28-Dec-23

28-Dec-23
Will replace this one soon!

26-Dec-23
Did not find. Cache has been removed due to cat rescue in progress.

26-Dec-23
We looked outside. We looked inside. Nup. But now there's a cat rescue in progress??? Concerned for kitty... watching with interest!

15-Dec-23
Despite a really good hunt around, and up and down, and all over, we didn't find your cache today. SadNup... not a thing Surprised Nil. Nought. Nothing. Could be we have cache blindness. Could be we just need some more experience finding them... Wink Could it be gone??? Or is it laughing at us... TwistedThanks for the challenge anyway besbeh ,will place on the watch list and return asap or when it's been found or maintained! Cool

11-Dec-23
Heres an additional hint for the recent DNFs: inside, not outside

04-Dec-23
No luck for us today on this one, a case of cache blindness, the satelitte gods sending us askew or perhaps we need more practice until till next visit TFTCSad

04-Dec-23
Is it really terrain one ? Could i reach it without falling out of the wheelchair ??? No luck today.

11-Nov-23
Solo caching today, spent considerable time here but left empty-handed unfortunately. Will be back soon!

22-Oct-23
Didnt find, will try again another day

23-Sep-23
Took us WAY too long to find this one! Looking in all the wrong places. The pin is in the perfect place and if you just look for attraction amongst the trash, there it is. Great spot!

14-Aug-23
It took a few minutes to locate this cache. Despite accurate coordinates, the cache was only seen when one of us looked from the right angle. Thanks besbeh for the cache.

This cache has been on my radar ever since its publishing; just waiting for a day I would be nearby. I have parked in this carpark plenty of times in attending the Magill campus. So, after attending a couple of tutorials today, I made my way to this cache. After reading through a few of the previous logs I had a rough idea of where I should be looking; or at least where I should not be looking. After a bit of poking around, the darkness did not help with this, I laid my hand on the cache. The log was signed, the cache replaced, and I was on my way.

Find #7884

Previous finders hints helped immensely. Would've failed otherwise.

TFTC! After several unsuccessful searches at night I returned with geokids and geodaughter found it straight away in plain light of day. Can't believe I missed it so easily. Goes to show how a second set of eyes can really make a difference! Smile

18-Jul-23
After spotting the animal hideout nearby (fresh cat food included) I followed the coordinates more closely and made a quick find. Signed log, chatted to the local Maggies, and on my way to the next cache. TFTC

This one took a minute of searching in all the wrong places before spotting it out the corner of my eye. A classic bit of misdirection! TFTC

Steel yourself for this one Smile

Great hide! As a fellow unisa student in their last year, I understand the dedication it takes, and this cache felt very fitting!

We were on our way back home from Morialta Conservation Park and we decided to stop and look for a couple of caches. This one seemed appropriate - I've read a lot of Honours theses over the years (and grateful for 10,000 word limits!). One of my nephews found this very quickly. TFTC besbeh

Physical find for today. I too was seduced by the alcove/cat bachelor pad before realising that I wasn’t really in the right place. The GPS was now leading me elsewhere, and the hide, for what it is, took me some time to find.

Congratulations on your degree besbah, and thank you for sharing that warm fuzzy feeling with us in the form of this cache.

26-Feb-23
A sneaky hide. Once seen not sure why it was so hard! TFTC!

18-Feb-23
I can't say it was a quick find, although once you find it you wonder how you missed it.

After the breakfast event in Norwood this morning, Cournteyrose_ and I detoured via some caches on the way home.

This was a tough hide to find, an odd cat home thing near by and a search in the tree came up with nothing, a paf was had and the cache was found, maybe a hint of: INSIDE. Would be handy.

Took me a little while to find after checking out the bushes where it looks like someone has been sleeping rough. Thanks besbeh for the hide and congrats for your achievements.

This afternoon, I went to Magill for business, and I tried this cache as it’s close by.
Parked next to GZ, and started searching. It actually took me much longer than I expected, to find this cache. I was searching the cache of different size, in wrong location. I was about to give up, but finally found it. Signed the log sheet, and placed the cache back. Thanks for the cache.

Another fun find along the journey

After being busy at home for a while needed to go out for some Xmas caching. It was never going to be on the day itself so it had to be on Xmas eve. Was on the road soon after getting up, ie early afternoon, headed west then south. Top of the list were a couple of AdLabs, also included, "while I was in the area", were eleven physical caches and this was the tenth.
Found a few interesting things here before finding the cache. Congrats on doing much better at university than I did.
Thanks besbeh for putting out this cache for us all to find.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Had to drop grandson off at a cricket clinic nearby so on the way back home, parked close by and wandered over, and after a short search spotted the cache. Had to relocate a little to extract the cache and then quickly signed the log and replaced as found.
Well done on your achievement.

Found it. Took a bit of searching. I have fond memories of the place over the other side of St Bernard's road. Spent a lot of time studying at the historic house and completed a journalism BA and graduate diploma there. Thanx

16-Dec-22
Congratulations on the honours! The cache probably took as long to find, as there are plenty of options at GZ, but the trio managed a credible Bronze place.

16-Dec-22
Another day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord on a beautiful sunny drive around the hills, with a lot of ground covered...oh and a few caches as well. [^]

Congratulations on your degree, we certainly didn't get any honours here today as the cache took us way longer to find than it should have. Red Face

Thanks for the cache besbeh. Smile

16-Dec-22
Nice work on your thesis completion... something I have never done...
Co-ords spot on here... so a quick find.

Thanks

A day out caching with Dr Owl and JJ52. Owl had a plan and who am I to argue with that, it's easier to go with the flow. The day was filled with lots of discussion, catching up on news, the occasional mention of adventure lab caches (worse than nanos in my opinion) and laughs.

No distinction for us here, we looked in all the wrong places (and found interesting things) before some lateral thinking started us down the right path.

Congratulations, besbeh.
