Neat stop at the end of our busy day. Havareya and I went out to the islands with some friends today and enjoyed some beach time, getting photo bombed by the Snowbirds, watching the Blue Angels riding a few rides and logging a few caches.

Afterwards, we were told we had to try out the Toronto hot dogs, I have to say, they were pretty good! While we were munching down on those, we went for a walk and got the info we needed for this cache. Answers have been sent for me and havareya. Thanks for keeping this one going!

TFTC. The coach family drove in Friday from Quebec City as we are wrapping up our Canadian adventure with a two night/one day visit to Toronto. We're staying at the Delta and had a great view of the stadium Friday night (not the field as we weren't quite high enough for that) as well as the harbor. This was the last morning in Canada and I woke up early enough to find the three virtuals in the downtown area as well as an EC. This was the third stop of my morning and it was certainly not nearly as busy as it was both Friday night and all day yesterday. I was able to take my time and enjoy the scenery as well as learn about the history of the area. Email already sent to the CO with the requested answers and I'll be uploading a photo after the submission of this online log.

Day seven of our geocaching roadtrip took us out to find virtuals in Toronto, wading a short part of Credit river, and to a few challenges.

We started off with a morning walk of 5-6 kilometres to log four virtuals in downtown Toronto. Three fairly easy ones, one quity tricky, but still doable.

After this we decided to find 5/5 of the day for the seventh day in a row. This starts to look like a challenge when we get back home.

We have been talking a bit about whether it would be possible to wade parts of Credit river, and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely doable, so we will try to find time to wade a longer part another day.

We ended the day with a few challenges, before returning to the hotel to plan the next two days.

Thanks to all COs for nice caches. Qualifications for challenges will be uploaded as soon as we get back home.

Day seven of our geocaching roadtrip and today we wanted to find virtuals in Toronto, have a closer look at some of the caches in Credit river, and log some more challenge caches.

Virtuals were quite easy, well not all of them but we ended up with four of them.

Afterwards we wanted to find out if it was possible to wade parts of Credit river, and decided to give it a try. It was absolutely doable,we ended up with some nice finds there as well.

We ended the day with a few challenges, before returning to the hotel

Thanks to all COs for nice caches. Qualifications for challenges will be uploaded as soon as I'm get back home.

This weekend Schlaumeier123 finally visited Canada! Smile
Together with a collegue we stayed in Hamilton and went to Toronto on Saturday and to the Niagara Falls on Sunday. Cool

We had also a lovely time searching geocaches! Especially at the Niagara Falls they leaded us to such wonderful places, that we'd have never seen otherwise!

I LOVE the good old virtuals. Thank you for that history at that sight and for keeping the virtuals alive! Smile

I was in Toronto for the Microsoft WPC conference. Lived at the Westin hotel close by this cache. At daytime there was a sales stand with hats covering up the plate with all the answers. But as we were out partying all night and the don’t sell hats in the middle of the night I could take a picture then.
Answers submitted to the cache owner that to my surprise answered.

We were out in Toronto to watch the Jays, but made this our first stop on the way. The information was hidden in hats, but we found it. We had fun walking along the waterfront. TFTC!

Found with our exchange partner, Melissa, from Windsor. Nice walk down from the Delta Chelsea where we stayed to find this cache, then back up to our favourite restaurant in the world... le Marche. Thanks for the stroll by the water before dinner. Smile

Logging with COs permission.

Snagged this on a mildly eventful but hot Monday morning. It started by watching the Queens motorcade drive by shortly after finding a place to park, and ended enjoying the best street meat and poutine in the world outside of the Toronto Convention Center. In the middle was a morning of caching.

When I walked up to the GZ a lady who worked at a tour information kiosk approached me to inquire if I needed help. She almost immediately saw I was studying the area and said "ah, you must be doing that geocaching thing". Apparently all the visits to this location by cachers is making our sport famous there Smile She was nice enough to point out a few things of interest to gathering the answers to this cache so it worked out well.

It was a beautiful day to spend at the Toronto harbour front. Thanks for the cache!

Found after a day of caching on the islands. Had a chat with Gilbert who worked at Harbour tours. He was kind enough to help count fish....and share a little story about the change in numbers....
