Had a short caching day with goingplaces2, but a successful one. Found this one OK. TFTC.
It was time for a caching day with ilook4geo while in the Penrith area. This one was found quickly and easily as it was pretty much the only hint feature around. Thanks for this cache placement go to Booo Booo.
Puzzle solved several months ago. After half a day at work and before joining my muggle teen at a Y12 exhibition, some quick finds this afternoon. Thanks Booo Booo for sharing this cache for everyone to enjoy.
Out for a days caching with the gong gangsters. We came looking for caches in the Luddenham area. There were plenty of new caches out here since we were last here. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining the caches we found.TFTC
Between Steeba, The Rats, and myself, it is over three months since we've all been home at the same time. So with us all back in the same place at the same time, it was the perfect reason to head out caching for a day. A cold and windy Sunday in western Sydney, aiming for a few series that we hadn't yet found. We found a heap of caches, of which this was one. As always the journey is better than the destination, and the banter made the journey.Cheers
Out and about today with The Rats and Hoojar around Western Sydney tackling a number of solved puzzles, multis and whatever else we could find along the way.TFTC!
Luckily I had a hi-vis jacket in my car, so i wore that whilst I pulled over next to the sign to retrieve the cache! Lots of cars whizzing by but I'm sure the hi-vis made me invisible! TFTC
The last of four DNFs to fix from my last venture out this way, fixed. I had however forgotten which cache this was, so I was confused for a moment when I pulled up at the coordinates and didn't recognise the location. Once I realised it was a moment's thought to work out where the cache would be, and several more moments to reach it as I'm regulation height.
Signed as CDI - Canberra Day Invasion. isopeda, barb2e, Kittykatch, albida33, fitzy_1965, Joolay, MinnieK, Contesta, Smittengranny. Day three of the long weekend (Canberra Day) of caching. We had solved the puzzles in the weeks and months before this trip, ALs, multis and some of the Wherigos were done at location of course.
Sorry about the generic logs - logging after days of crazy driving and navigating with not much time between the caches.

30,085. Found during an invasion of the 'Bargo up to Penrith' region on the Canberra Day long weekend with a great bunch of Cachers.
With the Canberra Day long weekend upon us, a number of Canberra region Cachers performed an invasion of the Bargo up to Penrith area. Canberra Day Invasion 2023 (signed as CDI23) consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, isopeda, barb2e, albida33, smittengranny, Contesta and myself. Day 2. An early-ish start soon had us on the road grabbing more caches. This was one of many pre-solved puzzles/wherigos in preparation for this trip, and a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on the list.
Thanks Booo Booo !!

Day 2 of our Canberra Day invasion saw us start early in Bargo and finish in Penrith for the night.
I was down with a migraine for most of the morning but after the good drugs, I was much better by the end of the day when I could contribute a bit more.
We spent the day picking up trads, multis, solved puzzles & wherigos along with the odd AL thrown in for good measure.
All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 3. For the next chapter of this trip there were two farewells and an early start fro breakfast in Picton before we got underway. Today the group was made up of Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Isopeda, Smitten Granny and Contesta. We still had a plenty of caches to do and we got underway on a warming day. The group signed CDI23 the same as yesterday. In addition to all the caches we had planned for the day, we also had to get to Penrith in time for dinner. We did a mixture of roadside traditional caches and the GFA series. We ended the day with caches around Warragamba. Another long fun day caching in this region.
As we reached Wallacia, the caches became mostly part of the GFA series and we did a bit of a loop to visit as many of them as possible. We managed a break in Luddenham then finished the loop via Mulgoa.
Thanks for the cache Booo Booo

Today is Day 2 of Canberra Day (Holiday) Invasion (20)23 for a great group of geocaching friends who travelled north from Canberra and surrounds. It was to see us successfully find over 60 caches with a few ALs as well.
Big thanks to all the COs for the placement and maintenance of these caches that contribute to our enjoyment of our incredible country.
All logs found were signed CDI23

Great, my fourth DNF from eleven searches on this trip.
At least I know this one is really gone. I spent a while going in circles and wondering what I was missing, before a woman pulled over on her way out of the nearby farm. She said, "Are you looking for a plastic box thing?" I said, "Yes, I am actually.". She replied, "A guy who used to work here doesn't like anyone having fun. He threw it away a few weeks ago. I'm so sorry about that."
On to the next cache then.

Solved the puzzle a while back, unfortunately I still had my original hint in mind ie. BOT , it pays to re check the hints when you go out looking for it . On arriving at GZ I circled the area where the hide maybe , not quite sure why i was looking down when the hint indicated it was more the opposite direction . I then spotted the cache , oh dear ,I need a TOT here fortunately a natural one was close by and I was able to capture and return. Interesting different and clever cache FP . TFTC Booo Booo
We are on another short (four day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for three nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect the latest GFA Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches that have appeared around Luddenham & Wallacia since our last visit to the area, and will have a go at the new GFA Adventure Lab. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains to visit some previously unexplored caching locations, revisiting areas around Penrith & suburbs that have new or replaced caches, and maybe finish with a visit to the Londonderry area. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base. This was our 3rd find of the day (day 1), and 3rd find of the holiday.
After collecting two of the GFA Adventure Lab stages we next arrived at this previously played & solved GFA Wherigo cache, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Thanks Booo Booo for the puzzle & cache.

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently a "few" months behind. But that's still over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed back to Luddenham today for more *GFA* series finds. Went for five and got them all - including a previous DNF.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Nice easy WIG and a nice easy find to go with it. Unfortunately, I had to dodge the neighbours...
Signed, replaced and then looked for a final target amidst my solved puzzles here.

I was early for the GCNSW Riley's Riverview so I decided to do stop for a few of the GFA caches. An enjoyable series of puzzles to solve over the past weeks as more and more were published. So now it was about time to turn a few of those into smileys.

What a great way to spend a sunny Sunday, of which there hasn't been many of late; get out with frazeydaze from the inner burbs and into the rural countryside and find some of The Booos family caches.
Our target today was to carry on with the GFA Series from Booo Booo which we thought we had completed on our last visit to the area, only to be advised by Booo Booo that there was more to come. Woohoo. After these caches we proposed to head south to the three solved puzzle caches in The Dilly series by The Booos.
Here we had a quick find thanks to the hint and thanks for placing this cache Booo Booo.

Thanks to all the Booo's for making my day... I have been solving a lot of their puzzles and today was the day for a caching raid on them . Thanks also to the wonderful SueDan83's for chauffeuring and giving me such a wonderful day when I needed it... your generosity warms my soul and has helped me immensely. Oh and I also got some of Sue's Cherryripe biscuits and got to use Dan's "squid catching" pole... woohoo!... fantastic day. Sorry for the generic logs but it was a long day... 53 finds, 4 DNF's and surprisingly 2 FTF's. So a HUGE thanks to all the CO's for giving back to this wonderful game.

Wow, that was a nice surprise on the last of my 15 finds in this series today ... couldn't believe it when I came upon a virgin log book!!
Thanks for an enjoyable series Booo Booo ... now to see if I can finally solve the five that remain for me to be able to complete the series.

I chauffeured the ladies up to GZ and was told to go and turn the car around whilst they found the cache. Should have left them stranded on the side of the road and gone home without them. However, who would make me a cuppa at afternoon tea time? Ok, I'll wait obediently for them.
