My husband and I are on a trip from Brisbane to Charleville to find some caches to qualify for some challenges , especially GC9YTB9 to get camping and fire nearby attributes for September and livestock nearby.Once at GZ i soon spotted this cache. What a great day to be a geocacher. Thanks for all the fun
Easy find. No long grass to fossick through, which was an added bonus. Cache in good condition. We appreciate the effort you put in to plant the cache. Thanks for the adventure, artesiancacher. Visited 25 August 2024.
The weather was rather dismal today, but some geocaching always brightens it up. We enjoyed all the caches found together with goingplaces2 and each log was replaced as found after being signed with both names. TFTC,
Part of today's caching activity with ilook4geo was aound Charleville. Decided to collect a few more local caches before we move on. The was no problem in finding this one and signing the log. Thanks for this cache placement go to coralcoastcacher.
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach. After QOGM I travelled solo to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide via the north coast of New South Wales, central NSW and the Riverlands. We spent two solid days of entertaining caching in the area around Charleville, Cooladdie, Augathella and Morven before heading along the Landsborough Highway to Tambo and Blackall. Thanks for the cache artesiancacher!
This was a nice quick find for our crew here today. Thanks for placing the cache for all to find.
This was a nice quick find as we were driving around town. Thanks for placing this cache for us and fellow cachers to enjoy.
We are heading up to Longreach for the last QOGM with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 naturally stopping to grab any caches that come on the map aiming to get as many LGA's as we can.We came down to the Cook St cache to try our luck and once we were out of the cars the GPS pointed us to a very likely location and we converged from many different angles and again Papi4506 got his hands on the cache first and our acronym has been added to the log.To save room in the log we signed PDGC (Papi Drove Geoturtle Crackers)Many thanks for artesiancacaher for the cache.
Found as I travelled up from Adelaide with FeatherWaite to the QOGM event at Longreach. The plan was to head to Cunnamulka via Broken Hill and Tilpa, then up to Charleville to complete the caches that had been published since we were last there a year or two ago. From there we were planning to go to to Longreach via Barcaldine, although the exact route would depend on how much time we had available. The weather was a little warmer than we had anticipated, but it made for some pleasant evenings as we camped out along the way. Most of the caches were found without any issues and were in reasonable condition unless otherwise indicated. Thanks artesiancacher for the cache.
Heading to Longreach for the last QOGM with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506.We stopped along the way to pick up a few caches and signed the log as PDGC.(Papi Drovers Geoturtle Crackers)Thanks to all the Co's for making this trip, more enjoyable. Signed and replaced as found.
On our travels we found ourselves in Charleville for a free night and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, this was a surprisingly quick find today, thanks for placing it.

Accompany with DeafVW, DeafCat and DeafPhantom. I am appreciative of them because they are young and have more energy and good equipment as I didn't bring Ladder with me.
Handy one of them can climb so I just stood and watched.
Thank you for organising the cache and hunt.

Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 7. Well the trip was well and truly underway. I have never been to a QOGM before, and since this was the last one I decided to head up there for the fun. We are staying in Charleville for 5 nights so I can really hit all the trails around the region. Today we are doing another of the puzzle trails outside Charleville, Trads along the highway, with the usual town caches as well. This was the next find of the day. A quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, usually as F65 A33, replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks artesiancacher !!
We are now on our way to Longreach for the QOBM event next month. As we missed the big event here, it was now time to grab some of the caches around the area. Another big day today, doing some of the trails around the area. Today it was with Liz and Bruce, JenPeteH and introducing some Newbies.
Stopped off here and made a quick find.
Thanks artesiancacher for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

QOCM this year (my second) had a very slow start. With the first couple of days I was a little under the weather & mostly house bound; I was appreciative of the group to battle on without this key member ??. The weather has been perfect & the cache hides great as usual some more great than others. I dont recall any DNFs but then again, who wants to! The gadget caches were fabulous, the challenge caches challenging and will remain so for a while yet as I try to qualify. Therefore, a bit of work to undertake.Once finally in the field I signed as either Muggle 65 or MB&C2 on muster days. Thanks to the QOCM team for putting on another great event.Found this cache with The Green Geckos??????, Captain Monkey 96, Princess 1005, MummaBear66, T1NY96

Firstly I will appologise for the boiler plate log. This does not take away from all the effort that the QOGM placement team and other geocachers have taken to ensure that we have a fantastic QOGM.
This log covers from around the 20th September to the final day of QOGM the 2nd of October, 2022. We attended many events and found untold nuimbers of caches that included puzzles, multi's, Whereigo's and AL's. We made new friends and caught up with old friends, both locals and geocachers. The meals that we had at two of the events where out of this world, such that we cannot give them a star rating as we do not have enough stars. At the final event their was so many prizes, we feel that you whould have been very unlucky to leave this event without something. This year we were not able to team up with our usual cohorts and were invited to join another group who were fun, enthursatic and well organised. It was very different for us to not be the driver. We look forward to hopefully attending next years QOGM in Longreach. SL TFTC

After attending the CITO this morning we decided to try and collect all the remaining caches in town. It was a successful afternoon and we managed to find all of them just before we ran out of light. Thanks artesiancacher
Generally, entering the Dungeon Dimensions results in insanity, and if you do get something back, it isn't what went in. But some people come out mentally intact.

Today we stayed mainly in the town area. A few new caches published since we had arrived into town.
In the morning we did a CITO at the date farm

Found during QOGM 22 and with silverfox1970 and firebatman88. We always love coming to these events and finding caches in the local area. This year we took a week off work to attend and go caching.
