Great parking made this cache a good choice to stop on our way home from Albury. Thanks Thewins5 for the cache.
A wet and miserable winter's day, and a certain PE teacher getting bored on school holidays, so let's attempt some park and grabs...So we picked up a few 'randoms' out Federation way...A soothing hum as we located the cache, TFTC Thewins5
A nice day for a drive in the sunshine. I had looked for this one a few months ago just on dusk with no luck.A nice quick easy find today. Thanks Thewins5 another of your many caches converted to a smilie
After spending a couple of days around Rutherglen, BettyBoo3747 and I have headed across the border. A short loop through towns we don't usually frequent.A good collection of spiders as well as the hider though this was a good spot to be.Luckily a quick find. Thanks, Robmc.
# 21619. After a couple of busy days in Rutherglen Robmc and I headed over the border for some random caching. A loop through the dry countryside on many dusty roads and we managed to round up some of the further away from home caches. No humming here today and fortunately a quick find and sign. Thanks Thewins5
Out and about today exploring the area with Geowife and Geodogs. Quick park and grab. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC

Came along with goingplaces2 to find this cache. Container was located, the log was signed and all was replaced as found. Job done! TFTC.
On a bit of a country tour today with ilook4geo before getting to Corowa and doing some more cache hunting in town as well as around that area. This one was no problem and after both names were added to the log all was put carefully back into place. Thank you to Thewins5 for placing this cache.
Lots more orb spiders to be found here. Also a couple of wasps nest so take care.
Thankfully a nice quick find so we didn’t need to hang around too long.

I was fortunate enough to be invited on a roadtrip from Adelaide to attend the Rutherglen mega. Across the week we cached with many different teams and signed the log various ways, but most often my own team name/ initials, or as Fabulous Randoms. I spent most of our time with GoodLook, LiB and feathertop, but also teamed up with AnyMules, Brisal, micaparamedic and others.
What a beautiful area of the world to explore via the lens of geocaching.
Thank you very much for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

What a mega weekend, in more ways than 1, we were out & about with our caching buddies, the Suscoe Duo. We enjoyed reading the cache notes and made a very quick cache find, helped by the hint.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Not sure this cache is in line with the Regional Geocaching Policies - Australia.
Thanks to Thewins5 for adding this cache to the gameboard.

We planned to get down to Rutherglen to try and collect all the caches in the area before the mega so we could relax a little more as Mega’s always seem to be a little hectic. With the Canberra day long weekend on the horizon a plan was hatched, and accommodation was found. Our attack group ended up consisting of Rapidlywild, DARKSIDEDAN, Sui_001 and only half of the FurfacesLL team as the other member is broken, seems we are taking turns. We ended up collecting all the trails we had intended to do and many others in varying shapes and sizes and types.
After finishing up the Brolga Bill's Bike Trail (BBBT), the Brolga Bill's Puzzles (BBP) and the Rutherglen Beginner Challenges with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506 we went our own ways. We spent the rest of the day driving around collecting everything and anything we came across. All caches this afternoon were signed AB+G's (Adventure Boys and Girls) This team consisted of DSD, Sui_001, Rapidlywild and myself. A very enjoyable and successful afternoon of caching.

Plans were put in place for a Rutherglen attack over the Canberra day long weekend with the FurfacesLL, DSD and Sui. We spent 4 days away from home and collected a number of caches of various varieties.
After attacking the Brolga Bill's Bike Trail (BBBT), the Brolga Bill's Puzzles (BBP) and the Rutherglen Beginner Challenges with The Drovers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506, we split and went our own ways. We spent the rest of the day driving around collecting the Ladders series, trads, multis, virtuals and basically anything that came in our path. It was an enjoyable day caching around Rutherglen. This afternoons caches were all signed as AB+G/AB&G (Adventure Boys and Girls) representing myself, FurfacesLL, DSD and Sui_001.

It all started with the computer. Had he known what was to follow, he would have never logged on that day. But the truth was there was no way to know what was about to happen. So Dave pressed the start button, the computer booted up, the screen came alive, and everything Dave knew to be true no longer was.
The day had begun on a bright note. The sun finally peeked through the rain for the first time in a week, and the birds were singing in its warmth. There was no way to anticipate what was about to happen. It was a worst-case scenario and there was no way out of it.
The amber droplet hung from the branch, reaching fullness and ready to drop. It waited. While many of the other droplets were satisfied to form as big as they could and release, this droplet had other plans. It wanted to be part of history. It wanted to be remembered long after all the other droplets had dissolved into history. So it waited for the perfect specimen to fly by to trap and capture that it hoped would eventually be discovered hundreds of years in the future.

I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

After completing the trails, we went our own way for even more fun caching.
Well thought out and well placed caches, and a fun day was had by all.

At home managed to extract the log (will replace as I pass next time). However, the magnet was split into 4 - must have been a truck that ran it over....
We eventually found the cache about 5m away on the ground and it appears someone has either driven over it or monkey stomped the hell out of it as it’s as flat as a pancake.
We tried to prise it open a bit with a washer to save the log book but that didn’t really work.
We just sat it back on the structure.

Maybe some one doesn't like this - seems to be an odd thing to happen.
Wonder if I can salvage the magnet.
I will try and get out to this one in the next week or so

**Found whilst in Corowa for a couple of nights**
The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual CO’s, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals don’t know about. I, like most cachers, look for more that a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most CO’s take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less traveled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.
It has been wet, wet, wet up here with some minor flooding and a few road closures around. Happy pants decided that we should go for a drive and grab a couple of caches. We actually had an Adventure Lab on our to do list today but grabbed any at the way points. A nice quick and straight forward find here today (after dodging puddles) with good coordinates and cache dry and in good condition.
Thank you Thewins5 for highlighting this area and for adding this cache to my real-life treasure hunt. Appreciate your efforts.

**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

Out with Snap Happy today and this was our first find of the day after leaving Corowa and decided to leave the closest cache to us in this series (Riverina Highway Junction) after having a look at the long wet grass and water laying all round the area and decided it wasn't ideal to get soaked shoes and socks at our first search of the day. Anyways... we headed off to this one after wusssing out earlier and even though the gz was surrounded by water we somehow made our way into the structure and kept our feet dry and also located the cache which was also nice and dry, took Harrowang pt for our troubles and continued on our way towards Howlong. Thanks Thewins5 for the hide.
FTF! - gone at 11am. It seems our caching day started and ended with a maintenance check on our own caches - the first in Wangaratta and the last near Yarrawonga. Our plan was to head into Federation country to collect some new caches and an AdLab. We headed for the Hummer and were excited to be the first to sign the log sheet. Left: our music pathtag - in line with the theme of the cache. #9107 TFTC Thewins5 at this unusual wayside structure.
