On our way to the top of Cape York we seem to have taken a wrong turn We owe the timely finding of the caches on both Thursday and Good Island to our tour guide and staff, Dirk Laifoo.The taxi stops and Im out and running for the whole 3 meters it takes to get to where the cache is hidden.By the time the taxi turns around its nearly in hand but Im on the wrong side of some spikey plants.I rectify that and find myself with a log thats wet. The lid wasnt on properly.I flatten the log out between layers of my shirt, which still isnt much improvement and decide stuff it, the taxis meter is still ticking, time to move on.TFTC Venimus, Invenimus, Signati

Kiwinic and myself are having a nice night in TI over from Albany in WA. While we are here we are grabbing all the caches available to us. A quick find for us here today doing a self walk tour. TFTC

After taking the morning ferry, it was time to explore and pick up a few caches before our helicopter trip later in the morning. The caches worked out to be a good way to see the sights and ended up at the places that had been of interest.After walking along the beach, popped up here to this cache. The hidey hole was quickly spotted and the first dryish log today.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.Now with a detour to Thursday Island.TFTC. A nice quick walk by.
Well this sneaky little hide has eluded me for several work trips and after a helpful hint from a fellow cacher our signature is on the piece of paper. Thanks for hiding such a great cache in a beautiful location and a favourite point from us

Today we opted to catch the ferry from Seisia to TI and spend the day exploring TI (and collecting most of the caches on the Island.)
After arriving, we had about 90 minutes to kill until our bus tour. We were all keen for a walk and there were caches to be found.
Second up. My eyes were painted on here, but Micjor and Swellerfungus soon spotted the well hidden micro.

I’m on day fourteen of a road trip from Brisbane to Cape York with Swellerfungus micjor and Jezndez ……. today we are visiting Thursday Island, so finding some caches while here.

Out here for the day on Thursday Island and had some time before our bus trip to look for a few caches. Micjaw found this sneaky little hide with eagle eyes. Coords were excellent. Thanks for the cache.
Visiting TI for the day, skipped the bus tour for a self guided geocache tour instead.
Such a beautiful place. Happy to spend a little time searching here until I spotted something very sneaky !

We took the ferry across and back for the day and walked all over the island to find all the caches, except one. Interesting history here and lovely spot to visit, but was very windy today. We got blown around a lot. Over thought this cache, but found it in the end! TFTC
