Thought about the hint and the cache was in hand. Lovely hike and thanks for the caches!
Staying overnight at an Airbnb not very far away I took a wander up the road to capture a few caches before dinner.Descending the long-way down - purely for the numbers! And my final find of the day.I was pleased to see I had the right idea. A quick find. Thanks 0B80B8#4746
It took me just a bit long to click where this cache was hidden. Once the geobrain kicked in the cache was quickly snagged and tagged. TFTC.
Our first geocaching adventure with our wee man in a backpack (10months) and our 4 year old and all the family present. We parked at the top headed down the Ross track down to the mine then up into Mackesy bush. Ohhhhh so many stairs, especially that track up to mackesy. But 4 year old managed all the walking so we are proud of her. Only 1 DNF today but it's a night cache so not going to log as DNF, and we managed to find one we have DNF twice yay..... thanks for all the hides. Divided up tracks to gain more finds and sent raptor to car. Tjay and 4 year old walking out to memorial drive. This was there last find but perfect for the 4 year old to find by herself
Out for an after work walk and decided to do the Mackesy Track. This was our last cache as we left the track. Phone was putting us all over the place, but our caching senses kick in and we eventually located it. TFTC
1799. 5:38 pm. We couldn't search on the way in as there were muggles enjoying nature. A quick find on the return. TFT(Attack)C.
Decided to come this way and grab the new caches in the area. Parked up not far from the track and made our way to GZ. Took a bit to work out the hint. Once located the hint made sense. Signed and replaced. TFTC
Gee I have to pat myself on the back sometimes for putting my hand in the right spot. After a brush and spray I'm off to get all the cache on the track. A not too difficult track with lots of steps at the Memorial Drive end. Better than a slippery slope I guess. A first time on this track, nice to see more smiley faces in the Parahaki bush.
A cache a few streets away from home so went for a quick wander this morning.
A couple of log entries from the day before .
Good to see a nicely upgraded track since the last time I ventured here years ago.

I saw this in my email last night but didn't fancy dashing out then. I contemplated a quick trip up the hill before work but with a 7.30am start and it being only 4°C sanity won out. I kept updating the cache page during my breaks and with no action even by me in my short 1/2 hour lunchbreak I figured it was worth a chance.
I was going up to my Mums and hoping to be there between 5 and 5.30pm. Well I figured it wouldn't add much time and I do love a first to find hunt.
An easy trip to gz and then the hunt began. I should have guessed where it was straight away but I checked out a few other places first. Opened it up and was glad to see a blank log. Another {FTF} 4.23pm. Thanks for the fun
