Unfortunately after a streak of finds out day came to a grinding halt with a DNF.
I DNF the cache. I asked other people which have found it but it looks to be missing or someone has moved it.
Think we had developed a pretty good idea of where it should be, but of course we could have also been wrong about that. Cheers
Had a big old look, with 5 sets of eye's, don't believe the cache is still here
Came back for our third look with the Geo Cocks Collective with no luck had a long look with a good idea of what we were looking for. We think we know where the cache used to be due to some previous logs. Please let us know if the cache is still there
Beautiful autumn weather so went for a trip to Adelaide's north western suburbs. Found a collection of mainly traditional low D/T caches with a puzzle and letterbox thrown in for luck. Cleared a few more of the Gone in 60 Seconds series - those caches found in a Mada CX5. Not many people in the Port...even less at Gillman. Cheers to all COs for putting out these caches. TFTC. Unfortunately this one was a DNF.
Had a long search and after a bit of looking through previous logs, we had a pretty good idea of were looking for, but no joy. Might come back here with some other cachers and have a better look.Still loves the stunning views though!
After lunch had been quaffed I headed out for a few more and this was the first found. A nice area, again, and a nice easy find. The swaps and swag are a bit tight in he container, managed to re;place best I could. An early start today with a breakfast event in recognition of Pi Day (I went to one year and it was held at 09:26:53, how's that for Pi Nerd? Anyhow, after the event I had some chores including heading across the city to the airport and then back for other stuff. An opportunity arose after lunch for a quick hour out and about and managed a few more finds to keep my visit stats ticking over. Thanks to all COs for their hides and subsequent maintaining.
Now thats the most interesting cache iv found today loved it gets a fav what a beautiful place tftc
#19262 - 7:39:00 AM; Day four of "The Great Leap Forward" road trip and the big day has arrived. The plan for today was for feathertop and I to gather as many caches as possible against the various criteria where we were missing the 29 Feb add on. All up I managed 21 caches, 2 events and a webcam, while feathertop grabbed a couple less, as she has cached more heavily in Adelaide than I have over the years. All caches were found in good condition and, where appropriate, were returned as found once the log was signed. This was the first cache for the day and only a short stroll out the front door from our accommodation. Checked a couple of options before turning up the cache and signing the log. Apologies for the largely generic logs TFTC Chellybeanss
Found today in the company of Luckyl10n. We were staying 146m away so a must find.Danny Found this one quickly. Many thanks
This morning, I went to New Port for business, and I found two caches on the way. This was the last find for today.I had been there before, for geocaching, but failed to find the cache.Today, I came back, with an extra hint form a previous finder.Cache has been found easily. I was searching at the wrong area on my previous attempt.Good size for the cache! With lots of treasure inside.Took a little toy, left several Christmas cards.Signed the log.Sealed the bag and placed the cache back. Thanks for the cache, Chellybeanss. A favourite point added.----**South Australia will host a Leap Day Mega Event on 29th February 2024. GCA1DNA: The Great Leap Forward. Count down: 27 days.**
This was tricky for me. PAFd a previous finder which helped me narrow the search. The cache might need some TLC. I was focusing too much on the tree itself. TftC
TFTC. After finding ourselves unexpectedly in Adelaide for 2 extra days, what do you do with the extra time? Cache of course! Happy caching and safe travels!Grabbed travel bug
We are visiting my home town for my birthday. Took the opportunity this morning to pick up a few caches and look for a suitably sized one to send my birthday trackable into the wild, this one fit the bill perfectly.Lovely spot! Thanks
A lovely evening for a stroll along the lake while my grandson was having cricket training nearby. A quick find thanks to the hint! I was going to drop off a TB but unfortunately there wasn't room in the unusual container! TFTC
My niece was getting an introduction to kayaking, so I took the opportunity to take a stroll around the lake.Found this interesting container after a minute or two of searching, the obvious location.TFTC!
It was time for another tuesday adventure with the cat, today we were heading to the port for our playground and surrounds, found after a short search, intially went to the wrong area but once the GPS settled we found the cute cacheTFTC Chellybeanss
Took some finding, although was in the most obvious place, I hadn't thought that place was accessible initially. Tyftc
On my bike heading down the road to pick the Ute up after having a huge $$$ service.
I did a little detour so I could grab this cache.

A bit of business took me (Jay) solo, well out of our local area with a bit of time to kill.
What else would I do on a cool but sunny winters morning?
Not a hard find but a great cache.
Thanks for a visit to a part of Adelaide I'd never been too. Shame I didn't have the tribe with me

That was a pleasant surprise. Found relatively quickly using the good hint as a guide. Do for size in such a busy area
It was quite windy today, and I took a while to locate cache. Nice work with the container.
Thanks, Chellybeanss, for a cool cache.

One to fill the calendar today, thanks Marlee126 for your help. TFTC Chellybeanss
Unusual concept... usually the baggie is in the cache!
A nice little cache hide concept though, well hidden, and no mint tins in sight... so gets a fav from me
Much thanks for the cache placement and ongoing care and maintenance Chellybeanss .
Well done on your first cache hide - enjoy getting out and finding some and we look forward to more placements one day too!

City, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching... with Purrfect Di and Jack.
Careful caching as always, wherever we go.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp )
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
... until next time!

That was different. I nearly got spotted by a sneak-up-on-you muggle. All good though tftc
Nice to find a good size cache and good coords. Even met another cacher and we hunted together. Moving TB along, TFTC!
Fun find with AussieGal88 under the cover of darkness following a merry birthday dinner for Peas (of Peas&CarrotsForever). Very cool cache!
Stealth employed to stave off curiosity of muggle fishers and night walkers.
Very pretty spot indeed!

