We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Ingenia White Albatross Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads, the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast, the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba, and the Big4 Leisure Tourist Park in Port Macquarie. Planning to collect some caches around our accommodation stays, and also stop-off for some targeted caches along the M1 Pacific Motorway route. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today we drove from Biggera Waters on the Queensland Gold Coast to Yamba in northern NSW, spending most of the day collecting caches and Adventure Labs accessed from along the Gold Coast Highway, with a final stop-off at Burleigh Head National Park for Queensland's second oldest geocache (we did the oldest on our last trip in March). Then headed southward along the M1 Pacific Motorway, stopping for a break at Ballina for a cache at the Big Prawn and a visit to the Summerland Antique Centre, before continuing on to Yamba for the night. This was the 2nd of 15 finds for the day (day 4), and 33rd find of the holiday. This one was next, and it took a little while to spot the cache, as we were initially searching as per the hint. Clearly the hint is no longer valid, so best to ignore it. TNLNSL, and then replaced the interesting cache container as found. TFTC GroceryStoreWalkin.Find #7191
I didn't think I was cheating using some (very useful) posted fotos as it IS a D1.5. Still, not what nor where I was expecting it & T4TC; an original container for me!!
Dont push me cause Im close to the edge, Im trying not to lose my head. Found it
Watching the air show from here. Air show is boring. Geocaching is better!! With my mum, Hayley, dad and Eve
Looked for 10 mins, nothing found except some red ribbons on a branch with nothing attached. Visiting from Canberra, so unlikely to come back here.
Hectic lads. Our second visit to look for this as it eluded us the first time, happy to say we found it (much easier in the daytime) We didnt have a pen with us to sign off. Thanks for the find
Not where we thought! Geo dog was keen for a swim and lots of kisses for PirateLinda while she had her head down looking. Tftf
Found with Twomanytrailers and Geodog Luna. After a lovely brunch, thought we'd try for this one. Luke others said GPS was off and the hint is no longer accurate. We put it back exactly as found. Thanks for the cache
Finally found, coords are definitely off. Nice park, thanks for bringing me here.
I couldn't find itThere was the string from what is used to be attached to byt it wasn't there
In the area today and for some reason we hadn't looked for this cache before. A reasonably quick find, replaced as found. TFTC GroceryStoreWalkin
This one was a fun find. Although we definitely were distracted by ribbons tied to the tree
This one took a minute to find, well hidden near the tree. The photo from the logs helped.
Miss this one the other day but after a bit of a scratch around and knowing what I needed to find I found this one. Thanks for putting this one out for all to find.
Out for a cache before starting work for the day, read logs and hints and then made my way in. It took a little bit, it was well hidden for sure but found it in the end. TFTC, a great spot for a cache hide.
In the first place we looked. First cache today thats still dry in the inside! Tftc
Visiting the Gold Coast with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO and an Event then off to convert a few coloured spots into Smilies.Arrived at GZ and a father and his children were doing a spot of fishing. I could see where the cache was so I let my geo-friends get it and sign the log while I did a fishing chat with the Dad. Lucky my boys are real Fisherman/ Boating guys so I know some of the fishermen jargon. Log signed and replaced as found and wished the family a great day with plenty of fish. TFTC
It must be summer. The events are early morning. First the CITO then an event then off to find some unfound caches with RoddyC hatzofff and imbunda. We headed towards the coordinates and found a family were settled here and fishing. We managed to check out what we needed and found our target. Signed, returned and on our way again.TFTCache GroceryStoreWalkin
Out in the Goldie area after a morning events.Nice quick find. Log signed and cache replaced as found at 11:17 am on 5 January 2024. TFTC, GroceryStoreWalkin
After an early start to the morning with two events done this morning, love my early starts. I took off and proceeded to cache around the area. Wearing high viz clothes and looking as though you are on a mission, works well when people look at you and wonder what you are up to. The recent storms had trees down in this area, so it looked as though I was doing maintenance or gathering information in the area. People just talked and left me alone. I searched around and found the cache nicely positioned as per the hint, sneaky hide. All good with this one and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to the next one in the area. Thanks for the hide.
Found it! Super fun, thank you! Had to use pictures for hints. We changed the log paper as precious paper was full and wet.
TFTC - SLLovely spot. high muggle population. Log sheet is torn and full. unfortunately we werent carrying a spare today to add.
Quick and easy find with imprezzive, cute spot log was hard to sign but tftc signed as bb and bj
Found it almost lost it though since I spider crawled up my hand and almost pissed myself! Good find
Found it, it's in a great little spot, hidden well, turn over a few rocks and you will find it
Found while on our little break on the Gold Coast.
Took a little while but persistence paid off and we were able to sign & log this little cutie. Views are lovely here this morning.
Thanks GroceryStoreWalkin.

Thanks GroceryStoreWalkin.
For my first cache that I’ve found, its pretty cool. Picture below.
Didn’t have a pen with me to sign the paper in there, but it was cool to see the names of all the people before. Look for a medium sized suspicious rock, next to a tree near the water, not the path. Thats where I got stuck

Slightly off from where it was slated to be. Still a good find. Trees that are closer to the water. Not the path one.
Here for the marathon festival. Went for a walk to grab some caches. I was not prepared for what I eventually found. Cool hide! TFTC
Such a great name for a cache when I need my quota of one for the daily challenge for this month. So came to find this here and after a few false looks found it hiding spot and gladly signed the log.
Thanks for placing it here in this nice park with wonderful views. We enjoyed the location today.
Cheers and happy caching!

Out and about caching toda. After arriving at GZ and searching, finally found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Luckily the park wasn't too busy this morning so we ventured over to the GZ area and after a bit of searching we were able to locate the hide. Great setting and thanks for bringing us here.
Found. My GPS mark was off, but help notes and photo was needed. Under suspicious rock, look for one that isn't too overgrown
