TFTC needs new container. The gps leads to some poo bags, glad I read the hint and didnt try to open them
Nice find greeted by a small friend. Logged this on the way back from a run so forgot my pen
Scrubba dub dub, not even a tub.....well at least my shoes are clean. Thanks for the cache.
Out exploring Eskdale Reserve with TheLandGirl this afternoon and we kept bumping into TheGeoGermans at most cache sites, despite walking around the reserve in different directions from them! A fairly quick find here, TFTC!
Yuck what's with all the dog doo bags on the ground at the cleaning station !!??Found & signed in, our GPS was 10m out. TFTC
Was looking and slightly the wrong place but once I zone in I found it pretty quick, Didnt expect to see kauri cleaning stations such a buildup areas
**#19,299**Another one left for Mrs Geckoh to tend to, she didn't read the hint properly so spent more time looking then she possibly needed to!Thanks Glyn, another nice one ticked off.
Bit of a cheat with RuthHide and some decompression caching. I was just going through the motions and expressing despair at the number of dog poo bags heaped in a corner when the cache was discovered through very little effort from me. Just what the doctor ordered though and a beautiful wander through the bush with a good mate and the rock hound
M25: bit of rubbish, but no muggles around finding this cache. Nice find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
We intended for this cache to feet-ure first in our list of finds today. But this was de-feeted by us suddenly noticing that a muggle was sitting behind the tank. Ironically we noticed his feet sticking out before seeing the rest of him.We didn't know if he was friendly or not, and potentially he could have been our sole-mate but we didn't want to feet-ure in tomorrows newspaper as the victims of a rogue foot soldier so didn't pussyfoot around and decided to take a hike and come back at the end of our walk.We returned a few hours later and it seemed he was still there but fortunately we managed to make a quick find before anything kicked off. Whew.TFTC
Out for a short walk with friends while in the area. not been here for a few years.
I had DNF'd this earlier in the year and wanted to come back and make the find. I am sure I had checked there before as it was an easy find today. Mr and Mrs KC came with me as back up in case I couldn't find it again but turns out this was a quick one today. Nice to avenge a DNF. TFTC
Out to get a cache for the day as part of my streak, only doing 100 days max, or maybe 3 more than my best of 62, see how I go. Today I chose to come over the shore from West Auckland on the 133 bus into town, then opp the ferry building I picked up the 95C which took me to the Domain, Coronation, Glenfield roundabout, from there a short walk downhill on a really nice and warm day!
Picked up 2 of kiwiscots caches then came back up the hill to this one. Took a minute to find it and then back across the road to the bus back into town for me. Thanks G.

Thankfully a nice quick find, as I am getting exhausted.
One more to go for today.

Auckland University is back for semester 2 which means more writing and study, less walking and caching! However assignments were boring me and the weather isn’t *that* bad, so it’s time for some caching! I picked this park because there were a few caches around! I am armed w some swappables, 3 pens (as I like to loose them), a rain coat and my good trail shoes! It’s time to get muddy and grab some more smily faces!
Thank you to all COs for placing and maintaining caches!

I was here on the 11th of June? I can't believe I left so many logs in the draft folder - sorry to all cache owners!

This cache marked the turnaround point for our walk through the park today. In my head it was at the feet cleaning station, so I made a beeline for it without looking for my phone. Only after washing my shoes did I realise that cache is back on the *inside* - whoops!
A quick find when we started to think like a hider. As a previous log said, it felt like it didn't want to fit back in quite the same way.
Thanks for the hide!
Signed Snarsh and Cephy

Had another look for this one last week, but it was dark and pouring with rain. Came again this afternoon when it was daylight. Searched the same places again. Found a nice big stick and used it to poke everything. Finally found the cache after pulling up a lot of buttercups. GPS was 10m out for me. Cache was full of water.
Lesson for today, don't look at night in the pouring rain. Also don't wear that new merino top in a nice pale colour because it is now covered in mud and rusty water. Not sure the cache fitted quite as deep into its hole as when I dug it out (dug as in delicately removed with my delicate little fingers, not yanked out using a jcb).

There seems to be a bit of gouging along the top of the path here, perhaps from the previous heavy rain, wonder if cache might have been washed away...
I found the previous cache that was here without any problems. Today checked all the corners as per hint but all I found were buttercup roots..
I had a few boring errands I needed to rub today, so decided to make the day a little more interesting with a pub lunch and some geocaching.
Upon arriving at ground zero I spotted a likely spot right away and there was the cache. The log was wet, so because it was waterproof paper I just dried it off on my trousers, but apart from that it all seemed good. Thanks for the cache and the excuse to get out and walk. #1501

1st cahe for the new year. Headed out before it gets to hot. Nice area for some caches and possibly a war with another entrant coming back to diffuse any situations. Happy 2023 caching.
Cheers G 2

We were looking a bit too high on the track but the little cacher started wondering down and found it. TFTC
We had seen a bunch of new caches come out the night this one was published, and had considered going for a couple of them as we were on the Shore at the time. In the end we decided against it as we had tree work to do that night. Kicked ourselves later when we realised that on our way home we had driven right past this one. Made a quick stop on the way past today, and after contemplating exactly where the hint was indicating, I made the find. TFTC.
Needed some strawberries so decided to get this new cache while here. Been coming here for strawberries for years. We must be their best customer. Thanks for new cache. Yes, I remember several others in this area too. Cheers.
It wasn't too long ago that I found the first version of this cache so had a fair idea of where to find it and it was exactly where I thought it would be
I took the elder future finder to the North Shore Rovers car park late this morning so that he could sit a practice test with his driver instructor. With them under way I set about getting some exercise for the next 50 minutes. As the app said this cache was only 1.3km away I set my target and got to walking. It only took 15 minutes to get to GZ. I think I have lost count of the number of caches I have found near this corner. Anyway, took a pass or three before I spotted something out of place. Closer inspection confirmed the find. With plenty of time on the clock I decided to attempt the other two caches I have yet to find in this park. Cheers for the cache placement and for the walk!
Jägersmum and I were just sitting in a restaurant in New Lynn waiting for our dumplings, rice and noodles, when a bunch of new caches popped up. With a few things lined up for the evening already, we made a bit of a detour on the way here and with a couple of FTFs snagged already, got here in the wee small hours with s thick misty fog adding to the atmosphere. By now Jäger was wondering why we were having all these weirdly short walks. This one took a little bit of looking, mosyly because we did not spot it in the obvious place on the first or second pass, but after checking a couple of other spots figured it had to be there.... and it was - it was well concealed and I just hadn't touched the right thing. This was [FTF] number 4 for us for the evening! TFTC!!!
Out with Supernannny to collect a few caches on a wet and drizzly day. Having visited this feet cleaning station previously, we knew the best place to park and fortunately this was very close to gz. A quick find here with the hint.
Thanks for the smilie
