Today we drove to Bowser and unloaded our bikes to enjoy a day of caching and riding in this beautiful Spring weather. We packed a picnic to enjoy somewhere along the way.We were very grateful of the hint to eliminate the need for what could have been a very long search in all the wrong places. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.
After lunch at the pub, we continued on caching for the day, finding the last few drivebys in the area. Great to find a new one on the rail trail. TFTC
The plan for today was to attend the CITO and then get some caches around Wang. But I got things wrong and the event is tomorrow. So instead I headed to the Warbys for a walk and to collect a few Challenge caches. 13 of the 15 qualified found plus a few other Trads on the loop. Until the end a successful day. This was the first and I have been here before - in fact I think it took two visits to collect the original nasty cache. Drove the long way from Londrigan and parked nearby. A quick find and cache in good condition.TFTC BettyBoo3747
Out on the bike today with our middle geokid. I've been eyeing off this trail for ages now but just haven't had the opportunity. Today was the day, planned to try get half done starting from Bowser station, this will depend on how the little man's legs go. We ended up not quite halfway but made some good progress, only 1 DNF. A fun ride, we are keen to get back and finish off. Went straight past this one.TFTC!
After a few days of feeling under the weather, it was time to get out and enjoy the sunshine before the much needed rain comes our way. I have looked for the previous cache that was here to no avail, but the replacement cache was found, log signed, and returned as found.
Hello BettyBoo3747 thank you for the cacheAn afternoon walk to see how many I could find before my legs give out.A quick find.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Saturday, 04 May 2024 at 1454**TFTC**
Curious farmer and a suspicious car driving along the bike trail! We are out on a Sunday drive/stroll in the Autumn evening before the winter cold sets in! Thanks BettyBoo3747 for hiding and maintaining this series.
This was our last find for the day after a Wangaratta wander today. We found this one quite quickly. All good here today.Time to head back to our accommodation, it was getting a bit warm. Thanks to BettyBoo3747.
09:33Based in Wangaratta for a few days we took the opportunity to head toward Beechworth, we found a variety of caches, in a part of Victoria we love visiting. First for the day..... a good start. Thanks to BettyBoo3747 for hiding caches in interesting locations. 36173
Robmc and I parked at Bowser station and enjoyed a sunny spring day to do some maintenance. A short ride checking 11 caches and fixing up as required.Checked this one on the way past and all OK as it is a much more recent hide.
Heading home from Albury after a caching in Canberra with friends. This was a nice and quick find.
My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
We took a hike down the bike track, 9.5 km's or so. At the start of the trail the butterfly's were so thick i thought i was going to choke on one. I did enjoy the fact that the co used a number of different container from bison tubes, to cliplock containers, to fruit containers plus the style of hiding was different for the trail.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
We are now caching around Wangaratta finding caches to meet the A-Z challenge along with a few others.
It was a lovely day today and great walking on this trail. I had read all about it from tourist information at our accommodation.
Thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747.

Out on my Ebike along the trail today finding these caches all going well so far TFTC
Exploring rural Victoria as part of the SPINZ team: Sidewaze, paddle chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from New Zealand. I’m really enjoying the landscape and seeing what goes on in this neck of the woods. All the different eucalypts, the pepper trees and other interesting plants. The colourful birds, some quite noisy and some very noisy. The many vistas - - beautiful in sunlight and shade. I loved visiting each and every cache and really appreciate the effort required to hide and maintain them. Thanks to the cache owners. Greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand, happy caching and if you have yet to visit us across the ditch to see what we have to offer, do make sure you enter such a visit on your “to do” list.
This is my first trip outside New Zealand caching and enjoyed getting this cache with Team SPINZ tftc
We are enjoying our expedition along this section of the trail and the variety of hides - lovely day for it. Kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand. TFTC # 18,979
Found on our Rutherglen Mega trip, all logs signed as SPINZ (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from NZ). Sorry about the cut and paste logs. TFTC

Been a while since this one was placed, but I had not got around to coming here.
Today on the way to Wang I detoured to sign the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thank goodness… we now have completed this end of the trail.
We never found that nasty previous hide.
We would love to know where it was but now we will never know or have the satisfaction of finally getting it.
This new hide will definitely have a long and fruitful life
TFTC which we easily found in the dark.

#5010 Despite the dodgey weather we headed out this arvo with the gehounds and targeted this cache to start with. Parked up at the Londrigan Station site where we were greeted with a heavy shower of rain. After 5 minutes of sitting it out, the shower had cleared and we got going towards this cache on foot hoping that there would be no more precipitation.
Once at gz it was a nice quick find. We do recall the previous nasty hide here, it certainly took us a while to locate it. By the time we returned the geocar we had completed about 4.5kms which appeased the geohounds by achieving their daily walk demands. Also happy to report conditions remained dry! TFTC BB.

Found by Rebel Acts, in the Company of my good friends Roostaman, Mrs Roosta and Ski Pair, we were all able to find a free week to get away and do some caching around the Rutherglen area, we had a great time despite some very frustrating hides.
This is one of the caches found today.
All logs signed as Rebel Acts or RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair).
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Checked my emails around 9pm and saw this new cache published several hours earlier. I was surprised to see it was still unfound and wondered if it had already been found. I decided to save the glass of wine and head out for a search.
I arrived at GZ in no time and spotted the familiar hide straight away. A blank log sheet was my reward tonight!
Grabbed some biscuits and ice cream on the way home before putting my feet up again.
