Owl had an errand and some maintenance to do so naturally JJ52 agreed to come along and round out the day with more cache finding. Owl wasn't exactly on the ball to start with but the Dragon was on fire and soon passed the spark on to Owl. This was the scene of a prior failure and it looked like it might be one again, but the Dragon eventually spotted something cachy that didn't match the clue and this one is finally off Owl's map.
Out for another magical mystery tour with Doctor Owl up to the hills and beyond on another perfect day for caching. We started off with a bit of maintenance then revisiting a couple of DNF's in suburbia before heading for the hills. Another fun day with a variety of caches found along with a lunch stop in Tanunda. This was one of Doctor Owls previous DNF's so she was keen to come back. We started looking in all possible spots referring to the hint but couldn't spot anything. After quite some time we were about to give up when I spotted something that looked cachey but had nothing to do with the hint and there was the cache. Thanks for the cache CACHS_5.
Took me a little while to find it Theres a few muggles aroundIts a beautiful little park, especially with the pond .The hint threw me for a little while, as part of it isnt quite relevant anymore. If really stuck, have a look in previous logs and theres a pretty big clue there.
Found during a caching trip out to the north-eastern suburbs to clear up a cluster of caches that I've been meaning to do for ages. Most caches were found relatively quickly and were in good condition. Thanks for the cache CACHS_5!
Spent the tail end of the afternoon looking for caches around Cobblers Creek and Golden Grove. Climbed some hills, scaled some gullies, spent some time in parks and all caches bar one were located. I was fortunate to know one of the original team at Delfin who developed Golden Grove. Unfortunately he passed away earlier this year. After driving around the Golden Grove labyrinth today, I find it hard to reconcile how someone who was such a straight shooter was responsible for the roundabout routes and roads in this suburb. TFTC to all cache owners.
This was my first one and it was a bit hard but I found it.It was very fun.It was confusing at first because of the hint saying bark but after a bit I noticed it.Very good.
Found with Princess Juzzy on a lovely Sunday afternoon. We went too far, thanks to my poor work, before backtracking and looking in a more likely spot. TFTC
This is my first find with my daughter, great little start to our caching adventures.
Deja vu feeling here. Such a pretty and shady cache stop. TftC and Happy Easter ??
A great spot to hide a cache. Found on the way to sussing a spot for a new mystery cache. Lovely park too. A hidden gem in the area.
Out with WayneAPN and weredunn4 today, aiming to pick up a few caches in this areaQuickly found and log stampedTFTC
Catching up with Weredunn4 and Cheezel1961 caching the NE of Adelaide suburbia.Hunting caches of interest as well as targeting certain D/T combo's and mystery caches.TFTC SL
Out this side of town, which I rarely visit, with Cheezel and Wayne APN, to grab a few urban caches, including many solved puzzles from yonks ago.Cache found and log signed
Ive been here once before without luck, Im pretty sure that there was no cache to be found. Back today noting recent maintenance and a find. Its a hot day, its cool under the arbour, its school holidays, and there isnt a soul in sight. A quick find this time around. Thanks for the cache CACHS_5 and thanks for the maintenance Freddo.
Cache replace after a PAF. There is still a piece of bark.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We had a lot of fun trying to find it ️
A big little team of us finally found it!
Bark was missing though made it more of a challenge

This one took a bit of searching today, thanks to the title of the cache and the hint it finally all came together and the cache was found nicely tucked away
Today I had a few hours spare and with a few new caches up around golden grove and greenwith seemed like a good idea to find a few new caches
Thanks for the cache

Yay time for a Tuesday Trekking, For a trio of Geo animals.
The Starfish picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We then made our to pick up the Snake from the Snake Pit.
Then changed cars, in to the snake mobile.
Our goal for today was to pick up any solved puzzles and anything that popped up on the map.
We made our way to Bobland,
The Snake parked the Snake mobile.
Followed the GPSr,
Arrived at GZ, and the search began.
TheStarfish found the cache.
We all stamped the logbook and returned the cache . Tftc

That weekly Tuesday Trek with the Befuddled came around again. A Starfish, Adder and the Rat once more targeted the North Eastern suburbs with the plan to seek more of the letterbox hides however, as usual, things don't go to plan. With many others around including a few high terrain prizes to get we did not find as many of the said letter boxes as we had liked.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
The name of this one had the Adder humming an old number by Flannagan and Allen albeit with slightly different lyrics.
The hint was spot on but our GPS'r could not agree. After searching possible nooks and crannies the Starfish finally uncovered the prize.
Thank you for the cache CACHS_5 Find Number 10352 on 31/01/2023

The Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving group came around quickly and as usual the group set off in search of solved puzzles and anything else coming into view. I picked up S.A. Sewer Rat from the rat's nest, then on to Blackadders den where we jumped into the Viper Mobile. [^] The it was off towards the Golden Northeast suburbs for a wander. Not all of us required every cache so here are the caches I was able to put my name in the log.
Once again the GPS wanted me to go everywhere so I looked at the clue and used my caching mojo to locate the cache.
***Thanks CACHS_5 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Saw this one published while I was still at work in the Northern Suburbs. Thought I wouldn't make it as the usuals would be out in force. As I was getting closer to home no logs had come in so I made a detour. Was Lucky enough that ttrogg and Squzzie were chatting and allowed me to join them in on their #FTF#. Thanks
Found TTROGG on arrival searching in the undergrowth. Joined in and we moved around until Ttrogg called out FOUND. Then Csaba arrived and joined in with the chit chat and FTF signing. Another CACHS_5 hide after I found their first 2 earlier in the afternoon. You guys are getting very active with your finds and hides and the geocacing population say hurray. More caches for us to find and enjoy. Thanks so much CACHS_5 for another nice hide in a cool park. The other 2 recall previous hides in this park.
