Back on the mainland, after nearly 3 months in Tassie. So nice to have avoided all the excessively hot weather. It was just starting to get light when I first made my way to this area but there were a number of muggles camped nearby and starting to move about. Returned after doing some nearby caches to find they had moved on, so gave me a great opportunity to search for this one, which was quickly spotted. Thanks RoadRunna for placing this virtual so we can do this cache.

What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. Thanks RoadRunna for the cache.

Decided to do a little park and grab after a Bunnings trip today. Quite a few people down here in their cars but I was able to not look suspicious at all as I found this cache straight away. Purely by chance as it had fallen and was lying on top of the pine leaves. Quickly grabbed it and signed the log back in the car. When I went to hide the cache, I couldnt find a safe enough spot for it but thankfully Id picked up some geocache supplies when at Bunnings. Armed with some fishing wire Ive attached the cache in a hopefully safe spot for it. Also needs new log book so I added some paper as well. Thanks for the cache! Peace, Tara Found 3.30 pm Monday 16 October 2023. Signed log as: taralee_peace Took nothing, left paper for temporary log. Geocaches found: 34

After attending a very small event at a familiar fast food purveyor nearby, T and an E of iTEEM stopped in to grab this one on the way back to work at the airport.
E's sharp eyes spotted it first and we signed under cover of the foliage with the nearby muggle in their car none the wiser.
All dry and in good condition.

Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Two: Jeparit to Corio Ferry Terminal.
Weather: sensational.

Just a little bit of time left over before boarding the ferry, time enough to squeeze in one last Victorian cache on this trip.

The car park was full of punters consuming their MacDonalds purchase, but I think I successfully positioned myself to avoid detection, and most of them were on their phones anyway.

Thanks for this bin voyage cache RoadRunna, I bet you’re getting a lot of traffic on this one now.

Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks RoadRunna for the cache.

took me a while as I was looking at the wrong place but eventually found and signed. Quiet, serene place save for birds chirping and the rustle of leaves. While signing log, spotted 2 mating harlequin bugs at GZ who seemed unhappy that I disturbed their private time.

After successfully putting a smiley on this cache, i headed off to the nearby maccas for breakfast! iced chai latte was diluted but their hot chocolate and breakfast muffins are delicious. this marks my very first cache on the mainland. t4tc!

We were heading back to home after being in Melbourne running a few errands and we wanted to pick up a cache. With the horrible weather forecast it is wise to grab caches when the weather is more clement.

We pulled up to the car park and were about to jump out to search for the cache and a couple of muggles in mugglewagons pulled in and seemed likely to set up camp.

We are patient, so we waited them out and after about ten minutes the carpark was barren.

So out we hopped out and made a speedy find.

The cache is in excellent condition. Thank you for this cache RoadRunna.

Marshall's Geelong found this cache today,
Manage to time this one just right so the muggles wouldn't spot us. After grabbing lunch from the burger place across the road we thought this would be a nice place to sit and watch the birds!

*The "Got My Butt On A Bike 'Cos I Couldn't Stand Being In My House Any Longer" Adventure #2*
I'm out for an afternoon of exercise and caches. Most of my visits today are looking for the info required to kick off a puzzle or multi.
This was the first find of the day, ironically in a spot I visit mildly regularly. Well... not exactly here at GZ. More like waist-deep in the water, pulling rubbish out of the lake. Looking around, the area would be an easy candidate for a CITO.
Thanks heaps, RoadRunna!

Thought we would pop in here as we were passing on our way home and grab this cache.
Was certainly a quick park and grab.
We couldn’t see any views as it was pitch dark at 7.20 PM.

I made such hard work of this one.

Fortunatly I parked well to block the muggles.

Had an idea on what I expected to find.

round and round I went.

Eventually I did in a spot I had not looked.

Set off after lunch to make the most of the weekend.
Made my way to Eynesbury to grab a handful of caches which turned into a leisurely loop walk.
Then to southern Melton.
The weather held off making it a perfect caching day.
It only took a moment to locate the hide. Great to see your return RoadRunna

Had a call fro my great caching friends the suscoe's who suggested that they call by and pick me up to tidy a few unfound caches that remain unfound, well you cannot knock back an offer like that so today at 1.30pm the car pulled up and we were off on our little adventure.
Last find for today as it was on our way home and being still unfound for us we just had to call into the carpark and have a look.
Thankfully a quick find, signed the log and home for a couple of wines before dinner.
Thanks RoadRunner for placing.

Suscoe and Bushfire headed out for a pleasant afternoon of caching.
We decided that a trip out through Lara to the You Yangs and back again via a wander would be great.
It was a mild Autumn afternoon.

Thanks to Roadrunna for this hide.
We were on the way home and had time for this hide.
All quiet here when we arrived.
Bushfire swooped on this hide.

Time to head home.

SmileSmileSmile Joint [FTF] with Donutholes SmileSmileSmile

I was home resting after a day out caching with mates when the phone went bing with a first to find under 10 kms from home. I really didn't feel much like going out but what sort of first to find hunter would I be if I passed on one so close. I through some shoes on and I was out the door in a flash I new the area so I made my way to the car park pretty quickly where I was joined by Donutholes.
The first place I look I spotted my prize and we were able to sign the blank logbook

Thank you RoadRunna for the cache

I get excited when an email comes through telling me there is a cache close by. Very happy that this one is close to both Sims_family and myself so it made sense to team up and collect the smiley face.

Log signed as a joint [FTF] and replaced where it was found. Now it's time to make my way Melbourne to catch a show at the comedy festival.

Thanks you Smile
