Hi there geocaching_mackay, we found your cache 2/8th Battalion (Australia) today. This is day three of our Nebo power trail" experience. Were caching with Rainforest Cookie and Ratdog. Just like the last couple of days, our aim is to find as many of the Military" series as we can before we head out on our separate ways. To save space weve just written our initials in the logs. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).

TFTC geocaching_mackay your cache 2/8th Battalion (Australia) that we found today. We are up in the Mackay Region to make a start on the variety of caches here. This morning we joined forces with Team JLBL and cached our way from Elphinstone to part way to Nebo. Weather was getting to hot so satisfied with the mornings work we headed back to camp.Find Count: 20028

Tftc Mackay_geocaching, at Nebo for few nights stay. As soon as the fog lifted this morning we headed out for a cache run with Hans and Linda before it heats up to much.Thanks for this series so much has gone into creating it.All caches found in good condition. If not a few repairs done

This visit we decided to pick up some newer caches in this series, together with ilook4geo. Some were harder to locate than others, but we had a good day. Thanks for placing this series of caches go to geocaching_mackay.

Came along today with goingplaces2 and checked out a lot more military history. No problem with the caches and most were quickly found. TFTC.

We are currently staying at Mackay and today we returned to the trail to find more in this series.

Some were quick finds, others took longer to reveal themselves. We added ziplock bags, new log sheets to those that needed it and replaced a couple that were gone due to roadworks.

A 12hr day by the time we returned to Mackay.

Our thanks to geocaching_mackay for creating, researching and placing this series. We appreciate the time and effort that it must have taken to do so.

Earthlight and I headed out for a few hours caching which ended up being 4 hrs .
Most caches found easily but a few took a bit longer to find

Found with The X-Trailers heading back from Lake Elphinstone. Sadly we didn't do all due to time constraints. A great series. The grasses here were no problem compared to the other road and caches in better condition We had a great morning. TFTC

We came up North to escape the winter chill at home.

Found on my 2nd and last day in Nebo for this trip. This was a quick find. the log was soaked I put a temp log in to keep it operational. TFTC.

Enjoying a trip around Queensland with tmann421after a two year wait for the Australian New Zealand boarders to open.
Found numerous caches and saw plenty of interesting places.

Wayne had an early mark from work this afternoon and couldn't resist the lure of so many newly published caches.
Our birds protested most vociferously at being put to bed at 3pm, but I knew it would be dark before we were heading for home.
So with a pen in one pocket and a torch in the other, 2 and 1/2 hours of daylight and a one hour drive, we headed off up the Range to log some FTFs.
We witnessed a glorious sunset when we stopped at Nebo Junction to buy some dinner, then drove back down Sarina Range in the dark.
Thanks for the cache and the FTF.
