We Dutchies are happy traveling with our campervan from Cairns to Brisbane Found this cache on our adventure TB in: 0TB out: 0
It was a beautiful day to spend time at both the zoo and botanical gardens ... so relaxing to wander around ... despite the heavy construction at the front entrance. There was a worker Muggle not that far away from GZ. My cover was to take plenty of photos at various angles while I searched and reached for the cache. Luckily Muggle was out of view during the retrieval, signing, and replacing stage.TNLNSL.TFTC ...
Lovely arvo around the gardens and the zoo, and a lovely end to have this to find! Great spot. TFTC
I'm a linehaul trucker. My wife Geomum007 and myself got to Rockhampton tonight with a load of farm fresh produce from down south, had our dinner and thought we would have a short night time stroll before bed. That included finding this cache in the lovely Botanical Gardens. Love the location, love the cache, the sounds of the night time wildlife was beautiful although there was something that sounded a bit grumpy thrashing around in the undergrowth. TFTC
Out for an evening stroll with hubby TheKiltedKacher. Found the cache with no issues, signed and replaced. TFTC!
Rockhampton to GladstoneSunday & lots of families feeding ducks near the lake.A couple of caches in Rocky to find before moving to Gladstone. On arriving at Gladstone we st up camp & did a tour south to Tannum Sands. Thanks HBerry7 for hiding this cache.
Thanks to the taller half of the Addallfam crew, we found it! Reading other logs will help you find this one. TFTC! Is indeed a beautiful park
A lovely big tree, had a nice time exploring the patk.Today started in the lovely town of Yappoon. I was surprised at its size and popularity, but worthy as it is a nice place I'm pleased to have visited. We spent the best part of the morning exploring coastal caches, esrhcaches, a virtual and adventure labs which saw some great locations.Back into Rockhampton to complete the adventure lab in the botanical gardens with a few caches while there. I quite enjoyed the gardens, a nice area although not so caravan parking friendly but we managed!Leaving Rockhampton, iit was out to Mount Morgan for an earthcsche, an AL and more caches. The mine was an incredible site, such an old mine with its buildings and chimneys, a nice town too. A short travelling day, despite hoping to cover some ground, we stopped in Dululu early, a free camp in town had us spending the evening around a campfire with other campers. Thanks for your cache.
Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Next up to Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Firstly heading back south for some Canberra time.TFTC. Yeppoon has a drive through Chinese Resturant. Nice.Did the Earth Caches at Yeppoon and then the Ad Lab that took us back to Rockhampton. Now venturing out to more Earth Caches at Mount Morgan and beyond.Camping at Dululu.Nice tree climb or more of a leg stretch.
Found it before a corporate golf day in Rocky! Thanks for caching. One of my favourite spots in Rocky during my decade here, but left four years ago.
Pretty certain that I was in exactly the right place after looking at previous comments and photos but no sign of the cache.
No find in such beautiful gardens. Fig tree climber shelter climbs. No joy. But what a beautiful place
Our plans had significantly changed due to the rain. We had plans to visit several locations around the area, however, none of that came to fruition so we had to settle with some caches in town.We noticed a couple caches in the botanical gardens and we always enjoy visiting those back home so we decided to make our way over before heading back to our accommodation. By the time we arrived it was pouring down but that didnt stop us from getting out the car and having a look.We wandered over to the likely suspect and after a quick once around and a reach up we had the cache in hand. Beautiful spot along the river despite the rain we enjoyed the visit. Thanks for bringing us here.#4299 - TFTC
Tijdens het bezoek aan de dierentuin van Rockhampton en de Botanical Gardens hebben we deze cache snel gevonden. Terreinwaarde was voor ons een goede hint.
Found with Joshwyatt83, Zigzoggy, Dinokirk and extreme-optomist. Nice find. TFTC!!
Found with Joshwyatt83, Zigzoggy, Dinokirk and XtremeOptimist. Xman got this one.
Thanks Hberry7 for placing and maintaining this cache. Quick find after barking up the wrong tree.RVCL.
Easy find with the GeoTeens. Still there and dry with the wild weather recently. Didn't have a pen though so didn't write in.
Heading home and after a long days drive staying in Rockhampton for the evening. Went for a walk from my hotel on the south side of the river and ended up at the Botanic Gardens - lots of birds around as well.Took a bit of hunting and glad I was tall here.TFTC HBerry7
Find#5755Nice hiding place What a nice road trip to Sydney and surroundsThanks for the cache
A lot of digging with four muggle kids! They had a ball! Unfortunately too short to get the goods. Ant attack!!! Muddy fingers! Not good for short kids! But a happy find
Found by Mary and David at 15:40. Didn't have to get a TOTT from the car for this one. Our thanks to HBerry7.
We spent a bit of time wandering around the zoo (I just loved their otters and Valkyrie the Wedge-Tail eagle) and grabbing a bite to eat, we went for a walk around the Botanical gardens.Sandra spotted this one as I was watching the swans.---Over a week ago we made a trip up to Yeppoon to visit family and some of the big things dotted around the state. On the way we stopped off at Noosa Heads (big pelican) and Maryborough before staying in Hervey Bay (big whales) for a couple of days to break up the journey. Whilst in Hervey Bay we went out on a glass bottomed boat and explored Big Woody Island and Round Island. Onwards again and we visited Childers, Gin Gin and got stuck in a crazy tailback a few kilometers from Miriam Vale (big crab, big donut and big Magpie). It would have been rude not to pick up a cache or two on our journey North. We visited Great Keppel and did some snorkeling (and Jack spotted a large sting ray), Emu Park to view the Singing Ship, Rockhampton (big bulls) to visit the zoo (which I wasn't too keen on) and just about every restaurant and coffee shop in Yeppoon. It's a lovely part of the world. On the way back home (boo) we visited the caves at Cania Gorge and stayed overnight at the retreat and then on to the Three Moons Silo Mural, Gayndah (big orange) and then onto the Bruce and straight back home.Thanks!!#3519
Nice hide with a good view. Found in a spot my father had already checked at least twice. TFTC.
After enjoying a cuppa with troobloo and the rosella's, we decided to beeline to this cache. Luckily no-one was around so a quick find. Great lake! Thanks for the fun
Visiting qld from vic and staying with muggle friends in emu Park for the week. We drove over to Rockhampton this morning and had lunch in the botanical Gardens before I found a couple of caches to continue my ongoing streak. Today makes day 81.
Thanks HBerry7 for the cache.
Thanks HBerry7 for the cache.
Previous activity helped a lot. Be careful because where-ever the cache is hidden, there may be ants. Great to bring binoculars to this place as the bird-life is great. TFTC.
Currently staying at Rockhampton, today we decided to pick up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Enjoyed exploring the area, cache and contents were in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache and adding to our geocaching experience today.

While in Rocky visiting friends we took a short trip out here for the afternoon.
We've been to the Botanical Gardens before but not to this area so it was nice to see it and take in the scenery.
At GZ the cache was found after a bit of scratching around in the right spot.
TFTC.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 115. Rockhampton Day 1. I headed south and west to reach a few caches today. I had my most effective time around Gracemere. I then visited the southern suburbs of Rockhampton, with a fun walk around the Botanic Gardens. I had to venture over the river for the last for the day to reach the number I was hoping for.
I visited three caches in the botanic gardens, one I managed not to find. This one had me a bit confused, I really thought it would be higher, but as I was getting ready to ascend, I saw it in a deep leaf filled cranny.
Thanks for the cache HBerry7

Not too sure where too look because the location kept changing on the compass. Is a very nice spot to visit and to feed the birds and turtles though.
