Travelling with richlink as part of our Annual Caravan Geocaching Trip. We are doing a bit of sightseeing around the Barossa using geocaching as our guide. Thanks for the cute little hide.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state WA. Spending a few days in Nuriootpa to cache the surrounds. Loving the scenery that we pass as we move through the caches - this is our preferred caching - not suburbs. Thanks for the smiley Thomas
Continuing with the South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. There is so much to do and in such close proximity. Today it was leaving Adelaide and venturing north through Gamber and then a little east to grab caches in Waikerie to start the onslaught on the bike series of caches and locals. There is always time for one more cache and that seemed to be the theme for the road trip today. We left the airport and started our trip. Some great variety of caches today and some fun along the way. We got to see a huge moon a rising with some awesome pics. Thanks to all the COs for the hides and caches we found today, awesome caches. Caches were signed BOLD 7
Looking for a whistle stop and this park had the goods. After the dewatering came across this cache and decided to have a look. Lovely little park and it was good to stretch the legs, TFTC thomas_tha_tank.
GCA38HA Almost GreensleevesDown in Adelaide from Brisbane for the leap year mega. After arriving today we headed north east to our accommodation in Waikerie grabbing caches along the way.Signed as BOLD 7 to save space in the log. TFTC thomas_tha_tank
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to expire the country. Fab day collecting all sorts including some well preserved oldies. Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches. Lovely park
Found during a caching foray after attending the 'January 2024 at the PA' event in Gawler, taking the opportunity for finding a cluster of caches while in the general area of Evanston Gardens and Blakeview on my way back home. Thanks for the cache thomas_tha_tank!
Quick find and sign. This was supposed to be a field puzzle. Other cachers have mentioned getting a TOTT from the car. Something must have changed as this seems to be a traditional cache now.Calendar-filling for 2023 is almost over. A self-inflicted goal! Only 6 days to go.TFTC thomas_tha_tank.
I had to drop one of the Famous IV at the Aquadome this morning and pick her up at 4 so a day of collecting caches in the northern suburbs was the way to fill time. More than 30 caches were found before I got sick of looking and retired to the Old Spot Hotel for a few beers (although the Red Lion, the Midway and the Elizabeth Tavern were tempting I gave them a miss). Highlight of the day was the walk through the beautiful Dead Man’s Pass. Plenty of good hides but had to give up on some or not start due to friendly muggles. I can recommend the schnitzel at Murray’s BBQ and Beer in Gawler. Thanks to all cache owners in this part of the world…every time I come up this way there are new streets and suburbs but it was good to see there is still some canola, broad beans and oats being grown - however I don’t think that will happen for too much longer.
After dropping the Rat back at her nest after some rather wet caching the rain had stopped so decided to add to my count for the day with this one. This had to be the easiest field puzzle ever, not sure if was meant to be this easy but after the trouble I'd had finding the recent nearby traditional I'm not complaining.
Thanks to thomas_tha_tank for putting out this cache for me to find.

Catching up with Mattycat for the usual Tuesday caching adventure, today he was running behind schedule which gave me some time to find a few he has already found, a nice easy one for us today, no muggles in sight on such a damp morning

Looked like there was a birthday party starting over the other side of the lake , so we quickly found the cache and were off again while everyone was doing the 'meet and greet .'TNLNSL.Thanks again Thomas_tha_tank.
Thanks thomas_tha_tank for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #8102 on 3/2/2023 at 7:53 pm.
A plan was organised for an after work trip to finish off the southern group of the Barossa grapes series. And whatever else was nearby. So here I am galavanting through wine country on a lovely evening.
Caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. Signed physically by myself and returned as found. Thanks for the fun.
This one was an added bonus on the way home. I rescued the small container from the bottom of the tube, signed and returned.

Found the cache and went back to the car for the necessary TOTT. Always carry a selection of TOTTs and use the correct one.

Today Freddo, Courtneyrose_ and LíB and I headed to the barossa to find the new power trail series.
We stopped by this one along the way, took a bit to find the actual cache but back to the car and freddo had the good, lib held the hole and the cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for the cache

A lovely day out with Freddo, Lib and gridge98, love the Grape Geoart! Stopped off at the bakery for yummy food and of course a chocolate donut! Thanks for the series
Very nice. Luckily we were carrying the right TOTT. I feel this is an extra for us as we did the other. Thanks Thomas tha tank, great work.
Stopped by on way past...
Happened to have the right TOTT to access this one...
A very public spot, with a great park.

It was time for another big assault on solved puzzles by members of the Befuddled Puzzle solving group. A big new geo art was published and the members started solving. Time to go and get them all if possible. A big group of brisal5, Anymules Blackadders, Astro and S.A. Sewer Rats (BABAS) for short set out for the Barossa. There was a log of quick finds, but there was also pole fishing, tree climbing, [^] ladder climbing and despite a 6 meter ladder - ladder climbing ending in getting off the top of the ladder and still climbing! Surprisingly we managed to find them all including a couple of FTFs. Being so new all were still in good condition so Generic logs for all.

A nice easy find here today. Thankfully it wasn’t buried deep in the bridge like the previous trad here was.
I found your D2.0/T2.0 Micro Mystery called Almost Greensleeves on 31 December 2022. It was find #17433 for me. Thank you thomas_tha_tank for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of South Australia.

I was at the event this morning and someone said a new cache had been published.
I was heading out this way so I did some caches on the way not worrying about the FTF.
I eventually got here and was surprised to find a blank log book.

Driving past this way, needed a morning tea break so picked this park to park at!
Major sense of deja vu... except this time the tools needed were different
Quickly recovered the little log holder and signed and on my way Second to find! I'll take that
Thanks goes to thomas_tha_tank for locating and maintaining another cache on our ever growing northern 'burbs SA geo-map

Travelling all over the countryside - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of that luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Caution! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Truly fantastic of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Another surprise podium finish, joint third/bronze with Skuzzybear. We had just been to Gawler Fort Knox, and this was the only other cache in the area that neither of us had done.
It wasn’t until we pulled up that I realized that I’d been here quite recently! Different GZ this time. Skuzzy spotted the puzzle and immediately knew what was needed, fortunately we had something in the car that would do the trick.
No ducks were fed. They were all asleep!
Thanks for the puzzle thomas_tha_tank.

3rd to find LTF
Otter61 was celebrating a major challenge milestone today and capturing a podium was a wonderful reward. Cache was cleverly hidden and almost easy! With a bit of team work and effort cache was soon in hand and a happy 3rd was claimed. TYFTC, TNLN