Found while doing a caching run through the western coastal suburbs. Good coordinates made for a quick find on a well-stocked cache. Thanks for the cache Chellybeanss!
Had to venture over to this side of town to see my doctor and do some shopping. This was the seventh of eight caches found before it was time to head home.
Made this one a lot harder than it needed to be before finding cache as indicated by hint
Thanks Chellybeanss for putting out this cache for us all to find.
Cache #13015 for me.
This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).

Our geocaching goal for 2023 is to fill in all the days on our calendar.
The 12th of February didn't have any finds, so today we rectified that.
The cache was not in the first or second or third ... place we looked. In fact, we looked for probably five minutes, maybe 10, before reassessing the situation.
TFTC Chellybeanss.

TFTC. Checked some obvious spots first but found reasonably quickly.
Co-Ord's are off a wee bit
Log book is a post-it pad so sadly they are already coming apart.
Unfortunately the clever Container is literally jammed with trinkets

There was a special cache delivery. That’s nice. Not quite a container!

Rode the gravel bike out here after work to stretch the legs and get some fresh air - not much time out of the office today
Anyway, like a couple of previous finders, I over thought this and got a little dangerously low
Then I sat down and thought & looked at things logically, started looking again and bingo, there you are my precious
Log sign as no cache returned to its hiding place

Thanks Chellybeanss for this interesting cache container. I've been meaning to check out this spot for a long time, knowing it was the first, awful port. Welcome to South Australia! So thanks for bringing me here to this now lovely park area. Out with makingpie.
I was heading down to Semaphore to get my daily mystery cache and the draw of the green dot was too great. I parked nearby and wandered over. Wow, there are not too many places for a regular sized cache. I check a few usual spots and then expanded my search (coords are a little off which is to be expected). I managed to find the cache and returned to the seat to sign the 'book'. It took a while to get out, find and sign, and return to the container a little easier for the next person.
Thanks for the cache Chellybeanss, nice work on your first hide. Find #7890 at 7.45am.

Absolute misery on the water today. The heron was bobbing up and down in a mild breeze. Full sunshine. No rain. As I said absolute misery.

The Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving got delayed due to expected storms and we went for a Wednesday Wander instead. As usual the group was in search of solved puzzles and anything else coming into view. I picked up S.A. Sewer Rat from the rat's nest, found a few on the way to Blackadders den and he jumped in. [^] Then we made our way down the Port and started heading south. We met up with Astro around grange and continued southwards. Not all of us required every cache so here are the caches I was able to put my name in the log.
Whilst I was looking in the totally wrong place the Snake found it elsewhere.
***Thanks Chellybeanss for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Woo Hoo, Time for a Wednesday Wander For some of the Befuddled Puzzlers.
Today the group started with the Starfish picking up the Rat from the Rat,s den.
Then down to the Snake's den and change cars.
The Snake parked the Geo mobile and we waked over to GZ.
Then we started to search.
The cache was spotted and retrieved.
We stamped the logbook and returned the cache. Tftc

The usual weekly wander of the Befuddled. This Wednesday wander began with the Starfish picking up the Rat then meeting the Adder at his pit.
The target was around the North West suburbs grabbing a number of newer hides as well as a few that the Starfish needed for smilies. Later meeting the Star man who would join us for the rest of the afternoon.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
A fun hide that initially had us searching in , as the hint suggested, a not so dangerous location with no luck. A widening of possible hiding locations when the Adder quickly found the prize in an eve safer location.
Thank you for the cache Chellybeanss Find Number 10287 on 18/01/2023

Such a nice location. Good hide. The contents of the container were near impossible to extract. Please take care putting things back in the container.
Today after getting an FTF down the road I came for a run around the area so stopped by this one before heading off and made a quick find on this cache, something with a difference
Thanks for the cache

Owl met up with JJ52 and Sushilord for a social gathering but that is impossible without a cache or three. Found the cache and then was sprung by one of the COs. Lovely to meet you and may you place many more!
I had planned to meet Doctor Owl and sushilord at West Lakes for lunch and once we had finished we decided on a couple of caches in the area that none of us had found. [^]
This was our first and after reading the hint I spotted the cache right where the GPS was pointing. Hadn't seen a cache container quite like this before. On our way back to the car were were met by one of the CO's and had a bit of a chat.
Thanks for the cache Chellybeanss.

After meeting Doctor Owl and JJ52 for lunch and a chat it was time to find a few caches.
This was our first stop and it was nice to find a different type of cache container. Even nicer to be approached by part of the CO team while walking back to the car.

I had spent the morning at my house and for coffee with Contact Zero, then went to visit family down south, which is when this cache was published... of course. A 7 minute drive from my house and a 40 minute drive from my current location at time of publication.
I thought since that I was that far away, no way I would get there first, I put it on the watchlist and 40 minutes later nothing had come through.
I thought it had been too late by that point so I left it more... still nothing. Someone even inquired as to why I hadn't found it yet, I also messaged other nearby people alerting them. After all that the watchlist turned up nothing.
Some of my family was elsewhere and some were asleep, so I thought I'd go for it.
My phone was on 23%, so I swung by home to pick up a torch so I didn't use phone battery, so I could log it straight away. I actually use courtesy when it comes to logging FTFs...
I arrived at GZ, so many people still walking dogs and all that still... I picked my moment and made the find quickly. I checked the log... empty! The feeling never gets old.
I enjoyed coming here. Thank you for the journey Chellybeanss.
My 6th FTF of the month, 20th overall.
This bring's my find count to 2361 on the 13th of January 2023.
