Not sure about previous logger [Allanwaddo72](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=0d15967b-6e95-4d95-8760-b3083e187c5a) statement, about rotted away and seized shut, as the container and log were still tied up high in the tree.JABs
Thanks found the geocache- however it appears it had fallen out of the tree and rotted away on the ground therefore it was unable to be opened due to being seized shut
Couldn't spot it from the ground and with the recent? tree surgery that had occurred I didn't want to make the climb without seeing it first. Will keep on watch.
With the number of still unfound caches dwindling for me in town and more and more streak-like challenges approaching from the Wheel it seems like doing one or the other tree cache can’t be circumvented for much longer. Although tree climbing caches have often proved to be my nemesis, for this one at least spotting the cache was pretty easy. In fact, I did so some time ago while passing by. Knowing what was required, I returned today, did the climb and was actually in no time up in height of the cache. A little bit of a stretch and the paper was in hands while people kept walking slowly along the walkway, not noticing that there is a big drop bear just above them. After the signing duties were completed it was an equally easy climb down again. Thanks for adding to the trail along here.
This was a good little tree climb. Nice ladder climb from limb to limb up to the cache. A decent DT to keep my average up too. Thanks GeokidNQ for the exercise.
Out attempting to pick up another tree climbing cache and happened to see the Townsville FlexiCachers pick up their first *FTF*
{*FTF*} with the Flexi mob.
Fun little climb with lots of excited onlookers encouraging me. It would have been embarrassing to fail. Some will find the climb challenging.
