I found this cache on my Mega Walk #24 - a 33,000 step through Laverton to Truganina Park to Skeleton Creek and back to Laverton. Another quick success at this cache. Thanks from D B-A
Nice, easy find. Logbook is full, but I managed to squeeze my name in. TFTC
12 May 2024 1:32 pmCaching buddy: Yin~YangNice one, read about Beverley nice little park in her honour.Thank you HoodedHooligans for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it. Tftc
Its COTY noms day! Teamed up with Geoturtle37 and TeamSmokeyBear to check out some caches on this side of town. Similar to the last one, except this one took me ages to extract! It was hanging on for dear life, and just wouldn't let go! Again, the logsheet is quite full, but we managed to squeeze our initials along the edge. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, HoodedHooligans ~~
Was nearby so thought I'd come past Lavo for some smilies. Before long I had this one in hand.Found a few before!TFTC
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 150Sidetracked Cache Finds: 118Over this side of town with Rebel Acts to attend an event and hopefully, put some smiles on the map.Was great to finally find some solved puzzles and catch up with old friends at the event. This is one of the caches we successfully found today, Cheers for the cache
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Another quick find, once again the log is totally full. Thanks HoodedHooligans for the cache.
A nice quick find in the dark on a quick stopover on the way home. Thanks for the cache.
I think that this might have been the fastest find in this series. Pleased it was a quick find as there were a couple of muggles about that seemed quite curious as to our being there. Maybe it is their park, lol. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
It was a beautiful day for a scooter ride on the nearby trail series! Afterwards, we stopped here to find this cache. HoodedHooligans, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. Happy New Year!
*End Of Year Cache Rush On A Bike Adventure #7*Find 6 of 7 for the day. Apologies for the generic logs. I'm trying to get 44 caches today, and have a limited time span to do it in. Worse, I'm on a bike, and it is wet and grey. Thanks heaps for the cache, and happy Third Day of Christmas!
On my way back home from work this evening, I decided to quickly swing by this area to try and find this cache. I parked my vehicle just outside the park and made the quick hop over the guard rail towards GZ. Following my GPS, I found myself in a bit of an open area, with seemingly no suitable location to hide the cache. I checked a few areas that could possibly have been hiding the cache, but it was not there. After a quick check of the clue, my attention turned to an item I had not yet checked. I managed to successfully locate this cache after a few minutes of searching around this new item. Unfortunately however, the logsheet was full and there was no room for me to sign my name. I will send an image through to CO instead of posting one here as it will slightly spoil the hide TFTC
On our way back from a Meet and Greet with the Curnow boys. We tried to grab it on the way but it was bucketing rain and we didn't want to get soaked before our photo op. A quick grab on the way back. TFTC
Found by The Empire Nestled in the heart of Laverton, a tranquil suburb of Melbourne's western suburbs, I embarked on a leisurely stroll through its picturesque parks. I'd left these caches for too long. Scarred by clearing out my home area many times overs the years and being caught out for a quick cache for a souvenir, these 6 caches close to Point Cook are starting to disappear so they need to found quickly now. The park itself was a serene haven, where towering eucalyptus trees provided shade over neatly manicured lawns. Following the winding paths that crisscrossed the park, I marveled at the birdlife that called Laverton home. Native parrots and lorikeets adorned the branches, their vivid colors creating a striking contrast against the green backdrop. It was a reminder of the natural wonders that coexisted with the suburban landscape. Thanks for the cache HoodedHooligans.- M
Another quick find. Log is now full.
Thanks for this little series. One we couldn’t find. Onto the last one.

I had to work today then at lunch time one of the jobs was canned so a decision was made to head West to see what I could find.
So while attending the Cachemas lunch the other week i was sitting next to a CO who told me I had to do their new caches at Werribee and I also ran into a couple of other CO’s a while ago who said I should do theirs as well.
So here I am heading to Laverton then making my way to Werribee on a chilly but fine Melbourne afternoon.
I started this series during streak month and after being muggled out at #1 I was muggled out again today so #5 it is.
Nice and quiet around here today so I was able to make a quick find.
Thanks HoodedHoligans TFTC.

Found this one with the pacman, well hidden with a good hint, I normally dom't do playgrounds, but this series is good. Thank you hooded hooligans for the cache.
I thought I'd continue the July Wheel-of-Challenges Streak Star souvenir campaign past the required 28 days and until the official end on the 6th August - so it's now an unusually long streak for me caching on day 31 of 35.
After avenging a DNF at Laverton Parks #6 we continued to #5. I thought the hint didn't help but it all made sense when we got to GZ. Again Muddy was onto it straight away.
It's definitely easier to do these when the rugrats are away at school.
Thanks, HoodedHooligans.

