cache is still able to be found but from other logs the container has gone. i will need to go over and replace this.
Not our easiest find of the evening - our coords were a bit off, so it took us a little bit, but once we identified the correct location of interest, the cache was quickly in hand. TFTC!
It's interesting reading The Seagnoids log now, as I didn't find the container, but did find the log just lying on the ground. I tucked it near the base of the corner post. Thanks for setting this up
Wanting to achieve the Solstice Souvenir, we set out for the short walk to the Pony Ones and Twos caches this morning. It was quite a pleasant walk despite being a grey, rainy and windy day. The last time we were on this walkway it was for geocaching, and that's years ago now. It was interesting to be back here.
Having read some of the logs for this cache and then seeing the general location area we were a bit worried we'd have a lot of searching to do, but the accurate coordinates and geosense took us straight to the right spot and Mr G had the cache in hand before I even got there. Thanks for bringing us back to this walkway again and TFTC JoeyGE0.

TYFTC have never been around here despite living in the area 20+ years so thanks for motivation
Out on a bike ride catching up on local caches. Well there are many places this one could be but geocaching instincts and good coordinates meant that it was in the first place I looked. Good camo and double container, thanks JoeyGE0.
It took a while to find this cache, with Etherlord Clan's log providing helpful guidance. For us the cache seemed a bit south of the coordinates. TFTC
A trip up to palmy this morning to get the last few caches required towards the Wheel of Challenges Souvenir. No worries here.

Out and about on Easter Monday in Palmy in the company of TwigNZ and LL113, with EtherLord providing support. Soon zeroed in on GZ, took the easier path while Twig and LL battled with the undergrowth. All good in the container, tftc!
(# 7679) On an Easter trip to Palmy to grab a few caches and attend an event. A quick find. Stayed a little while after while getting acquainted with a horse who wanted human contact. Thanks for bringing me here.
It's Easter weekend, and I'm getting to spend a bit of time with some of my favourite humans.
Etherlord was due to hold an event this afternoon, but before then I was keen to get out and about and look for some of the caches that have come out in the last few months. In this endeavour, I had several willing accomplices including LL113 and Matagouri, both of whom were happy to boost their numbers, especially with Palmy being such a target-rich environment for both of them.
I've not been down this particular pathway before. We stopped and paid a bit of attention to the nearby horse before turning our attention to finding this cache. I went one way, Matagouri took a slightly easier route, whilst LL113 found a third approach. I soon located what I was looking for and scrawled all our names in the log before setting back off to find the other similarly themed cache.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Have come to Palmerston North to attend Etherlords Easter Shindig, and I need to do some caching while I am here towards the current challenge to find 100 caches in a month. I haven’t found many in Palmy so have plenty to choose from.
Out caching this morning with TwigNZ and Matagouri
After stopping to met with a friendly horse, all 3 of us approached the cache from different directions. The cache was a quick find and we were soon on our way to the next location.
Thanks for the cache.

While awaiting to join the Etherclan event I too will visit a horse or two. Following a few other eventers around the traps. TFTC

This one took a lot of searching but in the end turned out to be where I had initially suspected.
T F T C JoeyGE0.
I was heading into Palmy for ultimately some caching as the main reason I went in feel over mid morning annoyingly.
On the bright side I found eight caches and got in a couple of walks.

On my way home from band knowing I need to get a cache. Had one go at looking for this, but time was against me. Better luck this time, and soon had the cache in hand. Tftc.
It's 1.30pm and I'm finally heading home for some morning tea after helping a mate fix his roof, and then sorting out a SOS from my cousin.
It's been a busy morning where I haven't had a chance to do anything for me.
So, let's do something for me - go find a cache!
I arrived at GZ and quickly identified a dozen or so potential hiding spots.
Coming up empty after searching them all, I resorted to consulting the absent hint, and then put the phone away.
My geonose started twitching towards a particular area, so I started rooting around the hosts, gradually making my way to an apex where i finally hit paydirt.
I found a cache along this path almost 10 years ago - "Otira walkway" - but I never knew that the walkway extended this far down. Thanks for placing this cache and highlighting the extent of the path.

Although it as a hot sunny day there was no smell today which was pleasant ! I was out on my bike visiting a few of the newer caches over in this corner of town and i did not meet even one other walker or cyclist on the tracks over here which rather surprised me ...too hot perhaps !
this was fairly quickly found basically using my geo nose which took me to the right place on my first look. There was no TB in the container sadly , so i took nothing and left nothing . Thank you for this cache .

Third time here, quick find this time after a trip to the dump. Picked up TB. Thanks JoeyGE0 for the cache.
I brought along a TB with me today and hoped for a cache to drop it in, this was a nice size. Nice easy find here in the corner and added my name and TB. Disappointed to read the TB has gone missing? Maybe someone else grabbed it to move on, I hope so.
Not much caching so far in 2023 and conserving options for future target dates/challenges etc. The release of the Viking hordes a few days ago increased 'local' options so I felt confident to start to dip into nearer options when they arose. Today mrs c had a few minor chores in Palmy and consented for me to head off for an hour and a half whilst she did her retail thing. The rain was pouring but once you're wet, you're wet - right? A cheeky quick 7 finds and one DNF and soon time to collect my precious cargo again. Cheers all COs.

Thanks JoeyGE0 for placing a cache in this quiet location overlooking the pony fields.
We came to look for this one and met up with Huhugrub at Pony Number Ones. Mr huhugrub soon found this one and confirmed the new coordinates are good +/- approx 4m.
TN, added 2 StarWars cards, SL TFTC

#13,335. We continued to do a bit more walking in Awapuni, Palmerston North. Met up with searchSteve on the Otira Park Walkway. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

I had to use a different phone while my new phone was coming and it seems that the phone doesn’t do very good Coods. Updated with yeti’s coordinates

Having just managed to be first to find a nearby geocache be the same CO, from the same 'series', I decided to try for the other caches, and this was one of them.
When I had headed out this way I had not realised that the FTF was still up for grabs on this cache. But when I noticed, I wasted no time in heading over here. Like the previous DNF log said, the coordinates I had pointed me to the middle of a horse paddock that, although looked like it might have some spots to hide a cache, was clearly not an appropriate place to go. However, the pathway was, and I do enjoy a challange.
So, based on the hide style of the previous three geocaches by the same CO in the same area, I searched the pathway for quite some way either side of where the original coordinates took me to. I had no luck. Then, I wondered if the coordinate issue was a transposition/typo/typing error, so played around with some options and noticed that by simply reducing one of the digits by a value of one I got an area that was appropriate and that I hadn't searched yet. So, I went there.
I saw a likely hiding spot (for a different hide style than I was originally looking for) and sure enough a cache was found. I checked the log book (I have don't this before and found the wrong / an old cache) and it was nice and blank, so I assumed it was the geocache I was looking for. Signed, returned, and took a quick GPS reading (which the CO has now updated the listing with), although there is a little bit of tree cover, and my phone is not the best so I would encourage observation and geosense to get you the last few steps to the cache.
Thanks to JoeyGE0 for placing and maintaining this cache.
I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.

My gps was guiding me to the middle of the horse paddock. Messaged CO who confirmed that this was not correct. No luck finding this one.
