Cache disabled to prevent people searching for it until I am able to remove it. When placed the cabin was unused and built on public land. I am away this coming weekend but will relocate it the following weekend. Apologies for the intrusion.
Hi,Disabling won't stop people from looking for it.I've Archived it and locked it, which prevents anyone from logging in and removes any incentive to look for it.Thanks,Balayang -Geoff
Found it. However this is a privately owned shack currently being used. I met the owners there and they would appreciate if people did not visit here.
Privately owned. Owners are not happy about the cache being there and would like it removed
The owners of the shack have posted in Facebook group Geocaching Tasmania asking for the removal of this cache."My partner and I were at our cabin today and a fellow turned up, searching beneath it for a cache. We were really unhappy about this intrusion into our place. If anyone knows about this could we please have this cache and information about it removed?"When I shared the details of this cache, they confirmed it was located at their shack and stated "Omg. How awful. Can we please have this removed? We love our place. My grandfather built it 80 years ago and it was out of our family for nearly 40 years but now we own it and have been restoring it. Thats so upsetting! It is private property and we dont want folk trespassing."
Needs archiving its on private property and owners have requested it be removed from geocaching. See attached that they posted on Geocaching Tasmania FB
Was in the area again later this arvo, the coast was clear, so I nipped in, against a high tide and made a quick find. Not sure what the shack looked like when the cache was hidden, but it seems there's some serious refurbishment/restoration going on.Thanks S_38 for getting me to stop at this idyllic location.Cheers,EPs
Found this one right where the painting has happened obviously owners hasnt spotted the cache . TFTC
A couple of muggles here typing up and painting the shack - so I'll come back another time.
Thank you! Lovely little spot that I have driven past often, but never stopped in on
Found with fnsaws but the pen ran out so photo to prove we found it. Lovely spot
Found today with chonknlexi, no working pen so have logged with a photo of the cache. TFTC
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Meanandering about on some of these country roads and picking up a few hides along the way. Took a bit to make my way down to GZ but then it was an easy enough find. How secluded is this. Thanks S_38 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.

On a drive today with a client, collecting some caches along the way. Very clever hide!TFTC
We headed off early to miss the morning traffic and did a loop down to Franklin, Dover and back home via Abels Bay, Egg and Bacon Bay and Nine Pin Point to find caches that would help us gain a souvenir or two this month and this was one we found. As the tide was well in Mr W was volunteered to leap off the bank. A nicely cammoed cache was soon found and logged. TFTC
Hello S_38 thank you for the cache
Today it was a high tide so I put on my waders and walked to your cache where I quickily found it.
An interesting place, the door had been smashed in.
This was one of many caches found on our way back home from Newcastle seeing our grand children.

Thanks for the cache S_38.
Out for a drive with the GeoGSP's today and this cache was on the list. We parked on the pull-off area to the north of the cache and had a nice leisurely stroll to GZ as the tide was out - it was a gorgeous morning, sunny and still.
After letting the GeoGSP's have a little stretch of their legs, we made our way to GZ and made a nice quick find.
Thanks for highlighting this top little location. A favourite from me.

This is one of the coolest places we have been to on our caching raids
It's places like this that make us cache in the first place
Thank you so much

So today I headed out to finish the end of a Multi GC92PT4. While I was here I thought I would give some of the caches in the Verona Sands, Randalls Bay, Eggs & Bacon Bay & Abels Bay areas. I have ventured down this way before however I have not seen this whole area. What a lovely day it was to get out. I am so glad I decided to not venture out yesterday in the heat but go today.
This was my seventh find for the day. What a great little shack. I wonder if it actually gets used as the front of it looks like it has new items on it. Either way, it was a lovely little walk over to it & a nice easy find. TFTC
All of the caches I did today (in order of finds) are:
GC1JAHG - Two Ladies Meet
GC9M8WT - Eggs & Bacon
GC74Y1E - BANJO’s Beach
GC92PT4 - Mickey Mouse Searches for a House
GC7YYZW - E & B Bay
GC9PKJ5 - Cup of Tea with your Breakfast
GC9TBTR - Ratshack
GC35K3P - Willing and Abel

A day was planned in the areas of: Randalls Bay / Eggs and Bacon Bay / Abels Bay / Gardners Bay / Cygnet and Huonville and today was that day, Wednesday the 9th of November 2022.
It being perfect with a temperature in the mid 20's [:x] i wasn't passing it up.
I went to a parking spot that had a view of the shack of interest. Upon walking there i noticed a Pied Oystercatcher that objected to me being on it's turf and was 'pipping' away at me but stood it's ground and just went the opposite way i was going and didn't fly off, they aren't so scared in this neck of the woods
The tide was half in / half out so getting there with dry feet was no issue. At GZ the cache was quickly found and i was SL at 09:42.
The cache and contents are in A1 condition.

We decided to spend a day out in the area with the puppy and this turned out to be the perfect spot to have our lunch. It was a beautiful day and we had the entire beach to ourselves for the whole time we were there. After lunch, we headed off to GZ and found the well-hidden cache after a short search. TFTC!

I was looking for something to do today to break up the monotony of the cold wet weather. It cleared up a bit so I headed out to this nearest cache with my daughter. Our first attempt to get to the GZ was thwarted by the high tide. We headed the other way on the overgrown slippery track. Much like the previous cachers we didn’t find it the first or even the second attempt but we managed to find it eventually. This is an interesting spot.
This cache was the reason we chose to come down this way today. Last night I noticed it has still not been logged so suggested to the lads that we should take a look today. We didn't rush down, we had our usual coffee stop then found another cache before arranging here. Another car was parked here and we hoped we hadn't been beaten. We didn't sop any people so quickly hurried to GZ. A quick inspection didn't reveal anything but upon a more thorough examination the cache revealed itself, almost by accident!
A fav point for sneaky hide and stunning views.
A joint {*FTF*} with Stainless steel rat and Budgietas
Thanks S_38

A day out and about with Stainless Steel Rat (SSR) and GoosenEgg (G&E)
This cache was out first objective of the day, but not the first cache we found. We were driving past another cache on the way, and decided to stop and get that (Egg and Bacon by Oldsaint) before moving on to this one.
We arrived at the parking coordinates to find another car - oh drat we might have been beaten to the *FTF* but we arrived at the GZ without spotting anyone else and then there were no names in the log book - perfect. The track we took down to the GZ was fairly steep, but we arrived there without problems. The view from the water level was great. (photo attached)
Cache was found on second inspection at the first place we looked. A nice piece of camo stopped us seeing it the first time

Very pleased to still get a **FTF** after all this time, it;s not like we were fast it was just we were less slack then evryone else!
It did feel a bit odd searching for this one but it spotted in the end by Budgie and Goose.
With a FTF still up for grabs down South and an area we wanted to investigate down this way a plan was formed by the three of us to come down this way, we didn't know who was driving till the last minute but at least we had a plan which is better than most weeks
Thanks for the cache.
