We planned to visit Mt Taranaki today but hadnt realised how busy it would be on Easter Sunday, and how limited car parking was. After waiting in a queue of cars for some time we gave up and went geocaching instead. This was #1 for the day. A quick find and ok here. TFTC MIOW4.

Raining at home but 5kms up the road it’s not! The Geo Rain Gods came to our assistance again! A quick find after the farmer down the road had come past to check us out. All good here TFTC

07-Aug-23
Waited all day for GigiEv to get home but of course it started raining after school..so left it for awhile to see if it would clear or not..5pm came around and it was raining even harder so we had to bite the bullet and find a cache close to home for today. A quick find on a ‘traditional’ dot day. I’ve taken up the challenge to complete this by the end of next year..only 50 something days to go! TFTC (not sure if I put the right month on the log)

Really appreciate the effort put into this cache trail.
*Thank you MIOW4 for adding to our enjoyment!*

ww9 & I visited all (current) ones in this series over the 3 days we were in the area.
Generally quick easy finds, a few with wet logs but mostly in good condition.
This trail was the main reason for our visit to New Plymouth and surrounding towns.

Joint {FTF} with Go_Zz. Getting out of bed this morning, checked the phone and 3 new published caches, check the first one and it's 1 road over, less than 2kms away (as the crow flies). Quick shower and ask Go_Zz "do you want to get a couple of FTFs? Get out of bed, I'm leaving in 5mins"
Coffees in travel mugs, off we go up the road to this one (by road this is the closest).
Go_Zz found it.
Easy parking close to the cache. Thanks for getting her out of bed.

After finding 21-20-19 I was so close to this cache so I thought I’d stop n find it even though other geocaching friends had found it first.
Pulled up to GZ and my spider sensors were telling me someone is watching so I turned to find a car parked watching, luckily I had parked in such a way I could retrieve the cache sign it and make out like I was on my phone as they drove off smiling at me like they knew what I was doing.
Anyway TFTC only 17 more in this series and it’s completed
