The first geotrail was too wet.The second geotrail was too cobwebby.But the third geotrail was just right (minus the spikey plants that seem to be a personal nemesis right now!) Thanks for the relatively quick find!

The joy of DNF revenge. This was missing on my recent visit while out Metro Caching with a couple of sensors. The CO informed me that it had been hastily replaced. On a solo caching mission today, I detoured to GZ and had an instant find. Great to tick this off. Thanks for the quick replacement and messages. Now to make my way home to the south side of Sydney. Streak day #23/28. Had an hour break in between work so popped over for a find. Managed to grab this one straight away. Again I didn’t have a pen today so I couldn’t sign log, need to replace it in my car tonight. This cache could use a keyring to help extraction.

Caching with morty8888 around Bella Vista today. Here we started the day with a quick find in a familiar cache location TFTC

Headed NW to Bella Vista area with Oldmorty and this was the first of the day. Nice easy one and a stunning morning for it. TFTC!

Found with shaneo58, We came down from Newcastle to Do the Metro adventure Lab and picking up some along the way. Found in the first place we looked.

Well I drove the one hour to Comp tennis this morning only for it to be raining. After some discussion and radar checking we decided to start play regardless.
That turned out OK for a couple of hours and then a rain deluge came.

That was the end of tennis but I wanted a cache find today and had earmarked this one so once in the geomobile I put on my gum boots and drove off through the downpour.
This was a tricky spot to find for me but once here there were plenty of parking spots.

Lucky I had those gum boots on as the bend in the road corner was flooded!

Found the cache quickly, luckily, so SL and replaced the cache then waded back to the geomobile.

No problem parking just up the road and even figured I could check a logical hide without referring to the gps. Nothing immediately found so checked the arrow and moved to a second option, where cache easily found but required trampling on plants in a garden. Maybe first option would have been a better placement and a safer approach walking to the bend in the road.

Today we headed out to Bella Vista Farm for their monthly (first Sunday of the month) open day, and to have a go at all the new caches that have appeared around the farm and along the walk from Bella Vista Metro Station since our previous farm visit back in April. We have wanted to get to one of these open days ever since that April visit (only the outer grounds were open on that occasion), but every time the date came around something always seemed to block it, either geodad was working, the Metro wasn’t running, or the weather was really bad (very wet). But today everything fell into place, catching a 280 bus to Chatswood and a Metro train to Bella Vista Station, then a walk down to the farm. This was the 7th of 7 finds for the day.

Our last cache stop for the day, before hopping on a homeward bound train at Bella Vista Metro Station, was at this cache not too far from the station. And it was to be a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Rainbow Bears and YolkieB.

At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###Out for a few quick finds today to keep the caching calendar ticking over. Walked from don’t fence me in to this cache location. Now I knew where the cache should be, the question was how I am going to get there with this very long grass around I am such a chicken and I twice came face to face with a red belly black since doing geocaching ! But my predecessors gave me a bit of a flat area and I managed to navigate to the cache from there yeah! TFTC
