Out on the scooters for a quick ride. Nice variety of caches. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Coordinates changed from:S 19 18.371 E 146 41.760Coordinates changed to:S 19 18.370 E 146 41.763Distance from original: 18.2 feet or 5.6 meters.Checked on this one after the DNFs. As the site has changed a little I have replaced the cache a short distance away.
This was Mrs TMRs time to shine. We searched the general area for a few minutes without luck. This one could be really mean, but it's only a D3 so surely not, or is it? Anyway something along those lines happened: Mrs TMR: If I were to hide a cache here, I'd put it in a place like this! (crouches down and starts moving rocks and comes up with the cache!) We had a good laugh. FP in

On a nice bike road on this trail and decided to get this series of caches. I Haven’t had the chance to go caching in a while so it is good that I am getting back into it. TFTC.
Making the last find here along this powertrail. Thank you very much for the effort of putting those out. It was great fun chasing the FTFs of the others earlier this year.
I thought I was cutting it a bit fine when I got to this one, but I’m glad I allowed a little bit of time to either find this or have a little bit of time to get to another that I haven’t done along this bike trail. There wasn’t much at the GZ and the coords were closer to the track than the fence I I assumed what it might be. A relatively short hunt later and I spotted where my quarry could be and so it was. Nice one BlackPearl. I don’t normally like them but when found after a short search they aren’t too bad. Time for one another before bed I think.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 86. Townsville to Tully. With rain threatening, I packed up the van and headed to the bypass road bike trail to get my scooter out. I managed all but one. I could not quite get up the second bit of the tree. A great way to stat the morning after the dismal start yesterday. On the drive North I stopped one or two times, but mostly had a smooth drive with a mango smoothie along the way.
Thanks for the cache BlackPearl26

After the mega was over, we spent a couple of days caching around Townsville, and disappeared off to Charters Towers and Bowen.
We still had some unfinished business in Townsville, and this series looked very enticing.
At this point we did not have bicycles, so the walk was done by foot.
A couple of difficult things along the way. First of all we had to find the right point to park the car to get ourselves along the Trail.
And then, there were definitely a couple of tricky hides with rocks hidden in rocks.
All up, we found them all, bar one.
The one we chose not to attempt, was a tree climb, since we were just not equipped on the day to manage this one.
This series is a great addition to geocaching here in Townsville.
Thanks BlackPearl26. A lovely walk for us in the late afternoon.

Today we were out to get around to the Ring Road and grab those caches scattered along the road and those that were close by riding past. Car still in the Toyota workshop, but we are one step closer to getting it fixed.
Thanks BlackPearl26 for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 12832,
Great to be back in town as part of The Megatrons ((The Bug, Crash, Tardis and myself).
Well done Townsville and Charters Towers of qualify and variety to go with the Mega.
We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Some last moment caches before the flight out today and realised I was getting close to 400 regional finds so picked up the rest of this series to get closer to the target.

No wonder the hounds couldn’t find this when we went looking when unpublished. I had the coords and the hint and it was still rather tricky under the full moon. Thanks you muchly BlackPearl26
{*FTF*} 13/4/22. 8am
The hounds raced to seperate spots this morning to keep the dream alive.
We’d searched in the dark for this one the other night but it’s no surprise we couldn’t find it without coords. Today in the light it still took a few minutes.
The streak continues! Day 45
Thanks BlackPearl26 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.
