We are on a 2 week holiday, having had this solved and staying nearby I checked it out. When I first spotted it my heart sank how the hell am I going to get that, so I came back today with an esky in tow to give me that first step up to retrieve the cache and sign the log. Where theres a will there is a way TFTC and a fav point for the fun.

Wanting to attempt some Mystery Caches around the place (To stop me losing what intelligence i have left Big Grin You know what they say: "Use it or lose it") i decided to attempt this one first before going for more in this area.Well, if anyone can make an absolute meal of something it's me and when i attempted this one on my own i thought i had it solved after it took me all of at least 50 minutes...... zzzzzzt! red light on the checker Surprised I was wondering what i did wrong, i was so sure i had it solved. It was the next day i had the light bulb moment and i had it solved in about 10 minutes, wow! i AM smarter than i though ha ha Big Grin (yeah right!) I most definitely went down "The Wrong and Blinding road" not to confuse that with a famous Beatles song Big Grini tried again on the checker and the checker smiled back at me SmileToday whilst on my way out to Glenorchy i stopped by this one (i have passed countless times on foot when on my usual lengthy walks from Rosny Park to Rokeby via Pass Road Wink) to make a swift find and sign @ 12:12 on Wednesday the 20th of March 2024.Scrambling up trees is a thing of the past for me being "Linguine Arms" with an injured one at that, so i just gently elevated myself on up in slo-mo, ha ha Big Grin signed the log and returned the cache as found with absolutely not a Muggle in cooee... as i like it Big GrinThanks for the brain-drain, which i brought upon myself and yes, i never knew those actually were words Big Grin... i can think of some others when i got the red light on the checker but here is not the place for those WinkTFTC and the Puzzle, dencoxclan Smile

Much better find in daylight, hanging around there at 6am had a high cringe factor. Also, much easier to see in daylight. Fortunately we had a suitable implement with us to complete the task at hand. Found with Swampy. The restraint mechanism is the devils own handiwork. Have a Fav point for it. TFTC

VK7HCH and I went out caching to grab this one today. Arrived at GZ and after a short search the cache was found. The TOTT assisted HCH in retrieving the cache for signing.
Thanks for the cache!

After a couple of full on days caching The Devil series we planned on a slightly easier day today starting with a wander around Bellerive doing the Ad Lab there. Later we found a few solved puzzles around the area. We added this one to our solved list late last year when we tried to solve as many extra puzzles as we could in the areas that we knew we would definitely be visiting on this trip. An interesting puzzle and some weird words for sure. We arrived at GZ and had a look for the cache. Oh, there. OK, we can do that. The log was signed doon after. Thanks.

I found this cache on the final afternoon of my trip to Tasmania from Adelaide to visit family and friends and find a few caches.

Today was spent doing a few specific caches of interest around Hobart.

Weird words indeed! It took me a little while to find the correct tree, but then the cache was soon spotted and logbook signed.

Thanks dencoxclan for the puzzle and the cache.

Caching in the area we found a few caches and this was one of them.

Having previously solved this puzzle, today we made a quick find at GZ. Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Hi dencoxclan,
I solved this puzzle fairly easily a while ago, great game, thanks.
Today I found myself on this 'other' side of the river with a little time up my sleeve, so parked quite close and wandered towards GZ, waiting for my GPSr to 'settle!'
Eventually it did, and a quick find, looking from the right angle.
Lucky there were no muggles about!
Thanks for the cache and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

We've spent the last month or so busily solving puzzles around Hobart in anticipation of our visit.
Today we visited this cache and added our names to the log.
At GZ it wasn't too hard for us to pinpoint the right spot and reach the container.

Out and about with the Rafa family caching.TFTC TNLN log dry. A grey old day with drizzle for most of it but a little ray of sunshine saw us come out to attempt to find several caches before dark 3 attempted 2 finds and 2 insect bites were gained.

Had this one solved not long after it came out but it was not until today that I had the chance to do the search and find. They certainly were weird words.

Thanks for the puzzle cache dencoxclan.
Yes there were some weird words there, but have seen a few puzzles like this before, so favourable coordinates soon appeared.
This afternoon headed out with RLD4963 in between showers and made a quick find at GZ.

For once I solved this one as it came out but even with teh finals to hand I knew full well the memsecs would be on their way already so didnt bother going out in the dark.
Today with a goose we parked not 40m from GZ and made the short walk to GZ and after a quick look round he spotetd the cache and did the signing duties.

With both myself and goose having a bit of a cold it was to be a short trip out today and we only bothered since it was international Geocaching day TBH.

Thanks for the cache.

A quick solve when this was first published but left it for another day. Today is that other day! I've been sick since Tuesday but wanted to still find a cache today. Stainless steel rat picked me up and after a fuel and coffee stop arrived here to look for the cache. After a bit of a poke around I spotted it and SSR did the quick retrieval and signing.
Thanks dencoxclan

After work and before tea a quick geocaching trip to find a couple of very good caches.

As I was going to the eastern shore anyway they certainly were not out of the way

Sitting at home watching the commonwealth games (male membsec’s home town..Birmingham) and doing a jigidi geocaching puzzle when the phone signalled a new cache. Both solved it quickly and we debated whether to wait till morning or take a risk tonight!

Temperature not too cold so out of our warm house and a shortish drive before we stopped and took a short walk to GZ. Chose the wrong tree at first but then make membsec spotted the container. Up went lady membsec and we were happy to see an empty log book.

Signed and replaced how we found.

Thanks for the puzzle.
