Like the others with the hint of Portland, was holding a bit of moisture but not as much as the others
Thanks for an awesome power trail. Really enjoying the walk along the pipeline. TFTC
After completing the current path cache on the other side of the parkway, the three of us walked over the footbridge to the pipeline where it was a nice quick find. We logged it with our pen and replaced as found. Now we decided to grab one more a bit down the pipe.TFTC, #159
Jennyfromthefarm and I had been talking about doing this series for a while. Today we headed out on a warm sunny winters day. We meet at #1 then decided it was better to park a car at the start and end, so drove the second car to the end and worked our way in reverse on this series.
Thanks for placing this series, we really enjoyed and found this with ease.

OCW discobob3 today and we met and parked at number 1 but while sitting in the car I looked at the distance and said let’s leave a car at each end which I’m very glad we did.
It was a decent walk with some varied terrain and three offshoot adventures to find other caches that weren’t very far off the trail.
Thankyou for placing and maintaining these caches along the pipeline. It was a worthwhile trip today to do it all in one go and we were happy to report each cache was found in good condition.
The walk took us approximately three hours at a relaxed pace.

We are using this series for one of Mrs Gaztek’s knee replacement recovery walks. We attended a nice Bold and Beautiful swimmer gathering in Manly earlier then came up here and parked just below the reservoir. The plan is to head as far as #8 stopping at the even caches and return doing the odd ones.
#8 was our turnaround point and from here we headed north and across the road overpass the back down to the pipeline and #7. Found in the usual spot. There’s a lot of up and down in this pipeline and we wonder if there’s a pump somewhere moving the water. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

Got the last one on the day for us, have to come back another day because of the light
Out visiting a colleague today (which ended up falling through) in the area so to the opportunity to start this pipeline trail. As a water engineer myself it was great to walk amongst this stellar piece of infrastructure. Tftc vk2df, a great series!
I decided that I would find last caches in the power trail.
Excellent work. I liked the trail.
Thanks

#18 MTB 21/01/2023 Gordon to Manly via the pipeline. Thanks for the brilliant trail vk2df #1830
All the 4Rods and the geodog ventured out to find this series today. After a few caches little geodog found the going too hot and had to rest. Team 4Rods then had to split up as geodog needed attention. When the series started publishing we decided that we would find all the caches in the power trail in one go. We loved loved the crafted cache containers. Excellent work. Loved the series, and it gets a FP from us. (apologies for the 1 generic log)
Thanks team vk2df.
Thanks team vk2df.
Seventh find of the day. Found it just riding up the fire trail now that I know what and where to look for. TFTC
Another quick find - second place I searched. Lots of bikes out today which did make finding an appropriate searching gap a small yet easily navigable challenge
And that’s #7. This one has a critter in it. Will have to come back and do the rest soon!
(4 of 4 today)

###DOCTOR WHO###
Out for some finds and decided to attack a section of the pipeline trail that is both familiar and in between two sections I've already snaffled!
Parked at the fields and then made my way to #4 so I could grab them in order and finish close to *The Hademobile*.
Found all four with the only problem the occasional muggle. As before, took the pencils out of the ziplock bag to reduce the chance of a puncture.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final find of this section of the trail.
As I approached GZ two BMXers jumped the shark... erm the end of the pipeline, and stopped next to GZ. These youngsters really should know better - it's just not what you should be doing in your late 40s!
Well at least not getting in my way.
So I walked past and they quickly moved on, vowing to meet up and do it again! Do their kids know what they get up to when they should be at work?
I returned for a quick find.
Signed, replaced and then back to the car - past similar aged hooligans with drones on the playing field.
Thinks - maybe a drone would work trying to spot all those caches high in trees!
A favourite here for the series.

#7 Spent a lot of time in the Acquatic centre when I was a kid. Also played a ton of Baseball over the years here also. TFTC!
OCW Its_Dozzie grabbing this Pipeline series. A pleasant stroll from one end to the other. We left the Brewmobile at one end and then drove in the Dozzie Jeep to #1 to start our journey. All hides were easily found and in good condition. Thanks for the series and TFTC

Together with Brewmaker I walked along the pipeline for quite a few caches. It was an enjoyable walk and each cache was a good find. Given the pipeline runs all the way to Pymble I expect quite a few more caches to be published!

The rain was holding off nicely as I walked along. I knew I was nearing the cache when I could see cars passing on the Wakehurst Parkway not far away.
I must have seemed suspicious walking along here on a rainy day as a couple of muggle bike riders who were very near GZ had a chat and kept watching me, and that was before I'd even done any searching or anything suspicious. I was worried about how I was going to look for the cache but when I got close they chatted some more, looked round at me, nodded and rode off really fast.
Now that was just as well as I had trouble finding this one as it was not near where the GPS indicated GZ was located. Once I found it I checked the phone and it said 1m which surprised me as usually the GPS is much more accurate - must be the rain which was now starting.
So after finding the final in the trail so far it was the 1km hike back to the geomobile. I was forced to put up the umbrella as I walked along the track as it was raining. It was like walking in the Gibber Desert, which I've done!
Not a bad walk in the rain, but ...... somehow I managed to collect a leech!
How can that happen on a track like this and I was wearing gum boots?
I'm giving up this hobby, a tick on Monday and now a leech today.
Maybe not but I hope I don't come across a snake tomorrow!

TFTC- we had fun finding this one and leaving a little surprise inside for someone else.
We had a pen, but just to note the pencil inside needs to be sharpened.

Humming the Johnny Cash tune "I Walk the Line" I set out to walk the pipeline on a lovely spring afternoon. After parking the geomobile in Wyarama Street the journey commenced with Pipeline 1 through to 7 and after 5000 steps I was back at the geomobile. Job done in 75 mins. Not many muggles this afternoon, 1dog walker, 2 joggers, 4 bike riders and 1 walker, me. I'm glad that I had a walking pole, not only helped with the walking but also with the cache retrieval.
Thanks for placing this cache and thanks for this series vk2df which is up to your usual high standard.

Having come home from having made three FTF's, and just about to log them, the computer signalled two more being released, even closer to home. Shoes back on and away to the pipeline again, hurrying before it got dark. Fifth FTF for today.
