I completed the lab some time ago and so on this visit to Chch i wanted to locate the bonus which did not take too long with the hint . Returning north after Dunedin mega and staying a few days in Chch with son so what better way to fill my days is to go Geocaching and today i decided on visiting Wigram. What a huge change since i was last there staying on The Runway with another son- they were the first to move into that new road some 15- 16 years ago i guess it was , Now there is a supermarket , a school , a movie theatre , a retirement village , multi housing , . Wow! Most of the caches were found except for two so the day was successful including the Labs there .
Glad I came along here this afternoon while it was quiet, tricky find in the obvious spot after completing the fun ad lab, TFTC
We are all the way down here in NZ to support our daughter at a sporting competition. And we are making the most of our time to check out the beautiful city of Christchurch and grab some Southern hemisphere caches! Enjoyed the lab and a QEF at GZ, TFTC
Today my son was playing in a school hockey tournament at Nga Puna Wai and I went for a short walk to do this adventure lab in between games. I made hard work of the find, went several times around the hiding spot with no luck. Then a muggle noticed my antics and asked if I'd lost something. I told him about geocaching and he was very interested. He took a look and found it for me straight away. Maybe he will sign up. Thanks for the ad lab and bonus cache, great facilities here!
Thanks but I did have to ask. And its not at the hockey field its under the main sign.
After doing the AdLab the other day, this was still on my radar, and with today being a mystery dot day as well, might as well come and get it! Noone around, which made for a quick and easy find once I had worked out where it would be. Thanks for putting this one out Nice walk around the area for the AdLab, just too many people to make the find that day. TFTC Aslan*, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #4720
I had completed the associated ad lab a wee while ago but had kept the bonus for another day. This morning, I was in the area, so decided to swing by and look for the cache. OK, so Saturday morning is probably the worst possible time to come here, cars and muggles galore! StreetWalkerNZ, who had found the cache last month, dropped me near GZ then looked for a parking spot. He found an unauthorised one close by, and figuring that I wouldn't be too long, he cheekily parked there. Not an instant find, I did look in the right place initially, but not hard enough and the constant stream of muggles added to the difficulty. SW was making signs at me from the car, and then I realised I needed to take a better look/feel. Found it this time, in between passing muggles. Thanks for the tour of this great facility and TFTC.
Quick sort out after walking around watching nobody playing sports. Must be in the bar?
#23471. It was a nice day so I thought I'd go for a lunchtime bike ride to look for the cache of the day (no nearby caches at present so it takes a decent ride to reach one.). All was quiet at GZ when I arrived. It was pretty windy so I leant my bike on a nearby object (if on the stand it easily gets blown over). As I walked over to where I assumed the cache was a muggle family pulled up and got out of their car. I scuttled around the object I was searching so it was shielding me, and managed to find the cache. As I went to replace it the family came over to ask me to move my bike as they wanted to take a photo of what my bike was leaning on. I said no problem, and retrieved my bike and pedaled off into a brisk head wind. TFTC.
**#20,419**Despite the drizzle we enjoyed wandering around the area doing the ad lab and admiring the wonderful facilities you have here, quick sit down under cover to work out the final GZ and soon had it Sussed, used the old camera in reverse trick to locate the hiding spot, lucky we were out of site of the gardener for a quick sign and replace
As it's Boxing Day today, it was very this afternoon. A great time for a quiet stroll while looking around and doing the AdLab. The cache was quickly found.
Had downloaded the adventure lab app just Monday afternoon so decided that today we'd try it out and find a geocache at the same time. Really enjoyed it. Also visited the new netball centre and they offered us a tour. **2 geocaching milestones at once!****1st Adventure Lab****200th Geocache Find!**
Nice walk around in the early morning to collect the clues and a very quick find of the final. Now let the two days of kī o Rahi begin! TFTC!!-
We enjoyed the Adv Lab but saved this puzzle for a blank puzzle dot day. Saw that it had been replaced so came and found you today. Thanks for replacing the cache, the puzzle and adv lab Aslan*.
In Chch over night enroute to places further south. A very lonely place this cold afternoon the only others about are some very bored looking security guards at the Costa Rica football team's training grounds. The cache was soon located. AL bonus caches are always appreciated. Thanks.

Came back & found this one as saw where it had been replaced. We were sure it had gone last time we looked but always nice to be confirmed. TFTC
No luck here - had a good search but apparently the sign was moved so they could asphalt around it?Or maybe we just couldn’t see it.
A nice quick find after an extended wander.
I did the Adventure Lab the long way, in order to collect several other caches along the way, with extra walking due to fenced off areas for new construction.
Thanks for the Bonus cache!

We spend a lot of time here playing and umpiring hockey. I did the Adventure Lab on a Saturday a while ago but left the bonus for a much quieter time.
The cache was a quick find. TFTC.

We wandered around this impressive new sports centre to complete the Adventure Lab cache, and the bonus was then a quick easy find. TFTC
️ Parking ️ was wonderful. It made finding this cache really enjoyable. Thankfully the thunderstorm ️ didn't amount to much. It was also one that I could easily do in my work clothes after work. My husband and I both enjoyed your adventure lab.
Nice Adventure lab, taking us to discover a place we have never seen before. Quite busy with the Global games and hundreds of 8-15 kids with their parents and coaches playing rugby. We supposed we would have to come back another day to grab the final, but at GZ, little cacher knew where to look, spotted it and took it in a few seconds. No one noticed what we were doing, and as a child, no one even looked at him as he was promptly replacing the container. The logbook was dry, this is a great spot to have a cache resistant to rain! Thanks for placing this here and showing this great facility.
Today was another dot day for Troodles's 365 Days of Mystery Challenge (GC9BVFZ).
I had done the Adventure Lab some time back and whilst competing it I did a recce of where this bonus was. This morning I elected to start my cyclocache ride from Redwood Park and utilise mainly cycleways and shared use walkways as far as possible - the only roads briefly used were the one accessing Canterbury Arena and the one into the Canterbury A & P Showgrounds.
It was a pretty crisp ride to Nga Puna Wai due to a very cool southerly headwind all the way, such that I was looking forward to riding the return leg with the wind behind me. . Knowing exactly where to feel I had the cache in my hand just a couple of seconds after parking my bike at GZ. [^] With this mystery cache I have now filled in all of August. I have now only 11 mystery dot days to complete the challenge.. Thanks for the Ad Lab and this bonus Aslan*.

