Logs
Visited the cache today and cleaned out the container, then replaced the wet logbook & pencil with new log sheets & pencil in their own separate internal container, so hopefully that will keep the log dry regardless of moisture within the outer themed container. Happy caching everyone
Forgot my pen but found it! Thanks! After looking in this one and not finding a pen, I didnt open up any of the next ones either (oops!) Time: 8:47am
TFTC - we are finishing up for today. Thanks for a great winter day activity for the family!
Fun fun. Needed to beware people walking past at this location... managed it without looking too creepy on the 3rd try.TFTC
12, was dry, with a pleasant walk down a small alleyway Was able to complete and get away from work early, and always had an eye on this series.

Jennyfromthefarm and I had been talking about doing this series for a while. Today we headed out on a warm sunny winters day. We meet at #1 then decided it was better to park a car at the start and end, so drove the second car to the end and worked our way in reverse on this series.
Thanks for placing this series, we really enjoyed and found this with ease.

OCW discobob3 today and we met and parked at number 1 but while sitting in the car I looked at the distance and said let’s leave a car at each end which I’m very glad we did.
It was a decent walk with some varied terrain and three offshoot adventures to find other caches that weren’t very far off the trail.
Thankyou for placing and maintaining these caches along the pipeline. It was a worthwhile trip today to do it all in one go and we were happy to report each cache was found in good condition.
The walk took us approximately three hours at a relaxed pace.

This will make you laugh. I reported the water leak from yesterday. Sydney water have no record of a main on their system. Tftc.
Last one of five today and back to the car to put the heater on. It’s been a quick but damp visit. We’ll be back for more before long. SL TFTC Cheers…. Gaztek
Found on a great caching day following the pipe. This was my 2nd day of doing so to clear them all out. Tftc!
I decided that I would find last caches in the power trail.
Excellent work. I liked the trail.
Thanks

#13 MTB 21/01/2023 Gordon to Manly via the pipeline. Thanks for the brilliant trail vk2df #1825
All the 4Rods and the geodog ventured out to find this series today. After a few caches little geodog found the going too hot and had to rest. Team 4Rods then had to split up as geodog needed attention. When the series started publishing we decided that we would find all the caches in the power trail in one go. We loved loved the crafted cache containers. Excellent work. Loved the series, and it gets a FP from us. (apologies for the 1 generic log)
Thanks team vk2df.
Thanks team vk2df.
Half way there in exactly an hour thanks to my e-bike. Making it super easy and enjoyable. Knew exactly where to look when I got to GZ. TFTC
Came here on Sunday and did the first lot of pipe line. Had the day off so decided to come back and the rest.
Back to the pipeline this morning for the latest instalments in this series. Starting at 18 I walked back to 16 before relocating the car for numbers 15 to 12 then I had to relocate the car again as I couldn't find a way to cross Warringah Road after number 12. Except for number 16 all caches were quickly found with the accurate coords.
Thanks for placing these caches and an enjoyable walk in the sunshine vk2df.

A day on the Hawkesbury was planned for today but this morning it was very dark and the radar showed rain in Sydney's north so that was abandoned and I leashed up geodog and came over here for a walk instead.
We parked in Grace Ave and began our walk there.
We had just found this cache and replaced it when a muggle with a large young gallooting Rottweiler appeared down the cross path. Sadly they then turned along the Pipeline track. We sat for a while so they could get ahead maybe even out of sight but they went sooooo slowly. So we set off following slowly behind.
Well what did I see?
The Rottie pooped. She came back and picked it up then left the bag on the side of the Pipeline. This happened twice while they were in view. She looked around and knew I was watching!
I felt like grabbing the bag of poop and running after her and saying 'you' dropped this!
Why do people do that?

Together with Brewmaker I walked along the pipeline for quite a few caches. It was an enjoyable walk and each cache was a good find. Given the pipeline runs all the way to Pymble I expect quite a few more caches to be published!

OCW Its_Dozzie grabbing this Pipeline series. A pleasant stroll from one end to the other. We left the Brewmobile at one end and then drove in the Dozzie Jeep to #1 to start our journey. All hides were easily found and in good condition. Thanks for the series and TFTC
12 from 12. Nice meeting you EverestHigh. Thanks vk2df for setting up this trail.
Thanks so much for the great day discovering new areas where the pipeline appears .
12 from 12 thanks for all your efforts placing them given us a great day out. TFTC
Another quick find. I caught up with Bindi_Guider and the troupe of Trefoils, who had also found and signed Pipeline#11 just before I got there. TFTC vk2df
We were down from the Central Coast for the day and decided to start the series from this end. The CO was very generous with the cache placement so it was soon found. Thanks for a good hide.
(1 of 4 today)
After some calendar finds today, and there is a new powertrail up French's Forest way.
Thought I'd go for four, and start with #12. Not sure where the logic of that was - and discovered even less logic was involved when I realised I had Warringah Road between my first and second targets.
Still got all four without trouble.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked close and headed to GZ.
Nice easy search and a solid container was spotted. I think this may well become a pattern...
Completed signing duties, replaced and replaced and... oh, I need to cross THAT road. Ended up taking the pedestrian bridge, but didn't take it on the way back...
