I found it but couldnt get to itDont expect to find it without a ladder or pole
Well this was most definitely a family effort. After day care pick up, we came here for a look.Fortunately I had kbucky's tree fishing pole with me but it wasn't needed to retrieve the cache.Sami found it about 1.2 metres off the ground.None of us could unscrew the cache, so Jeremy took it over to the tennis court fence with the intention of jamming it in the wire and using two hands to open it up.This didn't go quite according to plan, however, he was able to use the fence as an improvised jar opener and soon returned with the log in hand. The paper was soaked but since it is stone paper I simply dried it on my work shirt and proceeded to write all of our names on the page. The issue then was that we weren't sure where the cache actually belonged. We chose a suitable location up the tree but the extendable pole collapsed and stranded the cache up in the foliage. We eventually retrieved it and chose a different point to place it.I'm not sure if you will get this with a ladder, you most definitely wouldn't want to risk climbing to it.*All the while Charlotte was making magic wands from fallen sticks. Bless her. Oh to be 2 1/2 years old again.* Thanks for the late afternoon family adventure xrocketx.
After searching up high for where this cache should of been we discovered it to be a lot lower. After getting inside it using the environment we sent this cache soaring high to where it should of been. Thanks to the CO for a cool cache and noworries for alerting us to it!
Very quick find this afternoon at Casey Fields, cache isn't really concealed at all - I think it used to be a lot higher? Tftc!
Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest. Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 17: TripCache #75: Today we woke up on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in VIC at the in-law's place where we will be staying for a few days now. Giving geohubby some time with his parents I thought I would take off and grab an opportunity for some 'alone' time and get some local caches that I haven't had a chance to get on previous trips. This one definitely drove me batty for a while as I didn't have a handy TOTT with me - however, resolved that with some creative climbing and foraging. Thanks for keeping up the local caches in this area.
Nice sunny (but cold!) day at Casey Fields and this was our first stop. No VFL on today but seemed to be some soccer finals.
Anyway even at 5ft9 I had no issues tree fishing with just my hand however the log and inside of the container was soaked so signed the log as best I could. TFTC!

We found this cache today on our Casey Caching Clamber. A nice quick pick up here. Our 18th cache find at Casey Fields. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Found it, definitely recommend a step stool or a little monkey that can climb trees
Found it.
Definitely not the same as the last spot.
Made my rod. But didn’t get to use it.

**Find #5383**
**Traditional Find #3186**
I needed a find for today, but had been running around all day and now the day was almost over. I battled traffic to get here, parked and a short walk saw me arrive at GZ. Not for the first time since I started caching I'm glad I'm not on the short side of tall. I had no trouble reaching the cache from the ground and with then putting it back again. The log is quite moist but still signable. I think that this style of container would benefit from the addition of an 'O' ring.
**Thank-you to xrocketx for placing this geocache**

A nice little cache although it definitely required tree climbing. Please update the attributes - some of us are not 6ft tall! TFTC
A quick k find here today on a wet chilly morning. Thanks For The Cache my 2nd July cache
Well. What a polarva. I immediately saw the cache container. I could even touch it. But I just couldn't open the container with the one finger that could reach the container. I went deeper into the jungle and managed two hands. But just couldn't get into the container.
I had to retreat and get two sets of pipe grips from the car. Tight AF.
Eventually, the lig was signed and I tightened the container by hand. Gently.
Thanks for the cache and the exercise

The cache has been relocated to a different tree, where it is less likely to blow down.
In the area with Rebel Acts for some fun in the sun, and to put some smiles on the map.
This was one of the caches we had some success with, cheers for the cache.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. A late afternoon catch up to clean up a few of the new caches in the area. Thankfully I have the right TOTT and we were soon signing the log.
Thanks xrocketx for the cache.

*Found on the 4 Feb 2023 @ 3:45 pm.*
*Cache find # 14113.*
I headed out this way to clean up a few unfound caches, as luck would have it, I just so happened to have my TOTT in the car, so I headed to GZ to see what I could see.
The cache was spotter and I went about retrieving it which wasn’t too hard to do, the log was signed and then the fun began trying to replace it, the wind was blowing hard but I eventually got it back in place.

Initially we were looking at the wrong object but then we spotted what we were after.
The job of retrieving it was a bit trickier than we were expecting but it was a lot of fun just the same.
Thanks xrocketx for the entertainment you have providing us with.
Chiefton!!!

In the early morning went there and found your cache xrocketx. Thank you so much for placing it.
This was a nice quick retrieval once the cache was spotted. Thought we might need a TOTT but managed without it. Thanks for placing this cache.
Don’t need none of your fancy pansy ways of finding this one. Just getting dark, head light located it and then a good old fashion tree climb with a grabby stick was enough to secure it and then Geokiddos on the deck to sign it off. Job done.
Found this one with PapaGrouch. When looking for some caches to fill a calendar hole I saw that this new one fitted the bill. Tonight I came out with PapaGrouch and my tree-fishing pole and made the find. I got it down reasonably easily and then let PapaGrouch have a go at returning it. This was his first experience of tree-fishing and he found it a little challenging. It does seem to take a bit of practise to get the hang of it, but glad there are a few more appearing so I can use my fairly new TOTT. TFTC
I saw this one get released and just assumed that a local would get it and wasn't planning on going anywhere anyway. 20 minutes later, Huntress said she needed to pick up a layby from a shop nearby. I said, "OK Let's Go!" While she got ready, I threw a few tools in the boot, just in case. Once she was in the car, I said we would be stopping off at Casey Fields first. She instantly knew why.
Arrived and parked in the suggested car park which I've used before. No one seemed to be onsite, and using the new coordinates on Satellite View I knew exactly where I was going. As such, I didn't even use my GPSr. Got to the tree and saw it. After 1 laptop around, I just jumped into the tree and climbed to the geocache. I love monkey climbing. It was a bit of a stretch with both feet wedged between crossing branches but I got container down, and we both signed the log in the FTF places.
Thanks for the cache X Rocket X