TFTC. Lovely evening wander with Flobberworm! Perfectly constructed adventure lab cache.
Lovely walk around today, thanks. Nice quick find at the final, once we got back to the car a bus full of kids turned up so glad we got the cache done before they came! TFTC!
What a busy place on a Sunday! Sports going on in all the courts, quite fun to watch the hockey and remember years ago when I played goalie. A nice walk around before the southerly front arrived. Cheers
Did this Adventure Lab in between innings and getting the Bonus
While watching my grandson playing hockey .Thanks for this Bonus Aslan*

Sir Belac's Avon hockey team is playing this afternoon, we got the entrance lab as we arrived, then 2 more at the end of the 1st quarter then the other 2 at half time. Then a quick find for the bonus at 3rd quarter. Unfortunately Avon lost 4-1. Thanks for an enjoyable set of labs and cache Aslan*

Well the lab was easy to complete, this cache was another matter! Found in the second spot I checked, but it wasn't easy to time it. LOTS of muggle arrivals so I managed a find and sign but am now typing this while I wait for the games to start so I can put the cache back. They've had a 7 minute to game start warning but boy some teachers are disorganised! I reckon I'll be okay in about 2 minutes...

We enjoyed walking around the sports complex as we watched it transition from a farm paddock containing sheep to this amazing and colourful sports hub. There were 2 games of hockey being played with a few hardy parents watching the matches. It is quite cold with patches of drizzle. The adventure cache helped us to see the whole complex easily. I was especially impressed by the athletics track. M found the cache easily but I bet it would be difficult at some times of the year when muggles abound.
We walked around the facility with a bracing icy wind blowing, which did not deter the many athletes running around in shorts. Had to crouch down to spot the correct corner containing the cache. TFTH!
Such an awesome facility. A few years ago Mr14 did a stint of athletics - spent a couple summers worth of Saturday mornings (8:30am - 1pm!) down here. A shame the tennis courts don't get used as much as you would think & aren't open to the public. Great to hear too about the expansion up the front left (as you drive in) where the indoor netball/Korfball center will be built. Also spending the odd Saturday winters morning down here now with Mr12 and a bit of football out the back on the new fields marked out on the (old?) polo grounds...Thanks for the fun mornings adventure; was busy cooking tea when it was published so not much that I could do; and then left it until now so it could 'add' to the labyrinth series of souvenirs. Lovely and quiet for the walk around.
I hadn't been invited to any of the Queen's birthday celebrations in the UK so I was free to explore here for the first time since its opening. It was buzzing with hockey players and spectators on a sunny holiday Monday but the crowd had a different focus from what I was after. Such a mild day that a monarch butterfly was out and about but too fast to snap so I enjoyed the orange pingao instead. Thanks Aslan*
Saturday is a very busy day here but I was able to do the lab adventure and find the cache with no problems. This area is so different to how it used to be when I lived nearby. I used to frequently walk here when I lived in the area. It was hockey games being played today and I played hockey in the 1970s at what used to be called hospital corner
A freezing but enjpyable lab. So pleased there is no one about. Made the search for the final ever so much easier than it could have been! It would be horrendous on a weekend! Thanks, Aslan*.

Very quiet here today which made seeking sooo easy! Good and appropriate hide. Thanks Aslan*
Great day to bike from Lincoln to do this Lab cache & get the bonus, very quiet day on the sports front, can imagine it full of muggles on a sports day - TFTC
A cold but interesting walk only a few muggles around . Thanks Aslan* for the adventure and the Bonus.
A neat little hide and quite appropriate!!! As I said in the remarks this spot needs all the publicity it can get. It really is a gem, when you think of what was there before. And the netball/futsal facility is still to come. The only negative for me, has been the Tennis Courts;-- they hardly seem to be used.
A great asset during lockdown, were the various tracks and trails, and there were always people walking , biking or dog walking.

A nice quick find thanks, 2TF.
I needed some exercise so I jumped on my bike and rode to the Ad Lab, and made a hash of one of the points. I finally worked out where I went wrong, then popped over to the hide. The area was relatively quiet.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Last time I was in Nga Puna Wai, was Feb 2019. It was still in construction and I did a couple of days worth of labouring here. I don't really have any praise for the quality of work done here. I vaguely remember the contractors being all over the place and being tasked of some pointless work trying to suck water out of some foundations when it was just filling up again and there was no plan on what to do there. But what do I know, I was just a temp labourer. ????????
Anyway, back to beta-testing AdLabs! Some typos in the questions, and one answer was worded differently on site than the answer to question would accept, but I'm sure CO is onto it and may have fixed it by the time I finish this log entry.
Found on a dog walk! Unexpected FTF, as I was visiting mother in law in Hoon Hay and was just taking doggo for a walk. Noticed the adlab, and was like - why not!? Was only about 3km walk one way.
The logbook says "Replacement" and nothing else so not sure what that is about but signed as FTF.
Kia ora! ???? Paldies! ????
