am heading north to Auckland and decided to divert into Marton to pick up a few newly placed caches. I parked near the school and wandered down the path to the bridge to nowhere. Since the bridge was there I decided I needed to walk over it. It has quite a swing. I then went to find the cache. The helpful hint made quick work of that. Sat down on the seat and signed the logbook. Then returned everything as found. Thanks "(Not) Simon and Garfunkel" for hiding it here.
Parked up nearby and made our way to the Bridge to Nowhere to find it is not as spectacular as the Bridge to Nowhere on the Whanganui River.
QF at the first spot I checked. TNLNSL and left as found.
Thanks for the cache.

What a beautiful, enchanting autumn day today - definitely time to go and help Signal get out of the Enchanted Forest Labyrinth.
Marton was the place to go as there were nine new caches to find including the delightful, cleverly themed Puzzles in a pod series which I had just solved. They were interesting and fun to work on, some easier to source than others.
Having located all the pod caches we decided to deviate from our intended route in order to look for this newly published cache.
We were well rewarded for doing so - a lovely little walk, a playful bridge, some beautiful
fungus and a {FTF} - has to get a fav Thank you capperz.