What a lovely sunny day to be out caching with fellow cacher ConnieandRick. Love finding these hidden reserves and nice to see that we had it to ourselves. Thanks HoodedHooligans for placing this cache and contributing to this great game. Happy trails, Deanside
Out for a few hours with Deanside, started on this trail and then went further afield. Another day of sunshine, good finds and lots of laughs. It was one of the parks here that we both had a go on the flying fox (probably this park?). My first time on one and what great fun.
After searching high and low and walking around and pulling on things that could possible be a cache we finally found it. Great hide. Found with premedbeast
Clever! Very very clever!
After looking over it about 10 times, this one had us stumped, for an easy difficulty! Ha ha.
It simply just appeared to us in the end!

A day off work and with SpursNorth in company, today was a perfect opportunity to add more smilies to the map around Altona Meadows and Laverton. There was the occasional drizzly shower which kept the muggles away but on the whole, it was a nice winter's day for caching. Overall, 22 finds with just 1 DNF which I consider a success.
We made a quick find here. Thanks HoodedHooligans.

Out for the day with my brother,Ketchthor. A few showers hear and there which made it muggle free. Some very good spots we found threw out the day. TFTC
There weren't many places to hide a cache here, so it became a nice quick process of elimination.
Many thanks to HoodedHooligans for the cache.

Today was free so a perfect opportunity to work on completing the hard souvenir for the favourite fan challenge for this month.
I did a mix of ad labs and whatever I came across mostly on bike trails on the scooter today and managed to complete the hard souvenir so now I can relax for a while.
Another deserted park ... that's the good thing about cold days.
Thanks HoodedHooligans for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Up early all bright eyed and bushy tailed so I went out for a cache before work. Cache is in good order and replaced ready for its next visitor:) Thanks for the hide.
With my usual route to the office (not that I hardly ever come here anymore) blocked off, I had to find an alternate route to work. Having already exited the freeway I really didn’t want to go through the pain of getting back on so decided to work my way through Laverton via these caches.
A nice little series of placements, all found in good order! Had a fair idea of what to expect here and my expectations were met resulting in a quick find of a well concealed cache.

Dragged out the deadly treadly and took it over to Altona for a few caches in the parks.
A lovely morning to be out and about.
I had got used to the last two hides and so looked somewhere similar for this one - Wrong!
Nice hide in an empty park.
Thanks, Robmc.

Cool cache. There was a shirtless guy, but I don't think he understood what I was doing.
Lovely sneaky hides to find with echidna44. Thanks for the cache HoodedHooligans
A big day caching in the Altona and Laverton area with pinnacle333, we were able to enjoy the sunshine at last.
Lovely parks, easy find. Thanks HoodedHooligans.

Another very clever cache in a well thought out hiding place. Laverton has some lovely parks.
Always liked these hides, had to wait for a bored flat dweller to go back inside. Lovely little park. T4TC
Our last stop for today.
We found the cache out in the open
We signed the log and popped it back where we thought that it should be.
Thanks to the HoodedHooligans for this hide.
We have enjoyed the little parks.
It has been a wonderful day, sunshine, no wind, pleasant temperatures and some caches to find.
Time to head home now.

Replaced cache, after some difficulties, hopefully the new one will stop being on the ground. Let us know if you have any issues. H.H.
Found blown out in the open and on the ground. Placed back where I thought it would be hidden. Not sure it will stay there in the wind. It did make for a quick find though.
Thanks HoodedHooligans

A very wet and windy afternoon, but that did not deter us from hunting down the Parks of Laverton caches today. This was a simle find, thank goodness, as the wind was really attacking the umbrellas.
Took Nothing, Left Nothing.

Not usually in this area early on a Saturday morning, but LeeLees boxing gym had her placed at Altona Beach for what felt like a commando training session.
Session completed (survived) the goal was to also pick up some of the newer caches in the area. After a walk along the beach, over breakfast LeeLee noticed some new caches had come out nearby.
The difficult decision is now, there are some FTF's up for grabs, there are alot of local cachers, or do I continue here with muggle friend.
FTF hunt it was.
After a FTF and joint FTF we knew the others were gone so easily made our way around ticking them off before heading home.
Thanks HoodedHooligans for creating and placing for all to enjoy.
