Great to avenge a previous DNF. I searched and searched for it as did Mr Pinocchio, to no avail. I was about to give up again when the local farmer drove up and pointed me in the right direction. I had searched here, but hadn't reached far enough! Glad to finally find it, TFTC
Out with Agazo today, the name of the cache meant we knew what to look for, a nice easy find, tftc
I searched in the right spot but my big hands missed it. Nufrat came after and easily found the cache. TFTC.
An evening mission to find today's cache with rattll. Parked close by GZ on a quiet road. Searched in several places, found what I was looking for on the second sweep. Easy to miss. All well, signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Another after work expedition, with matagouri, to find a cache. No problems with parking here, and it was a nice quiet bit of road, which was just as well as it took a little time to find this one. Fortunately, matagouri had an idea what a 'San Fran special' might be.Thanks for putting this here
Been her for almost an hour cant find anything. Looked high and low we even dug in th ground.
Cant find anything searched high and low looked under rubble also in grass area couldnt find anything
Visited this cache today, all good here. Exactly as it was originally hidden. Easy to find by feeling with your fingers.
Searched for a while and the lovely neighbor came out to give me a hand but even with his knowledge of finding it previously we couldn't locate it. May need some attention from the CO.
Decided to pick a a few caches in this unfamiliar part of town despite the rain. Had no idea what we were looking for so it was fortunate we got a gap in the rain for a thorough search. Ended up being pointed in the right direction by a friendly local who has clearly met previous cachers searching for this one. Not at all certain we would have found this without the helping hand. TFTC
Thought we'd beat the rain to pick up some caches this morning over this side of town, had finally started to clear up so got a good look around. After looking pretty lost a friendly person who lived nearby pulled up and pointed us in the right direction which was timed well as we were really starting to scratch our heads. Very sneaky spot TFTC
Ah great use of an FTF gift!
Well done, so nice to catch up with you guys last night!
Have an FP
Thanks!

Seeing as I was in the area and noticing this cache nearby I headed over. Trusting my phone GPS, I found myself wandering up this gravel road while dodging a number of orange road cones before coming across an almost surreal area of tarmac heading under the motorway. Well this must be where the cache is located, and great coords certainly helped me from starting at the wrong end, soon spotted this foreign import of a cache hide, nice cache here, cheers

This was a super quick find here, as we have located a number of these San Fran specials now. Good parking nearby. TFTC

Came back for another search. A helpful local pointed us in the right direction. Signed and onto the next one.
Hmmm it took 3 attempts but then, hang-on, what’s that? A bit unexpected. I haven’t seen a cache like this. Pretty cool concept
This one proved to be tricky. Had to use the PAF method. Would you know that old fella turned up and said I was in the right place. Tftc
Was with Jägersmum when this cache was hidden. She wanted to explore this road having seen it from the expressway and wondering about whats here. Well, there is this fun little cache now. Hope we made G2 proud.
Thanks for the fun hide
Thanks for the fun hide
Didn't know what a san fan special is before arriving, but now I have found it I do
Wow....even though I know what a SanFran Special looks like...I still found it tricky. I must have been there nearly an hour in the rain.
Didn't want to give up!
and didn't want to ask for help.
Didn't want a dnf on holiday!
But I WAS kind of hoping the 70 yr old farmer that someone mentioned might
magically appear and help !
In the end I tried somewhere further from where I was initially searching and there it was!
Talk about sneaky!
Phew....thanks, I think , Jägersmum .

A family joy ride… Cyclone Hale had kept us mostly inside. So on a rare fine Saturday, we decided to get in the car and go for a drive up Highway 1. A stop at Rangiriri Pub seemed better than staying home. Of course, we had caching business too…
This one was tricky with a capital ‘T’… We did a preliminary look of the more obvious spots, then began a deeper search when nothing materialised… We’d just found this sneaky bugger when the neighbour appeared on his bike (A farmer in his 70s). He asked if we’d found ‘it’ as a previous visitor had failed. We had indeed, and because he was interested, we told him everything. He now knows enough to be a cache guardian and can play ‘hot and cold’ on request… Thanks Jägersmum. TFTC.

We spent 20 minutes here searching up to 10 metres either side of GZ and found nothing.
Joint {FTF} with gogoguises.I was sitting at home have a cold one when notification came thru. Decided to walk to GZ as not to far (2Km) and I needed to walk off some of my Christmas pleasures, Arrived n ear GZ and there was a car parked there. They were still walking around so assumed they had not found it. Mr gogoguises was still looking. After a swap of Christmas greetings I explained what I thought the hide would be. So we started searching together. Soon had the cache in hand. Opened it to find a blank log. After saying farewell it was back to my lazyboy to finish what I had left behind. Thank you for the placement.
Found it, had me guessing a little here. Good to run in to KayGeeDee on my travels. Yay, {FTF} 8:28pm TFTC
